It is found that the tr...Based on Fabry model and finite-different time-domain(FDTD) method, the plasmonic structure composed of a metal-insulator-metal(MIM) bus waveguide and a side-coupled resonator was investigated. It is found that the transmission features can be regulated by the cavity width and coupling distance. Electromagnetically induced transparency(EIT)-like transmission can be excited by adding an identical resonator on the pre-existing structure. Combining the foregoing theoretical analysis with coupled mode theory(CMT), the formation process of the EIT-like transmission was detailedly analyzed. EIT-like transmission can also be excited in plasmonic structure with two detuned resonators. By altering the structure parameters, the transparency window can be purposefully modulated. With the merits of compact structure and simplicity in fabrication, the proposed structures may have a broad prospect of applications in highly integrated optical circuits.展开更多

Some theories explainning this difference were introduced in the paper. The synthesis cavity and the forces on flaky ctalyst were analysed. Based on the analysis of types of hydrostatic mechanical transmission (HMT) and styles of hydraulic transmission, the general drive scheme for HMCVT is obtained. The method of selecting mechanical parameters and hydraulic units is explained, and the stepless speed regulation characteristic of HMCVT is analyzed. This paper also specializes the calculating method of transmission efficiency. It shows that tractors assembled with HMCVT can obtain a continuously variable speed and achieve high drive efficiency.展开更多

A mathematical model is built to calculate the transmissi...For the purpose of improving efficiency and realizing start–stop function, an electric oil pump(EOP) is integrated into an 8-speed automatic transmission(AT). A mathematical model is built to calculate the transmission power loss and the hydraulic system leakage. Based on this model, a flow-based control strategy is developed for EOP to satisfy the system flow requirement. This control strategy is verified through the forward driving simulation. The results indicate that there is a best combination for the size of mechanical oil pump(MOP) and EOP in terms of minimum energy consumption. In order to get a quick and smooth starting process, control strategies of the EOP and the on-coming clutch are proposed. The test environment on a prototype vehicle is built to verify the feasibility of the integrated EOP and its control strategies. The results show that the selected EOP can satisfy the flow requirement and a quick and smooth starting performance is achieved in the start–stop function. This research has a high value for the forward design of EOP in automatic transmissions with respect to efficiency improvement and start–stop function.展开更多

This paper analyzes the interaction between TCP and link layer retransmission scheme when the correlated packet are losses handled, indicates that a higher value of the maximum number of successive link layer timeout retransmissions has an adverse effect on TCP ability to perform congestion control rapidly. To achieve a better TCP performance, the paper proposes a strategy combining link-layer selective-reject automatic repeat request (ARQ) with explicit loss notification mechanism, which can respond to congestion quickly while keeping wireless link more reliable, and make TCP react to the different packet losses more suitably.展开更多
