In this study,the potential application of shaped charge jets as transient antennas for electromagnetic signal transmission was explored and an electromagnetic pulse radiation system with a shaped charge jet as a transient antenna was proposed.During the research,crucial characteristics of the transient antenna formed by a shaped charge with a 30 mm diameter,such as resonant frequency,radiation pattern,and radiation efficiency,were evaluated.The typical shaped charge jet morphology was obtained based on the simulations,in which it could insight the dynamic behavior of the shaped charge jet selected.An equivalent model experiment was employed to test the radiation efficiency,and it showed that a shorting pin loading method could increase the relative bandwidth of the jet antenna to 32.8%,and the experimental results correlate with the theoretical predictions for half-wave dipole antennas reasonably well.Additionally,variations in the diameter of the shaped charge jet were found to affect the input impedance and impedance bandwidth,while the length of the jet influenced the resonant frequency of the antenna.This suggests that altering these parameters can achieve reconfigurability of the jet antenna. 展开更多

The electrostatic discharge(ESD)protection circuit widely exists in the input and output ports of CMOS digital circuits,and fast rising time electromagnetic pulse(FREMP)coupled into the device not only interacts with the CMOS circuit,but also acts on the protection circuit.This paper establishes a model of on-chip CMOS electrostatic discharge protection circuit and selects square pulse as the FREMP signals.Based on multiple physical parameter models,it depicts the distribution of the lattice temperature,current density,and electric field intensity inside the device.At the same time,this paper explores the changes of the internal devices in the circuit under the injection of fast rising time electromagnetic pulse and describes the relationship between the damage amplitude threshold and the pulse width.The results show that the ESD protection circuit has potential damage risk,and the injection of FREMP leads to irreversible heat loss inside the circuit.In addition,pulse signals with different attributes will change the damage threshold of the circuit.These results provide an important reference for further evaluation of the influence of electromagnetic environment on the chip,which is helpful to carry out the reliability enhancement research of ESD protection circuit. 展开更多

Capacitor-based pulsed power supply(PPS)is widely used in fields related to electromagnetic launch,plasma,and materials'synthesis,modification and processing.As industrial applications place higher requirements on compact and portable pulsed power supplies,the National Key Laboratory of Transient Physics(NKLTP)recently developed a pulsed power supply consisting of a set of compact pulse-forming units(PFU),each with a capacitor energy storage of 220 kJ.This integrated PPS comes with a complete system configuration,a miniature compact structure,a high rate of repetition,and high power,with energy storage density exceeding 1.2 MJ/m^(3).This paper describes the device-level design of the unit,the system layout,the control system,the thermal management system,and the experimental results of the pulsed power supply.The experimental results verified the good reliability of the PPS at high repetition rates with each unit module delivering an output current of more than 100 kA.Additionally,flexible current pulse shapes can be formed by setting the charging voltage and the trigger sequence of the PFUs.The pulse forming network(PFN)developed from these PFUs was successfully applied to electromagnetic launch. 展开更多

In this work,the chromium aluminum nitride(CrAlN)coatings were prepared on TC11 titanium alloy by composite magnetic field cathodic arc ion plating with controllable pulse electromagnetic combined with permanent magnet.The effects of electromagnetic frequency on the morphology,microstructure,nano-hardness and elastic modulus of the coatings were investigated by scanning electron microscope(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD)and nano-indenter.This paper has mainly studied the influence of CrAlN coatings which are prepared at various electromagnetic frequencies on the wear and erosion resistance through a series of wear and solid particle erosion experiments.It was found that the deposition rate of CrAlN coatings increases with the increase of electromagnetic frequency.And CrAlN coatings all preferentially grew along the(111)crystal plane.At 16.7 Hz,with the increase of pulsed electromagnetic frequency,the hardness is the highest(23.6 GPa)and the adhesion is the highest(41.5 N).In addition,the coating deposition exhibited the best wear and solid erosion resistance at 16.7 Hz and 33.3 Hz,the friction coefficient is about 0.35,and the erosion rate is about 0.2μm/g at 30°and less than 1μm/g at 90°,respectively.These results indicate that the CrAlN coating formed at an appropriate pulsed electromagnetic frequency can achieve excellent mechanical properties,wear and solid erosion resistance. 展开更多

For conveniently calculating the radiated electric field of transverse electromagnetic(TEM) horn antenna,an approximate simplified analytical calculation method is suggested.This method divides the horn to a system of V-antennas and superimposes the fields of all V-antennas to obtain the field of the TEM horn.The method is compared with the traditional analytical method and numerical method.The obtained results suggest that the proposed method is valid,simple and that it can fastly calculate the radiated electric field of the TEM horn antenna in an arbitrary space with an arbitrary excitation voltage.Based on this method,radiation of the TEM horn antenna of a high-altitude electromagnetic pulse(HEMP) simulator is simulated.Rise time,pulse width,peak value of electric field,and field distribution are analyzed.Results show that the TEM horn antenna can be used in HEMP simulators: the near field waveform is closer to the standard waveform than to the far field waveform; the standards for the rise time and the peak value of electric field are easily satisfied; the pulse width of the radiated field can be increased by broadening the pulse width of an excitation source and by making the antenna of a proper 展开更多

Many conventional methods of testing strong and pulsed electromagnetic fields,the ones used in radars for example,had deficiencies due to the difficulty in obtaining simultaneous information about the electromagnetic field's peak both in the time domain and in the frequency domain.With regard to this problem,after analyzing the time-domain and the frequency-domain characteristics of radar pulsed signals,we propose a new time-frequency combination test method based on the correction of the test parameters,as well as its correction method at different bandwidths.The test method is applied in a quick test of a high-power pulsed radar signal,and the corrected results have error less than 1 dB in both the time domain and the frequency domain,which indicates that the proposed time-frequency combined method is effective in testing strong and pulsed electromagnetic fields. 展开更多

To characterize the shielding effectiveness(SE) of materials against electromagnetic pulse(EMP) that cannot be adequately evaluated by traditional test methods,a transfer function model of SE is proposed.Using homemade broadband coaxial fixture,the SE of a metal fabric material against square-pulse and electrostatic discharge(ESD) EMP is tested in the time domain.The peak SE calculated from the test results matches well with that obtained theoretically.Based on the system identification theory,we propose the transfer function model of SE,which takes the square pulse and human body model ESD EMP data obtained in the tests as training data and takes the machine model as verification data,as well as a second-order expression of the transfer function.Using the transfer function model,the waveforms of the shield-penetrated square-pulse EMP and the ESD EMP are actually predicted.From the perspective of system identification,this accurate prediction of the shielded waveform of EMP provides a reliable way for evaluating SE of materials against EMP. 展开更多

针对雷电电磁脉冲(LEMP)对电解铝整流系统的干扰问题,提出了一种基于多路径耦合机制的抗干扰数学模型。通过解析雷击源特性、传导与辐射耦合路径及系统动态响应,建立包含时域有限差分法(FDTD)的电磁场分布模型及等效电路模型,并引入屏... 针对雷电电磁脉冲(LEMP)对电解铝整流系统的干扰问题,提出了一种基于多路径耦合机制的抗干扰数学模型。通过解析雷击源特性、传导与辐射耦合路径及系统动态响应,建立包含时域有限差分法(FDTD)的电磁场分布模型及等效电路模型,并引入屏蔽效率因子η_(s)、滤波衰减系数K_f和接地阻抗Z_(g)来量化防护措施的效果。仿真结果表明:综合屏蔽-滤波-接地策略,可将LEMP引起的过电压幅值降低83.2%,控制系统误动作率降低91.5%。实验验证进一步表明,优化接地网布局(接地电阻小于0.5Ω)和多层屏蔽结构(屏蔽效能高于60 dB)可显著提升系统的电磁兼容性。本研究可为电解铝整流系统的LEMP防护提供可量化的设计依据,具有重要的工程应用价值。 展开更多

An electromagnetic coupling mathematical model is established by finite element method and is verified by the contrastive experiments of copper matrix Ni-TiN cylindrical coating electrode,copper electrode and Cu50 W electrode.The wear mechanism of Ni-TiN/Cu composite electrode in the case of high-frequency pulse current is studied,and the influence of the fluctuation frequency of discharge current on electrode wear in micro-EDM is found out.Compared with the electrode made from homogeneous material,the high frequency electromagnetic properties of Ni-TiN composite layer can be used effectively to inhibit the effect of high frequency pulse on the electrode and improve the distribution trend of current density. 展开更多

To develop electromagnetic protection composites with integrated structure -function properties, the three-dimension (3D) braided nickel plated carbon fiber/epoxy resin (Ni-CF3D/EP) composites were prepared based on 3D five-directional braiding, unitary nickel plating and mold compression shaping. The electromagnetic protection properties of Ni-CF3D/EP composites including shielding effective- ness (SE) and reflection loss against plane electromagnetic wave, shielding properties against electromagnetic pulse (EMP) were investigated. The test results show that the novel composites have good electromagnetic protection properties in a wide frequency range of 14 kHz~18 GHz with SE of 42 dB~95 dB, the absorption bandwidth of –5 dB in 2 GHz~18 GHz can reach 10 GHz and the pulse peak SE against EMP is 43.7 dB which can reduce the electromagnetic energy greatly. Meanwhile, the mechanic properties were also investi- gated and the results indicate that the Ni-CF3D/EP composites can replace metal materials for loading-bearing structural applications because of their excellent mechanic properties. 展开更多

电磁脉冲焊接作为一种先进的异种金属固相焊接技术,以其独特的优势在电力传输、汽车制造及制冷设备等领域获得了广泛应用。然而,该焊接技术在Al-Cu接头面临焊缝处存在金属间化合物、裂缝等中间层生成的问题,造成焊缝的力学性能降低。该... 电磁脉冲焊接作为一种先进的异种金属固相焊接技术,以其独特的优势在电力传输、汽车制造及制冷设备等领域获得了广泛应用。然而,该焊接技术在Al-Cu接头面临焊缝处存在金属间化合物、裂缝等中间层生成的问题,造成焊缝的力学性能降低。该文根据电磁脉冲焊接接头中间层的形成机理,提出基于双线圈结构的电磁脉冲焊接方法,通过降低焊接界面板件运动速度的水平分量降低界面剪切效应,从而抑制焊缝金属间化合物中间层生成。为验证该方法的有效性,基于电磁-力耦合有限元仿真模型,对比了基于单、双线圈结构的电磁脉冲焊接过程中的电磁参数分布特性,并将仿真的板件运动过程和实验进行对比,最后观测接头界面的形貌。结果表明,基于单线圈结构的电磁脉冲焊接接头界面出现了明显的中间层;而基于双线圈结构的电磁脉冲焊接接头界面无中间层产生,界面形貌剪切效应较低,且接头拥有良好的力学性能。 展开更多

电缆线芯与电缆连接管属于典型的管/绳连接结构,在长期运行过程中电缆接头需具有良好的接头电阻和机械强度。使用电磁焊接装置对电缆连接管与70 mm2电缆线芯进行连接,对电缆接头在焊接过程中出现的断股问题展开研究。利用Maxwell电磁场... 电缆线芯与电缆连接管属于典型的管/绳连接结构,在长期运行过程中电缆接头需具有良好的接头电阻和机械强度。使用电磁焊接装置对电缆连接管与70 mm2电缆线芯进行连接,对电缆接头在焊接过程中出现的断股问题展开研究。利用Maxwell电磁场分析软件仿真优化了该电磁焊接装置的集磁器结构和工作区长度。结果表明,当集磁器结构为T形时,工作区中心磁感应强度可达32.10 T。当集磁器工作区长度为27、18 mm时,电缆接头接触良好,接头电阻可稳定在40μΩ以下。连接管与线芯之间形成波状焊接界面,实现了连接管与线芯的一体化连接。 展开更多
