Utilizing the split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB) system, the dynamic response mechanism of coal energy evolution is examined, and the energy instability criterion is established. The validity of the instability criterion is explored from the standpoint of damage progression. The results demonstrate that the energy conversion mechanism undergoes a fundamental alternation under impact disturbance. Moreover, the energy release rate as well as the energy dissipation rate undergo comparable changes across distinct levels of impact disturbance. The distinction between the energy release rate and the energy dissipation rate (DRD) increases as coal mass deformation grows. Prior to coal facing instability and failure, the DRD experienced an inflection point followed by a sharp decrease. In conjunction with the discussion on the damage evolution, the physical and mechanical significance of DRD remains clear, which can essentially describe the whole impact loading process. The phenomenon that the inflection point appears and DRD subsequently suddenly decreases can be employed as the energy criterion prior to the failure of instability. Furthermore, this paper provides significant reference for the prediction of dynamic instability of coal under dynamic disturbance.展开更多

In such a netwo...Delay aware routing is now widely used to provide efficient network transmission. However, for newly developing or developed mobile communication networks(MCN), only limited delay data can be obtained. In such a network, the delay is with epistemic uncertainty, which makes the traditional routing scheme based on deterministic theory or probability theory not applicable. Motivated by this problem, the MCN with epistemic uncertainty is first summarized as a dynamic uncertain network based on uncertainty theory, which is widely applied to model epistemic uncertainties. Then by modeling the uncertain end-toend delay, a new delay bounded routing scheme is proposed to find the path with the maximum belief degree that satisfies the delay threshold for the dynamic uncertain network. Finally, a lowEarth-orbit satellite communication network(LEO-SCN) is used as a case to verify the effectiveness of our routing scheme. It is first modeled as a dynamic uncertain network, and then the delay bounded paths with the maximum belief degree are computed and compared under different delay thresholds.展开更多

Non-stationary changes in flight state due to abrupt changes in maneuver modes place high demands on the accuracy of modeling methods. To address this issue, a novel maneuver laws modeling and analysis method based on higher order multi-resolution dynamic mode decomposition(HMDMD) is proposed in this work. A joint time-space-frequency decomposition of the vehicle's state sequence in the complex flight scenario is achieved with the higher order Koopman assumption and standard multi-resolution dynamic mode decomposition, and an approximate dynamic model is established. The maneuver laws can be reconstructed and analyzed with extracted multi-scale spatiotemporal modes with clear physical meaning. Based on the dynamic model of HGV, two flight scenarios are established with constant angle of attack and complex maneuver laws, respectively. Simulation results demonstrate that the maneuver laws obtained using the HMDMD method are highly consistent with those derived from the real dynamic model, the modeling accuracy is better than other common modeling methods, and the method has strong interpretability.展开更多

This study investigates the mechanisms underlying the enhanced dynamic response of reinforced concrete blast doors with four-sided restraints in confined space. Explosion tests with TNT charges ranging from 0.15 kg to 0.4 kg were conducted in a confined space, capturing overpressure loads and the dynamic response of the blast door. An internal explosion model incorporating the afterburning effect was developed using LS-DYNA software and validated against experimental data. The results reveal that the TNT afterburning effect amplifies both the initial peak overpressure and the quasi-static overpressure, resulting in increased deformation of the blast door.Within the 0.15-0.4 kg charge range, the initial overpressure peak and quasi-static overpressure increased by an average of 1.79 times and 2.21 times, respectively. Additionally, the afterburning effect enhanced the blast door's deflection by 177%. Compared to open-space scenarios, the cumulative deflection of the blast door due to repeated shock wave impacts is significantly greater in confined spaces. Furthermore, the quasi-static pressure arising from the structural constraints sustains the blast door's deflection at a high level.展开更多

文摘Inspired by the thermal stability mechanism of thermophilic protein, which presents ionic bonds that have better stability at higher temperatures, this paper proposes the introduction of electrostatic interactions by adding carboxyl-modified silica(C-SiO2),PAA,and CaCl_(2) to achieve higher viscosity over 25℃.The rheological behavior of C-SiO_(2)-based shear thickening fluid(CS-STF)was investigated at a temperature range of 25–55℃.Unlike SiO_(2)-based STF,which exhibits single-step thickening and a negative correlation between viscosity and temperature. As the C-SiO_(2) content was 41%(w/w)and the mass ratio of PAA:CaCl_(2):C-SiO_(2) was 3:1:10,the CS-STF displayed a double-thickening behavior, and the peak viscosity reached 1330 Pa·s at 35℃.From the yarn pull-out test, the inter-yarn force was significantly increased with the increasing CS-STF content.Treating UHMWPE fabrics with CS-STF improved the impact resistance effectively. In the blunt impact test, the U-CS fabrics with high CS-STF content(121.45 wt%)experienced penetration failure under high impact energy(18 J)due to stress concentration caused by the shear thickening behavior. The knife stabbing test demonstrated that U-CS fabrics with appropriate content(88.38 wt%)have the best stabbing resistance in various impact energies.Overall, this study proposed a high-performence STF showing double-thickening and enhancing shear-thickening behavior at a wide temperature range, the composite fabrics with the performance of resisting both the blunt and stab impact had broad application prospects in the field of personal protection.

文摘This study investigates the instability characteristics of dynamic disasters resulting from disruption caused by extracting resources underground. Furthermore, this paper provides significant reference for the prediction of dynamic instability of coal under dynamic disturbance.

文摘This study designs four types of liquid-filled cylindrical shell structures to investigate their protection characteristics against explosive shock waves and high-speed fragments.Bare charge and charge-driven prefabricated fragments are employed to examine the damage under blast shock waves and combined blast and fragments loading on various liquid-filled cylindrical shell structures. The test results are compared to numerical calculations and theoretical analysis for the structure's deformation, the liquid medium's movement, and the pressure waves'propagation characteristics under different liquid-filling methods. The results showed that the filling method influences the blast protection and the struc-ture's energy absorption performance. The external filling method reduces the structural deformation, and the internal filling method increases the damage effect. The gapped internal filling method improves the structure's energy absorption efficiency. The pressure wave loading on the liquid-filled cylindrical shell structure differs depending on filling methods.Explosive shock waves and high-speed fragments show a damage enhancement effect on the liquid-filled cylindrical shell structure, depending on the thickness of the internal liquid container layer. The specific impulse on the inner surface of the cylindrical shell positively correlates to the radial deformation of the cylindrical shell structure, and the external liquid layer limits the radial structural deformation.

文摘Delay aware routing is now widely used to provide efficient network transmission. It is first modeled as a dynamic uncertain network, and then the delay bounded paths with the maximum belief degree are computed and compared under different delay thresholds.

文摘The precise characterization of hypersonic glide vehicle(HGV) maneuver laws in complex flight scenarios still faces challenges. Simulation results demonstrate that the maneuver laws obtained using the HMDMD method are highly consistent with those derived from the real dynamic model, the modeling accuracy is better than other common modeling methods, and the method has strong interpretability.

文摘The afterburning of TNT and structural constraints in confined spaces significantly amplify the blast load, leading to severe structural damage. Furthermore, the quasi-static pressure arising from the structural constraints sustains the blast door's deflection at a high level.

文摘The aim of this paper is to simulate and study the early moments of the reactive ballistics of a large caliber projectile fired from a gun, combining 0D and 2D axisymmetric Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)approaches.First, the methodology is introduced with the development of an interior ballistics(IB)lumped parameter code(LPC),integrating an original image processing method for calculating the specific regression of propellant grains that compose the gun propellant. The ONERA CFD code CEDRE,equipped with a Dynamic Mesh Technique(DMT),is then used in conjunction with the developed LPC to build a dedicated methodology to calculate IB.First results obtained on the AGARD gun and 40 mm gun test cases are in a good agreement with the existing literature.CEDRE is also used to calculate inter-mediate ballistics(first milliseconds of free flight of the projectile)with a multispecies and reactive approach either starting from the gun muzzle plane or directly following IB.In the latter case,an inverse problem involving a Latin hypercube sampling method is used to find a gun propellant configuration that allows the projectile to reach a given exit velocity and base pressure when IB ends. The methodology developed in this work makes it possible to study the flame front of the intermediate flash and depressurization that occurs in a base bleed(BB)channel at the gun muzzle.Average pressure variations in the BB channel during depressurization are in good agreement with literature.

文摘The process of ground vehicle dynamic gravimetry is inevitably affected by the carrier’s maneuvering acceleration, which makes the result contain a large amount of dynamic error. In this paper,we propose a dynamic error suppression method of gravimetry based on the high-precision acquisition of external velocity for compensating the horizontal error of the inertial plat-form.On the basis of platform gravity measurement, firstly, the dynamic performance of the system is enhanced by optimizing the horizontal damping network of the inertial platform and selecting its parameter.Secondly,an improved federal Kalman filtering algorithm and a fault diagnosis method are designed using strapdown inertial navigation system(SINS),odometer(OD),and laser Doppler velocimeter(LDV).Simulation validates that these methods can improve the accuracy and robustness of the external velocity acquisition.Three survey lines are selected in Tianjin,China, for the gravimetry experiments with different maneuvering levels, and the results demonstrate that after dynamic error suppression, the internal coincidence accuracies of smooth and uniform operation, obvious acceleration and deceleration operation, and high-dynamic operation are improved by 70.2%,73.6%,and 77.9%to reach 0.81 mGal,1.30 mGal,and 1.94 mGal,respectively, and the external coinci-dence accuracies during smooth and uniform operation are improved by 48.6%up to 1.66 mGal.It is shown that the pro-posed method can effectively suppress the dynamic error, and that the accuracy improvement increases with carrier maneuver-ability.However,the amount of residual error that can not be entirely eliminated increases as well,so the ground vehicle dynamic gravimetry should be maintained in the carrier for smooth and uniform operation.
文摘Stab-resistant textiles play a critical role in personal protection, necessitating a deeper understanding of how structural and layering factors influence their performance. The current study experimentally examines the effects of textile structure, layering, and ply orientation on the stab resistance of multi-layer textiles.Three 3D warp interlock(3DWI)structures({f1},{f2},{f3})and a 2D woven fabric({f4}),all made of high-performance p-aramid yarns, were engineered and manufactured.Multi-layer specimens were prepared and subjected to drop-weight stabbing tests following HOSBD standards.Stabbing performance metrics, including Depth of Trauma(DoT),Depth of Penetration(DoP),and trauma deformation(Ymax,Xmax),were investigated and analyzed.Statistical analyses(Two-and One-Way ANOVA)indicated that fabric type and layer number significantly impacted DoP(P<0.05),while ply orientation significantly affected DoP(P<0.05)but not DoT(P>0.05).Further detailed analysis revealed that 2D woven fabrics exhibited greater trauma deformation than 3D WIF structures.Increasing the number of layers reduced both DoP and DoT across all fabric structures, with f3 demonstrating the best performance in multi-layer configurations.Aligned ply orientations also enhanced stab resistance, underscoring the importance of alignment in dissipating impact energy.

文摘As the performance of the box-type multiple launch rocket system(BMLRS)improves, its mechanical structures, particularly the plane clearance design between the slider on the rocket and the guide inside the launch canister, have grown increasingly complex. However, deficiencies still exist in the current launch modeling theory for BMLRS.In this study,a multi-rigid-flexible-body launch dynamics model coupling the launch platform and rocket was established using the multibody system transfer matrix method and the Newton-Euler formulation.Furthermore, considering the bending of the launch canister,a detection algorithm for slider-guide plane clearance contact was proposed. To quantify the contact force and friction effect between the slider and guide, the contact force model and modified Coulomb model were introduced. Both the modal and launch tests were conducted.Additionally, the modal convergence was verified.By comparing the modal experiments and simulation results, the maximum relative error of the eigenfrequency is 3.29%.thereby verifying the accuracy of the developed BMLRS dynamics model.Furthermore, the launch test validated the proposed plane clearance contact model. Moreover, the study investigated the influence of various model parameters on the dynamic characteristics of BMLRS,including launch canister bending stiffness, slider and guide material,slider-guide clearance, slider length and layout. This analysis of influencing factors provides a foundation for future optimization in BMLRS design.
