The coupling effect of heat absorption and release exists in the thermal decomposition of a few chemical materials.However,the impact of the above coupling on thermal hazard assessment is not considered in the literat...The coupling effect of heat absorption and release exists in the thermal decomposition of a few chemical materials.However,the impact of the above coupling on thermal hazard assessment is not considered in the literature studies.In this work,nitroguanidine(NQ)and 1,3,5-trinitro-1,3,5-triazine(RDX)are selected as representative materials to explore the influence of the coupling effect on the thermal hazard assessment of chemical materials.The linear heating experiments of NQ and RDX are carried out by a microcalorimeter and synchronous thermal analyser.The thermal decomposition curves are decoupled by advanced thermokinetics software.The thermal decomposition and kinetic parameters before and after decoupling are calculated.The results of TG experiment show that both NQ and RDX began to lose mass during the endothermic stage.The endothermic melting and exothermic decomposition of NQ and RDX are coupled within this stage.The coupling effect has different degrees of influence on its initial decomposition temperature and safety parameters.Compared with the parameters in the coupling state,the initial decomposition temperature and adiabatic induction period after decoupling decrease.The self-accelerating decomposition temperature increases,and internal thermal runaway time decreases.In the thermal hazard assessment of chemical materials with coupling effects,the calculated parameters after decoupling should be taken as an important safety index。展开更多
Trade credit,as an effective tool for integrating and coordinating material,information,and financial flows in supply chain management,is becoming increasingly widespread.We explore how a manufacturer can design optim...Trade credit,as an effective tool for integrating and coordinating material,information,and financial flows in supply chain management,is becoming increasingly widespread.We explore how a manufacturer can design optimal trade credit contracts when a risk-averse retailer hides its sales cost information(adverse selection)and selling effort level(moral hazard).We develop incentive models for a risk-averse supply chain when adverse selection and moral hazard coexist,which are then compared with the results under single information asymmetry(moral hazard).Moreover,we analyze the effects of private information and risk-aversion coefficient on contract parameters,selling effort level and the profit or utility of the supply chain.The study shows that when the degree of retailer’s risk aversion is within a certain range,reasonable trade credit contracts designed by the manufacturer can effectively induce the retailer to report its real sales cost and encourage it to exert appropriate effort.Furthermore,we find that the optimal trade credit period,optimal transfer payment,and retailer’s optimal sales effort level under dual information asymmetry are less than those under single information asymmetry.Numerical analysis are conducted to demonstrate the effects of the parameters on decisions and profits.展开更多
In recent years,the escalation in accidental explosions has emerged as a formidable threat to tunnel infrastructures.Therefore,it is of great significance to conduct a dynamic performance analysis of the tunnels,to im...In recent years,the escalation in accidental explosions has emerged as a formidable threat to tunnel infrastructures.Therefore,it is of great significance to conduct a dynamic performance analysis of the tunnels,to improve the safety and maintain the functionality of underground transport hubs.To this end,this study proposes a dynamic performance assessment framework to assess the extent of damage of shallow buried circular tunnels under explosion hazards.First,the nonlinear dynamic finite element numerical model of soil-tunnel interaction system under explosion hazard was established and validated.Then,based on the validated numerical model,an explosion intensity(EI)considering both explosion equivalent and relative distance was used to further analyze the dynamic response characteristics under typical explosion conditions.Finally,this study further explored the influence of the integrity and strength of the surrounding soil,concrete strength,lining thickness,rebar strength,and rebar rate on the tunnel dynamic performance.Our results show that the dynamic performance assessment framework proposed for shallow circular tunnels fully integrates the coupling effects of explosion equivalent and distance,and is able to accurately measure the degree of damage sustained by these structures under different EI.This work contributes to designing and managing tunnels and underground transport networks based on dynamic performance,thereby facilitating decision-making and efficient allocation of resources by consultants,operators,and stakeholders.展开更多
