The singular limit we consider corresponds to the physical problem of letting the Bouguer number infinite while keeping the Boltzmann number constant. In the case when the corresponding Euler system admits a contact discontinuity wave, Wang and Xie (2011) [12] recently verified this singular limit and proved that the solution of the compressible radiation hydrodynamics model converges to the strong contact 1 discontinuity wave in the L∞-norm away from the discontinuity line at a rate of ε1/4, as the reciprocal of the Bouguer number tends to zero. In this paper, Wang and Xie's convergence rate is improved to ε7/8 by introducing a new a priori assumption and some refined energy estimates. Moreover, it is shown that the radiation flux q tends to zero in the L∞-norm away from the discontinuity line, at a convergence rate as the reciprocal of the Bouguer number tends to zero.展开更多

The established Monte Carlo model mainly concerns the variations of optical electric field and speckle. The two- dimensional intensity distribution and the time evolution of speckles in different probe locations are obtained. The fluctuation of speckle intensity tracks the acoustic-radiation-force shear wave propagation, and especially the reduction of speckle intensity implies attenuation of shear wave. Then, the shear wave velocity is estimated quantitatively on the basis of the time-to-peak algorithm and linear regression processing. The results reveal that a smaller sampling interval yields higher estimation precision and the shear wave velocity is estimated more efficiently by using speckle intensity difference than by using speckle contrast difference according to the estimation error. Hence, the shear wave velocity is estimated to be 2.25 m/s with relatively high accuracy for the estimation error reaches the minimum (0.071).展开更多

The energy flow contains not only the contribution of the thermal flux but also that of the particle flux. It is found that the charge can also be transported via the one-dimensional quantum tunnel. Because of the existence of the electrostatic potential, the entropy production rate is shown to be smaller than that of the Schwarzschild black hole.展开更多

The pressure rise calculated by the three radiation models are compared to the measured results. Particularly when the senti-empirical model is used, the effect of different boundary temperatures of the re-absorption layer in the semi-empirical model on pressure rise is concentrated on. The results show that the re-absorption effect in the low-temperature region affects radiation transfer of fault arcs evidently, and thus the internal pressure rise. Compared with the NEC model, P1 and the semi-empirical model with 0.7 〈 α 〈 0.83 are more suitable to calculate the pressure rise of the fault arc, where is an adjusted parameter involving the boundary temperature of the re-absorption region in the semi-empirical model.展开更多

It is found that the model surface TIR temperature (TIRT) changes with the increase of load. Furthermore, TIRT changes non-synchronously in different ranges such as the roof, floor, wall, corners and bolted ranges. The TIRT is higher in the location of stress concentration and bolted ranges than that in the location of stress relaxation and broken ranges. The interaction ranges of bolt and rock are determined preliminarily according to the corresponding relationship of TIRT fields and the strain fields of the surrounding rock. The new method of TIR image processing has been proved to be effective for the study of bolt support and observation of roadway stability under mine pressure.展开更多

To study the effects of junction characteristic parameters on radiation properties, new radiation circuit models are proposed in this paper. The series resistively and capacitively shunted junction(RCSJ) models are packaged into a Josephson junction array(JJA) model in the simulation. The current-voltage characteristics(IVCs) curve and radiation peaks are simulated and analyzed by circuit models, which are also observed from the experiment at liquid nitrogen temperature. The experimental radiation linewidth and power are in good agreement with simulated results. The presented circuit models clearly demonstrate that the inconsistency of the JJA will cause a broad linewidth and a low detected power. The junction radiation properties are also investigated at the optimal situation by circuit simulation. The results further confirm that the consistent JJA characteristic parameters can successfully narrow the radiation linewidth and increase the power of junction radiation.展开更多

Our model assumes that the electromagnetic radiation pulses are initiated by vibrations of the charged rock grains on the tips of the crack. The vibrations of the rock grains are stimulated by the pulses of the cracks. Our simulations show comparable results with Rabinovitch's compression experiments. From the simulation results, it verifies an assumption that the crack width is inversely proportional to the circular frequency electromagnetic radiation, which is presented by Rabinovitch et al. The simulation results also imply that, by using our oscillating dipole model together with Rabinovitch's two equations about the crack length and crack width, we can quantitatively analyse and simulate the electromagnetic radiation phenomenon, which is induced from the fracture of the rocks.展开更多

That is, the thermal radiation of the black hole always satisfies the generalised Stenfan-Boltzmann law. The derived generalised Stenfan-Boltzmann coefficient is no longer a constant. This paper analyzes the problem on two aspects: model experiment and numerical calculation. The model experiment is carried out including three cases firstly, in which the structural vibration response and radiating acoustic field are measured respectively, and the results gained in these three cases are analyzed to discuss the effect of reducing structural vibration and radiating noise of the deadening and decoupling materials. The coupling FEM/BEM and the SEA methods are both used in numerical calculation, i.e. the arithmetic of the coupling FEM/BEM method is adopted to calculate the low frequency characteristics and the SEA method is adopted to calculate the medium-high frequencies characteristics of the model. By comparing experimental results with numerical calculation results, it is proved that the algorithm adopted in this paper is reasonable.展开更多

文摘The plasma wake of reentry vehicles has the advantages of extensive space range and long traceability, which provides new possibilities for the detection and monitoring of reentry vehicles.Based on the Zakharov model, this work investigates the excitation and power spectrum characteristics of electromagnetic radiation for the plasma wake of a typical reentry vehicle. With the aid of parametric decay instability, the excitation condition of electromagnetic radiation for a typical plasma wake is evaluated first. The power spectrum characteristics of electromagnetic radiation, including the effects of both the flight parameters and incident wave parameters are analyzed in detail. The results show that when the phenomenon of excited electromagnetic radiation occurs, plasma wakes closer to the bottom of the vehicle and with faster speeds require higher incident frequencies and thresholds of the electric field. As the frequency of the incident wave increases, peaks appear in the power spectra of plasma wakes, and their magnitudes increase gradually. The frequency shifts of the secondary peaks are equal, whereas, the peaks of the downshifted spectral lines are generally larger than those of the upshifted spectral lines. The work in this paper provides a new idea and method for the tracking of reentry vehicles, which has potential application value in the field of reentry vehicle detection.
文摘The research on structural vibration and sound radiation of underwater ring-ribbed cylindrical shell, which is coated with a kind of deadening and decoupling materials, becomes a focus in recent years. By comparing experimental results with numerical calculation results, it is proved that the algorithm adopted in this paper is reasonable.

文摘The characteristics of the best known defect centers E' in silica optical fiber material irradiated with ray were investigated by ESR at room temperature.A mechanism model of production of the E' center defect was established. The production of E' center includes two processes creation and activation. The strained bonds(or oxygen replacement) in silica networks lead to the creation of new defects whose concentration increases linearly with the dose. The pre-existing defects produce the activation, which tends to saturation.According to this model, the relation of E' center concentration changing with irradiation dose was obtained theoretically. The results are in good agreement with the experimental results.
文摘With the development of anti-radiation weapons, the effectiveness evaluation of anti-radiation weapons has been turned from the simple accuracy index to the integrated countermeasure capability. The research priority is how to access the combat effectiveness of anti-radiation weapons in a complex countermeasure environment. For the present situation of range test of anti-radiation weapons,a combat effectiveness assessment model based on non-linear index aggregation is proposed for anti-radiation weapons. And the corresponding index system model, index aggregation methods, index marking method and index weight determination are given. Finally, the simulation results verify the efficiency and feasibility of the proposed method.
