A fuzzy-immune PID controller was soft start (HVSS) device of a belt conveyor, a fuzzy-immune con- designed based on immune feedback regulations and adaptability of the fuzzy logic inference. Using MATLAB software, we simulated the controller and compared the HVSS device with a conven- tional PID controller and a fuzzy PID controller. The simulation results show that the controller is not only very reliable as a PID controller, robust and requires only a short adjustment time of fuzzy control, but possesses also capacity of global optimization of the immune algorithm. To verify our theoretical analysis and simulation, a HVSS test-bed was developed. The experimental results demonstrate that the fuzzy-immune PID controller managed to start the belt conveyor softly and to follow an S-shaped curve while the output speed correctly followed the preset speed with only small fluctuations in speed.展开更多
Due to low investment cost and high reliability,a new scheme called DR-HVDC(Diode Rectifier based HVDC)transmission was recently proposed for grid integration of large offshore wind farms.However,in this scheme,the ap...Due to low investment cost and high reliability,a new scheme called DR-HVDC(Diode Rectifier based HVDC)transmission was recently proposed for grid integration of large offshore wind farms.However,in this scheme,the application of conventional control strategies for stability operation face several challenges due to the uncontrollability of the DR.In this paper,a coordinated control strategy of offshore wind farms using the DR-HVDC transmission technology to connect with the onshore grid,is investigated.A novel coordinated control strategy for DR-HVDC is proposed based on the analysis of the DC current control ability of the full-bridge-based modular multilevel converter(FB-MMC)at the onshore station and the input and output characteristics of the diode rectifier at the offshore.Considering the characteristics of operation stability and decoupling between reactive power and active power,a simplified design based on double-loop droop control for offshore AC voltage is proposed after power flow and voltage–current(I–V)characteristics of the offshore wind farm being analyzed.Furthermore,the impact of onshore AC fault to offshore wind farm is analyzed,and a fast fault detection and protection strategy without relying on communication is proposed.Case studies carried out by PSCAD/EMTDC verify the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy for the start up,power fluctuation,and onshore and offshore fault conditions.展开更多

Based on the speed-torque characteristics of the planetary gears and the principle of the auxiliary motor' s zero speed braking, control features of mode switching were introduced. The mode shifting between the main motor mode and dual motors coupled driving were studied. Matlab/Simulink was adopted as a platform to develop the simulation model of EVs with dual motors drive system and 3 gears AMT. After analyzing t...This paper deals with both the leading train and the following train in a train tracking under a four-aspect fixed autoblock system in order to study the optimum operating strategy for energy saving. After analyzing the working principle of the four-aspect fixed autoblock system, an energy-saving control model is created based on the dynamics equation of the Wains. In addition to safety, energy consumption and time error are the main concerns of the model. Based on this model, dynamic speed constraints of the following train are proposed, defined by the leading gain dynamically. At the same time, the static speed constraints defined by the line conditions are also taken into account. The parallel genetic algorithm is used to search the optimum operating strategy. In order to simplify the solving process, the external punishment function is adopted to transform this problem with constraints to the one without constraints. By using the real number coding and the strategy of dividing ramps into three parts, the convergence of GA is accelerated and the length of chromosomes is shortened. The simulation result from a four-aspect fixed autoblock system simulation platform shows that the method can reduce the energy consumption effectively in the premise of ensuring safety and punctuality.展开更多

In order to improve the frequency response and anti-interference characteristics of the smart electromechanical actuator(EMA)system,and aiming at the force fighting problem when multiple actuators work synchronously,a...In order to improve the frequency response and anti-interference characteristics of the smart electromechanical actuator(EMA)system,and aiming at the force fighting problem when multiple actuators work synchronously,a multi input multi output(MIMO)position difference cross coupling control coordinated strategy based on double‑closed-loop load feedforward control is proposed and designed.In this strategy,the singular value method of return difference matrix is used to design the parameter range that meets the requirements of system stability margin,and the sensitivity function and the H_(∞)norm theory are used to design and determine the optimal solution in the obtained parameter stability region,so that the multi actuator system has excellent synchronization,stability and anti-interference.At the same time,the mathematical model of the integrated smart EMA system is established.According to the requirements of point-to-point control,the controller of double-loop control and load feedforward compensation is determined and designed to improve the frequency response and anti-interference ability of single actuator.Finally,the 270 V high-voltage smart EMA system experimental platform is built,and the frequency response,load feedforward compensation and coordinated control experiments are carried out to verify the correctness of the position difference cross coupling control strategy and the rationality of the parameter design,so that the system can reach the servo control indexes of bandwidth 6 Hz,the maximum output force 20000 N and the synchronization error≤0.1 mm,which effectively solves the problem of force fighting.展开更多
The capture operation performed by a snare-type end-effector mainly relies on three flexible cables.This paper solves the dynamics modeling problems of flexible cable used in the snare-type end-effector and provides a...The capture operation performed by a snare-type end-effector mainly relies on three flexible cables.This paper solves the dynamics modeling problems of flexible cable used in the snare-type end-effector and provides a contact tracking control strategy for the impact phase of snare capture.To describe the motion of flexible cable,a dynamics model is established by considering both tensile and bending resistance properties.On this basis,a virtual spring concept is introduced to represent the contact between flexible cables and the target grapple shaft,and a contact dynamics model is established approximately by polynomial function with the variables of penetration and start-end distance of flexible cable.Thereafter,a contact tracking control strategy is proposed to improve the reliability of space snare capture.The target grapple shaft and flexible cable can keep in contact at the initial contact point during the whole capture process and thus reduce the possibility of pushing the target away.Experiments are carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.展开更多

The controversy about the characteristics of the synchronized flow at bottleneck is also the main contradiction between the three-phase traffic flow theory and the traditional traffic flow theory. Under the framework of three-phase traffic flow theory, this paper takes the on-ramp as an example to discuss the traffic flow characteristics at the bottleneck section.In particular, this paper mainly conducts the micro-analysis to the effect of lane change under the two lane conditions, as well as the effect of the on-ramp on the main line traffic flow. It is found that when the main road flow is low, the greater the on-ramp inflow rate, the higher the average speed of the whole road section. As the probability of vehicles entering from the on-ramp increases, the flow and the average speed of the main road are gradually stabilized, and then the on-ramp inflow vehicles no longer have a significant impact on the traffic flow. In addition, this paper focuses on the velocity disturbance generated at the on-ramp, and proposes the corresponding on-ramp control strategy based on it, and the simulation verified that the control strategy can reasonably control the traffic flow by the on-ramp, which can meet the control strategy requirements to some extent.展开更多

Firstly, power system integration is analyzed and modeled. Then the control algorithm is given. Two fuzzy logics are used to realize the coordination control over each power unit. One controls power distribution based on the load power and battery state of charge (SOC). The other manage the power during regenerating braking. To validate the presented control strategy, a "driver and controller" in the loop simulation platform is built based on dSPACE system and real-time simulation is made. Based on the dynamic analysis of vehicle starting process and requirements of crawl driv- ing for the vehicle, a control strategy of the clutch was designed. The strategy increased the.slipping friction torque first and then decreased it, in order to realize the crawl driving. The speed increased by the engagement of the clutch, and then the clutch turned to disengage to the half disengage point, when the speed met the requirements. Based on the control strategy, a control software was de- signed. In the end, the software was tested on a vehicle with AMT. The lowest steady vehicle speed was reduced to 40% of the original value, which was set in the control strategy.展开更多

Firstly, the configuration of four-wheel independent steering prototype vehide is introduced briefly. Then the concrete overall design of the electronic controllers of four wheel independent steering system (4WIS) is formulated in details. Under the control strategy of zero sideslip angle at mass center, the mathematical model of 4WIS is established to deduce the equations of separated rear wheel steering angles. According to these equations, simulation analysis for 4WIS vehicle performances is finished to show that 4WIS vehicle can improve the maneuverability greatly at low speed and increase the handling stability at high speed. Finally, the road test of 4WIS vehide has performed to verify the correctness of simulation and show that compared with the conventional four wheel steering (4WS) vehicle, the 4WIS vehicle not only improves the kinematical harmony but also decreases steering resistance and lighten abrasion of tires.展开更多

AMTs future expectations are an increase of torque capacity, more speed ratios and the development of advanced and efficient electronic control systems. The control problem for under-actuated reentry vehicle like HTV-2 is considered with small angle of attack.The control strategy for an aircraft with positive lateral control departure parameter relies on strong latera...The control problem for under-actuated reentry vehicle like HTV-2 is considered with small angle of attack.The control strategy for an aircraft with positive lateral control departure parameter relies on strong lateral stability,which declines with the decrease of the angle of attack.Thus,to control the lateral-directional motion in a stable state is hard and even impossible in some scenarios where the under-actuated reentry vehicle,like HTV-2,flies in a low angle of attack.To address this problem,the lateral-directional open-loop motion characteristics are analyzed.The results show that in an uncontrolled state,the lateral-directional motion can automatically converge to stabilization thanks to the aerodynamic damping effect.Therefore,a method of turning-off the lateral-directional control and inviting aerodynamic damping to control can achieve stability.The six-degree-of-freedom simulation show that the lateral-directional motion can be stabilized by the aerodynamic damping,and the lateral position error caused by the bank angle deviation is limited near the zero-rise angle of attack.The control strategy is effective.展开更多

The principle and requirement of slowdriving function were analyzed. Based on analysis of slow driving characteristic,identification of slowdriving condition and fuzzy control algorithm,a control strategy of the clutch was designed. In order to realize slowdriving,the clutch was controlled in a slipping mode as manual driving. The vehicle speed was increased to a required speed and kept in a small range by engaging or disengaging the clutch to the approximate half engagement point. Based on the control strategy,a control software was designed and tested on a tracked vehicle with AMT. The test results showthat the control of the clutch with the slowdriving function was smoother than that with original systemand the vehicle speed was slower and steadier.展开更多
Based on in-mine instrumentation and theoretical analysis of the unsymmetrical large-deformation that occurred in the roadway after excavation,Differential Floor Heave(DFH)was found to be the main reason for roadway f...Based on in-mine instrumentation and theoretical analysis of the unsymmetrical large-deformation that occurred in the roadway after excavation,Differential Floor Heave(DFH)was found to be the main reason for roadway failure.It needs to be pointed out that the specific roadway was driven in inclined rock strata.In addition,the factors that contribute to the occurrence of DFH are discussed in detail.It is believed that DFH is triggered by the unsymmetrical stress distribution in the floor and the different rock types encountered near the two floor corners.Hence,DFH control should be focused on the left floor corner where shearing failure occurs initially and the left floor surface where tensile failure is more severe.The proposed DFH control strategies include unsymmetrical grouting for the whole roadway,re-design of the roof and ribs support,reinforcement of the weak zones,and release of the concentrated stress in the earlier stage.Meanwhile,it is recommended that in the later stage,both bolts and cable bolts with higher strength and the backfilling technique using the coal measure rocks and concrete should be employed in the reversed-arch floor.The field instrumentation results,after using the proposed control strategies,indicate that large deformation in a DFH roadway has been successfully controlled.展开更多

文摘In order to improve the frequency response and anti-interference characteristics of the smart electromechanical actuator(EMA)system,and aiming at the force fighting problem when multiple actuators work synchronously,a multi input multi output(MIMO)position difference cross coupling control coordinated strategy based on double‑closed-loop load feedforward control is proposed and designed.In this strategy,the singular value method of return difference matrix is used to design the parameter range that meets the requirements of system stability margin,and the sensitivity function and the H_(∞)norm theory are used to design and determine the optimal solution in the obtained parameter stability region,so that the multi actuator system has excellent synchronization,stability and anti-interference.At the same time,the mathematical model of the integrated smart EMA system is established.According to the requirements of point-to-point control,the controller of double-loop control and load feedforward compensation is determined and designed to improve the frequency response and anti-interference ability of single actuator.Finally,the 270 V high-voltage smart EMA system experimental platform is built,and the frequency response,load feedforward compensation and coordinated control experiments are carried out to verify the correctness of the position difference cross coupling control strategy and the rationality of the parameter design,so that the system can reach the servo control indexes of bandwidth 6 Hz,the maximum output force 20000 N and the synchronization error≤0.1 mm,which effectively solves the problem of force fighting.

文摘The capture operation performed by a snare-type end-effector mainly relies on three flexible cables.This paper solves the dynamics modeling problems of flexible cable used in the snare-type end-effector and provides a contact tracking control strategy for the impact phase of snare capture.To describe the motion of flexible cable,a dynamics model is established by considering both tensile and bending resistance properties.On this basis,a virtual spring concept is introduced to represent the contact between flexible cables and the target grapple shaft,and a contact dynamics model is established approximately by polynomial function with the variables of penetration and start-end distance of flexible cable.Thereafter,a contact tracking control strategy is proposed to improve the reliability of space snare capture.The target grapple shaft and flexible cable can keep in contact at the initial contact point during the whole capture process and thus reduce the possibility of pushing the target away.Experiments are carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

文摘In the three-phase traffic flow studies, the traffic flow characteristic at the bottleneck section is a hot spot in the academic field. The controversy about the characteristics of the synchronized flow at bottleneck is also the main contradiction between the three-phase traffic flow theory and the traditional traffic flow theory. Under the framework of three-phase traffic flow theory, this paper takes the on-ramp as an example to discuss the traffic flow characteristics at the bottleneck section.In particular, this paper mainly conducts the micro-analysis to the effect of lane change under the two lane conditions, as well as the effect of the on-ramp on the main line traffic flow. It is found that when the main road flow is low, the greater the on-ramp inflow rate, the higher the average speed of the whole road section. As the probability of vehicles entering from the on-ramp increases, the flow and the average speed of the main road are gradually stabilized, and then the on-ramp inflow vehicles no longer have a significant impact on the traffic flow. In addition, this paper focuses on the velocity disturbance generated at the on-ramp, and proposes the corresponding on-ramp control strategy based on it, and the simulation verified that the control strategy can reasonably control the traffic flow by the on-ramp, which can meet the control strategy requirements to some extent.
文摘Based on the analysis of ultracapacitors efficiency and vehicle driving character, three conditions restricting the ultracapacitors charge/discharge time are derived. The study focuses on ultracapacitors specific design rules decided by charge/discharge time and how to integrate with battery packs and converter through ultracapacitors'voltage and current double regulators. Through BFC6100-EV electric bus test, it is shown that the proposed method and control strategy are feasible and the system can effectively improve the bus dynamic performance and ability to receive braking energy effectively.

文摘To solve the problem of power distribution for hybrid tracked vehicles (HTV), a supervi- sory control strategy is proposed. Firstly, power system integration is analyzed and modeled. Then the control algorithm is given. Two fuzzy logics are used to realize the coordination control over each power unit. One controls power distribution based on the load power and battery state of charge (SOC). The other manage the power during regenerating braking. To validate the presented control strategy, a "driver and controller" in the loop simulation platform is built based on dSPACE system and real-time simulation is made. The simulation results show that the strategy presented can solve the power distribution problem of hybrid tracked vehicles correctly and effectively.

文摘The energy conversion optimization control strategy is presented for a family of horizontal-axis variablespeed fixed-pitch wind energy conversion systems,working in the partial load region.The system uses a variablespeed wind turbine(VSWT)driving a squirrel-cage induction generator(SCIG)connected to a grid.A new maximum power point tracking(MPPT)approach is proposed based on the extremum seeking control principles under the assumption that the wind turbine model and its parameters are poorly known.The aim is to drive the average position of the operation point close to optimality.Here the wind turbulence is used as search disturbance instead of inducing new sinusoidal search signals.The discrete Fourier transform(DFT)process of some available measures estimates the distance of operation point to optimality.The effectiveness of the proposed MPPT approach is validated under different operation conditions by numerical simulations in MATLAB/SIMULINK.The simulation results prove that the new approach can effectively suppress the vibration of system and enhance the dynamic performance of system.

文摘A fully flexure micro/nano transmission platform(MNTP)which has five degrees of freedom is designed on the basis of bridge type amplification mechanism.According to the kinematic theory and the elastic beam theory,the theoretical output displacement equation of the platform is derived,and then piezoelectric actuator(PZT)is calibrated.Meanwhile,a full closed-loop control strategy of the platform is established using the feedforward proportional-integral-derivative(PID)compound control algorithm based on the Preisach model.Moreover,the total transfer function of the micro positioning system is derived,and the calculation method of output signal is acquired.Finally,the theoretical output displacement is verified by finite element analysis(FEA)and positioning experiments.

文摘In order to move vehicles with automated mechanical transmission (AMT) a little bit of distance, such as reversing into or moving in a garage, a control strategy for crawling vehicles was proposed. Based on the dynamic analysis of vehicle starting process and requirements of crawl driv- ing for the vehicle, a control strategy of the clutch was designed. The strategy increased the.slipping friction torque first and then decreased it, in order to realize the crawl driving. The speed increased by the engagement of the clutch, and then the clutch turned to disengage to the half disengage point, when the speed met the requirements. Based on the control strategy, a control software was de- signed. In the end, the software was tested on a vehicle with AMT. The lowest steady vehicle speed was reduced to 40% of the original value, which was set in the control strategy.
文摘The enhancement of vehicle handling stability and maneuverability through active and independent rear wheels control is presented. Firstly, the configuration of four-wheel independent steering prototype vehide is introduced briefly. Then the concrete overall design of the electronic controllers of four wheel independent steering system (4WIS) is formulated in details. Under the control strategy of zero sideslip angle at mass center, the mathematical model of 4WIS is established to deduce the equations of separated rear wheel steering angles. According to these equations, simulation analysis for 4WIS vehicle performances is finished to show that 4WIS vehicle can improve the maneuverability greatly at low speed and increase the handling stability at high speed. Finally, the road test of 4WIS vehide has performed to verify the correctness of simulation and show that compared with the conventional four wheel steering (4WS) vehicle, the 4WIS vehicle not only improves the kinematical harmony but also decreases steering resistance and lighten abrasion of tires.
文摘In recent years, the sustainable development of automatic manual transmissions (AMTs) control in vehicles is conspicuous. The control applications have grown fast and steadily due to the tremendous progress in power electronics components and the control software that enhance the requirements for delivering higher vehicles performance. AMTs control strategies achieve a reduction in the driveline dynamic oscillations behavior during gear shifting and clutch starting up processes. AMTs future expectations are an increase of torque capacity, more speed ratios and the development of advanced and efficient electronic control systems. This paper concerns with the progressing view of AMTs in the past, today and future, gives an overview of the potential dynamic problems concerned with AMTs and some control strategies used to solve those problems.
文摘The structure and kinds of the fuel cell vehicle (FCV) and the mathematical model of the fuel cell processor are discussed in detail. FCV includes many parts: the fuel cell thermal and water management, fuel supply, air supply and distribution, AC motor drive, main and auxiliary power management, and overall vehicle control system. So it requires different kinds of control strategies, such as the PID method, zero-pole method, optimal control method, fuzzy control and neural network control. Along with the progress of control method, the fuel cell vehicle's stability and reliability is up-and-up. Experiment results show FCV has high energy efficiency.
文摘The control problem for under-actuated reentry vehicle like HTV-2 is considered with small angle of attack.The control strategy for an aircraft with positive lateral control departure parameter relies on strong lateral stability,which declines with the decrease of the angle of attack.Thus,to control the lateral-directional motion in a stable state is hard and even impossible in some scenarios where the under-actuated reentry vehicle,like HTV-2,flies in a low angle of attack.To address this problem,the lateral-directional open-loop motion characteristics are analyzed.The results show that in an uncontrolled state,the lateral-directional motion can automatically converge to stabilization thanks to the aerodynamic damping effect.Therefore,a method of turning-off the lateral-directional control and inviting aerodynamic damping to control can achieve stability.The six-degree-of-freedom simulation show that the lateral-directional motion can be stabilized by the aerodynamic damping,and the lateral position error caused by the bank angle deviation is limited near the zero-rise angle of attack.The control strategy is effective.

文摘In order to move tracked vehicles at an extremely slowspeed with automated mechanical transmission( AMT),slowdriving function was added in the original system. The principle and requirement of slowdriving function were analyzed. Based on analysis of slow driving characteristic,identification of slowdriving condition and fuzzy control algorithm,a control strategy of the clutch was designed. In order to realize slowdriving,the clutch was controlled in a slipping mode as manual driving. The vehicle speed was increased to a required speed and kept in a small range by engaging or disengaging the clutch to the approximate half engagement point. Based on the control strategy,a control software was designed and tested on a tracked vehicle with AMT. The test results showthat the control of the clutch with the slowdriving function was smoother than that with original systemand the vehicle speed was slower and steadier.

文摘Based on in-mine instrumentation and theoretical analysis of the unsymmetrical large-deformation that occurred in the roadway after excavation,Differential Floor Heave(DFH)was found to be the main reason for roadway failure.It needs to be pointed out that the specific roadway was driven in inclined rock strata.In addition,the factors that contribute to the occurrence of DFH are discussed in detail.It is believed that DFH is triggered by the unsymmetrical stress distribution in the floor and the different rock types encountered near the two floor corners.Hence,DFH control should be focused on the left floor corner where shearing failure occurs initially and the left floor surface where tensile failure is more severe.The proposed DFH control strategies include unsymmetrical grouting for the whole roadway,re-design of the roof and ribs support,reinforcement of the weak zones,and release of the concentrated stress in the earlier stage.Meanwhile,it is recommended that in the later stage,both bolts and cable bolts with higher strength and the backfilling technique using the coal measure rocks and concrete should be employed in the reversed-arch floor.The field instrumentation results,after using the proposed control strategies,indicate that large deformation in a DFH roadway has been successfully controlled.
