Aiming to deal with the difficult issues of terrain data model simplification and crack disposal,the paper proposed an improved level of detail(LOD)terrain rendering algorithm,in which a variation coefficient of elevation is introduced to express the undulation of topography.Then the coefficient is used to construct a node evaluation function in the terrain data model simplification step.Furthermore,an edge reduction strategy is combined with the improved restrictive quadtree segmentation to handle the crack problem.The experiment results demonstrated that the proposed method can reduce the amount of rendering triangles and enhance the rendering speed on the premise of ensuring the rendering effect compared with a traditional LOD algorithm. 展开更多

A lowtemperature coefficient( TC) bandgap reference( BGR) with novel process variation calibration technique is proposed in this paper. This proposed calibration technique compensating both TC and output value of BGR achieves fine adjustment step towards the reference voltage,while keeping optimal TC by utilizing large resistance to help layout match. The high-order curvature compensation realized by poly and p-diffusion resistors is introduced into the design to guarantee the temperature characteristic. Implemented in 180 nm technology,the proposed BGR has been simulated to have a power supply rejection ratio( PSRR) of 91 dB@100 Hz. The calibration technique covers output voltage scope of 0. 49 V-0. 56 Vwith TC of 9. 45 × 10^(-6)/℃-9. 56 × 10^(-6)/℃ over the temperature range of-40 ℃-120 ℃. The designed BGR provides a reference voltage of 500 mV,with measured TC of 10. 1 × 10^(-6)/℃. 展开更多

Slope stability prediction research is a complex non-linear system problem.In carrying out slope stability prediction work,it often encounters low accuracy of prediction models and blind data preprocessing.Based on 77 field cases,5 quantitative indicators are selected to improve the accuracy of prediction models for slope stability.These indicators include slope angle,slope height,internal friction angle,cohesion and unit weight of rock and soil.Potential data aggregation in the prediction of slope stability is analyzed and visualized based on Six-dimension reduction methods,namely principal components analysis(PCA),Kernel PCA,factor analysis(FA),independent component analysis(ICA),non-negative matrix factorization(NMF)and t-SNE(stochastic neighbor embedding).Combined with classic machine learning methods,7 prediction models for slope stability are established and their reliabilities are examined by random cross validation.Besides,the significance of each indicator in the prediction of slope stability is discussed using the coefficient of variation method.The research results show that dimension reduction is unnecessary for the data processing of prediction models established in this paper of slope stability.Random forest(RF),support vector machine(SVM)and k-nearest neighbour(KNN)achieve the best prediction accuracy,which is higher than 90%.The decision tree(DT)has better accuracy which is 86%.The most important factor influencing slope stability is slope height,while unit weight of rock and soil is the least significant.RF and SVM models have the best accuracy and superiority in slope stability prediction.The results provide a new approach toward slope stability prediction in geotechnical engineering. 展开更多

In this work,the influence of the electrode surface roughness on the self-breakdown gas switch is investigated by physical analysis,computer simulation and experiment.Cu-W electrodes of different surface roughness were tested under the conditions of a pulse repetitive frequency of50 Hz,self-breakdown voltage of~30 kV,and peak current of~2 k A for~93000 shots(the total charge transferred was~15 C).The coefficients of variation of the self-breakdown voltage of Cu-W 0.8,Cu-W 3.2 and Cu-W 12.5 electrodes were~2.95%,~1.62%and~1.16%,respectively.With the increase of electrode roughness,the erosion area decreased continuously,indicating that the breakdown positions were more stable and the coefficient of variation of breakdown voltage decreased.The method showed that decreasing the coefficient of variation of the self-breakdown voltage by increasing the surface roughness of electrode greatly improves the stability of the self-breakdown switch,which is significant for their application in compact highpower pulse power devices over a long time with stable operation. 展开更多

New LED light source system with uniform illumination for line-scan CCD imaging systems

A system with uniform light reflection in the inner surface within a horizontal 2/3 cylindrical structure for line-scan CCD of the print testing was designed. The design was based on diffuse reflection uniformity of the integrating sphere and requirement of the strip uniform illumination region. This system was called dome light. White light LED array light sources were used for uniform illumi- nation. The LEDs were filtrated to composite array light source based on coefficient of variation of a single LED. The standard white board and SG color checkers were used in the line-scan CCD imaging experiments under the dome light and ordinary illumination light source. The average color difference (AE) of SG color checkers in CIELAB space was 2. 091 under the dome light and 2. 286 under ordinary illumination light source respectively. Experimental results indicate that the dome light can satisfy illumination uniformity and color rendering consistency for line-scan CCD and provide a standard light source for uniform calibration of different cameras. 展开更多
