Exotic tree species, though widely used in forestry and restoration projects, pose great threats to local ecosystems. They need to be replaced with native species from natural forests. We hypothesized that natural forests contain large,fast-growing,dominant native tree species that are suitable for specific topographic conditions in forestry. We tested this hypothesis using data from a 50-ha forest dynamics plot in subtropical China. We classified the plot into the ridge, slope, and valley habitats and found that 34/87 species had significant associations with at least one topographic habitat. There were 90 tree species with a maximum diameter≥30 cm,and their abundances varied widely in all habitat types. In all habitat types, for most species, rate of biomass gain due to recruitment was<1%of its original biomass, and rate of biomass gain due to tree growth was between 1 and 5%of its original biomass. For most species, biomass loss due to tree mortality was not significantly different than biomass gain due to recruitment, but the resulting net biomass increment rates did not significantly differ from zero. The time required to reach a diameter of 30 cm from 1 cm diameter for Altingia chinensis in the slope habitat, for Quercus chungii and Morella rubra in the ridge habitat and for Castanopsis carlesii in all habitats could be as short as 30 years in our simulations based on actual distributions of tree growth observed in the forest.Principal component analyses of maximum diameter, abundance and net biomass increment rates suggested several species were worthy of further tests for use in forestry. Our study provides an example for screening native tree species from natural forests for forestry.Because native tree species are better for local ecosystems, our study will also contribute to biodiversity conservation in plantations. 展开更多

Plant species diversity is one of the most widely used indicators in ecosystem management. The relation of species diversity with the size of the sample plot has not been fully determined for Oriental beech forests(Fagus orientalis Lipsky),a widespread species in the Hyrcanian region.Assessing the impacts of plot size on species diversity is fundamental for an ecosystem-based approach to forest management. This study determined the relation of species diversity and plot size by investigating species richness and abundance of both canopy and forest floor. Two hundred and fifty-six sample plots of 625 m^(2) each were layout in a grid pattern across 16 ha.Base plots(25 m×25 m)were integrated in different scales to investigate the effect of plot size on species diversity. The total included nine plots of 0.063,0.125,0.188,0.250,0.375,0.500,0.563,0.750 and 1 ha.Ten biodiversity indices were calculated. The results show that species richness in the different plot sizes was less than the actual value. The estimated value of the Simpson species diversity index was not significantly different from actual values for both canopy and forest floor diversity. The coefficient of variation of this index for the 1-ha sample plot showed the lowest amount across different plot sizes.Inverse Hill species diversity was insignificant difference across different plot sizes with an area greater than 0.500 ha.The modified Hill evenness index for the 1-ha sample size was a correct estimation of the 16-ha for both canopy and forest floor;however, the precision estimation was higher for the canopy layer. All plots greater than 0.250-ha provided an accurate estimation of the Camargo evenness index for forest floor species, but was inaccurate across different plot sizes for the canopy layer. The results indicate that the same plot size did not have the same effect across species diversity measurements. Our results show that correct estimation of species diversity measurements is related to the selection of appropriate indicators and plot size to increase the accuracy of the estimate so that the cost and time of biodiversity management may be reduced. 展开更多

Quercus arkansana(Arkansas oak)is at risk of becoming endangered,as the total known population size is represented by a few isolated populations. The potential impact of climate change on this species in the near future is high, yet knowledge of its predicted effects is limited. Our study utilized the biomod2 R package to develop habi-tat suitability ensemble models based on bioclimatic and topographic environmental variables and the known loca-tions of current distribution of Q.arkansana.We predicted suitable habitats across three climate change scenarios(SSP1-2.6,SSP2-4.5,and SSP5-8.5)for 2050,2070,and 2090.Our findings reveal that the current suitable habitat for Q.arkansana is approximately 127,881 km^(2) across seven states(Texas,Arkansas,Alabama,Louisiana,Mississippi,Georgia, and Florida);approximately 9.5%is encompassed within state and federally managed protected areas. Our models predict that all current suitable habitats will disap-pear by 2050 due to climate change, resulting in a northward shift into new regions such as Tennessee and Kentucky. The large extent of suitable habitat outside protected areas sug-gests that a species-specific action plan incorporating pro-tected areas and other areas may be crucial for its conserva-tion.Moreover,protection of Q.arkansana habitat against climate change may require locally and regionally focused conservation policies, adaptive management strategies, and educational outreach among local people. 展开更多

In the context of ongoing climate change,rela-tionships between tree growth and climate present uncertain-ties,which limits the predictions of future forest dynamics.Northwest China is a region undergoing notable warming and increased precipitation;how forests in this region will respond to climate change has not been fully understood. We used dendrochronological methods to examine the rela-tionship between climate and the radial growth of four tree species in a riparian forest habitat in Altai region:European aspen(Populus tremula),bitter poplar(Populus laurifolia),Swedish birch(Betula pendula),and Siberian spruce(Picea obovata). The results reveal that European aspen was insen-sitive to climate changes. In contrast, bitter poplar showed a positive response to elevated temperatures and negative to increased moisture during the growing season.Swedish birch and Siberian spruce were adversely affected by higher temperatures but benefited from increased precipitation.A moving correlation analysis suggested that, against a back-drop of continuous warming, growth patterns of these spe-cies will diverge:European aspen will require close moni-toring,bitter poplar may likely to show accelerated growth, and the growth of Swedish birch and Siberian spruce may be inhibited, leading to a decline. These findings offer insight into the future dynamics of riparian forests under changing climate. 展开更多

Biodiversity experiments have shown that soil organic carbon(SOC)is not only a function of plant diversity, but is also closely related to the nitrogen(N)-fixing plants. However, the effect of N-fixing trees on SOC chemical stability is still little known, especially with the compounding effects of tree species diversity. An experimental field manipulation was established in subtropical plantations of southern China to explore the impacts of tree species richness(i.e.,one,two,four and six tree species)and with/without N-fixing trees on SOC chemical stability,as indicated by the ratio of easily oxidized organic carbon to SOC(EOC/SOC).Plant-derived C components in terms of hydrolysable plant lipids and lignin phenols were isolated from soils for evaluating their relative contributions to SOC chemical stability. The results showed that N-fixing tree species rather than tree species richness had a significant effect on EOC/SOC.Hydrolysable plant lipids and lignin phenols were negatively correlated with EOC/SOC,while hydrolysable plant lipids contributed more to EOC/SOC than lignin phenols, especially in the occurrence of N-fixing trees. The presence of N-fixing tree species led to an increase in soil N availability and a decrease in fungal abundance, promoting the selective retention of certain key components of hydrolysable plant lipids, thus enhancing SOC chemical stability. These findings underpin the crucial role of N-fixing trees in shaping SOC chemical stability, and therefore, preferential selection of N-fixing tree species in mixed plantations is an appropriate silvicultural strategy to improve SOC chemical stability in subtropical plantations. 展开更多

Tree allometry plays a crucial role in tree survival, stability, and timber quantity and quality of mixed-species plantations. However, the responses of tree allometry to resource utilisation within the framework of interspecific competition and complementarity remain poorly understood.Taking into consideration strong-and weakspace competition(SC and WC),as well as N_(2)-fixing and non-N_(2)-fixing tree species(FN and nFN),a mixedspecies planting trial was conducted for Betula alnoides,a pioneer tree species, which was separately mixed with Acacia melanoxylon(SC+FN),Erythrophleum fordii(WC+FN),Eucalyptus cloeziana(SC+nFN)and Pinus kesiya var.langbianensis(WC+nFN)in southern China.Six years after planting, tree growth, total nitrogen(N)and carbon(C)contents, and the natural abundances of^(15)N and^(13)C in the leaves were measured for each species, and the mycorrhizal colonisation rates of B.alnoides were investigated under each treatment.Allometric variations and their relationships with space competition and nutrient-related factors were analyzed. The results showed a consistent effect of space competition on the height-diameter relationship of B.alnoides in mixtures with FN or nFN.The tree height growth of B.alnoides was significantly promoted under high space competition, and growth in diameter at breast height(DBH),tree height and crown size were all expedited in mixtures with FN.The symbiotic relationship between ectomycorrhizal fungi and B.alnoides was significantly influenced by both space competition and N_(2) fixation by the accompanying tree species, whereas such significant effects were absent for arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi.Furthermore, high space competition significantly decreased the water use efficiency(WUE)of B.alnoides, and its N use efficiency(NUE)was much lower in the FN mixtures.Structural equation modeling further demonstrated that the stem allometry of B.alnoides was affected by its NUE and WUE via changes in its height growth, and crown allometry was influenced by the mycorrhizal symbiotic relationship. Our findings provide new insights into the mechanisms driving tree allometric responses to above-and belowground resource competition and complementarity in mixed-species plantations, which are instructive for the establishment of mixed-species plantations. 展开更多

In the temperate zone of Europe,Scots pine forests are expected to occupy the poorest habitats which are unfavourable for deciduous trees. However,as a result of deforestation of the most fertile habitats and the preference for Pinus sylvestris in silviculture, pine forests have become the dominant feature of the landscape in Central Europe. As a result, the area of optimal habitat for deciduous forest flora has been significantly reduced.Nevertheless, remnant patches of deciduous forest persist as habitat islands within extensive pine forest complexes and may serve as important refugia for meso-and eutrophilic forest species. However, the factors that contribute to the variation in species composition of such habitat islands and their role in maintaining biodiversity remain poorly understood. This paper aims to fill this knowledge gap.The studied deciduous(oak)stands exhibited a diverse vegetation, with species composition influenced by overstorey attributes, oak age, patch location, and the area and circularity of the deciduous forest.Species traits related to environmental variables included mainly preferences for closed or open forests, requirements for soil moisture, reaction, and fertility, and requirements for light conditions. The key message from our research is that oak islands are not simply patches of trees that are different from the surrounding area.Instead, they represent distinct plant communities that have developed to adapt to the prevailing environmental conditions by recruiting species with particular traits. The presence of oak islands within Scots pine monocultures is therefore important for increasing the diversity of the forest complex. The most relevant recommendation from our research for forest management is to maintain as many patches of deciduous tree stands as possible within a single pine forest complex,as even small habitat islands can make a significant contribution to the biodiversity of the forest complex. 展开更多

Polypores play a cru cial role in energy recycling and forest regeneration in forest ecosystems. The majority of them are wood degraders;some are forest pathogens and others are ectomycorrhizal symbionts. The basidiocarps provide food and shelter for many organisms, mostly invertebrates, but also some vertebrates,as well as food and medicine for humans.Despite extensive research on the species diversity and phylogenetic relationships of polypores in recent years, there remains a lack of comprehensive understanding of their distribution patterns and species composition at the large scale.Checklists of polypores from the tropical zone, including tropical Africa, tropical America, and tropical Asia, were analyzed for species diversity, distribution patterns, major taxa, and nutritional modes.A total of 1,902 polypore species was found in the three regions, representing 8 orders,46families,and 250 genera of Agaricomycetes. The orders Polyporales(especially the family Polyporaceae)and Hymenochaetales(especially the family Hymenochaetaceae)had the most prolific taxa, with their species accounting for 93.4%of the total polypores listed. Each of 1,565(or 82.3%)of the total 1,902 species were found in only one of the three regions studied, and we treat them temporarily as"regional endemic species".Only 141species were shared among all three regions, accounting for a mere 7.4%.Tropical Africa and tropical America had the greatest number of shared species and the highest S?rensen similarity index(SC)value.Tropical forests had a higher species richness compared with temperate to boreal forests of the Northern Hemisphere, and in addition, also a higher proportion of white rot polypores compared to brown rot and ectomycorrhizal species. This study outlines the distribution patterns and species diversity of polypores in the world, shedding light on their ecological significance in diverse ecosystems. 展开更多

Differences in forest attributes and carbon sequestration of each organ and layer between broadleaved and conifer forests of central and outer urban areas are not well-defined,hindering the precise management of urban forests and improvement of function. To clarify the effect of two forest types with different urbanization intensities,we determined differences in vegetation composition and diversity, structural traits, and carbon stocks of 152 plots(20 m×20 m)in urban park forests in Changchun, which had the largest green quantity and carbon density effectiveness. We found that 1.1-fold thicker and healthier trees, and 1.6-to 2.0-fold higher, healthier, denser, and more various shrubs but with sparser trees and herbs occurred in the central urban forests(p<0.05)than in the outer forests. The conifer forests exhibited 30–70%obviously higher tree aboveground carbon sequestration(including stem and leaf)and 20%bigger trees, especially in the outer forests(p<0.05).In contrast,1.1-to 1.5-fold higher branch stocks, healthier and more diverse trees were found in broadleaved forests of both the inner and outer forests(p<0.05).Plant size and dominant species had similarly important roles in carbon stock improvement, especially big-sized woody plants and Pinus tabuliformis. In addition,a higher number of deciduous or needle species positively affected the broadleaved forest of the central urban area and conifer forest of the outer urban area, respectively. These findings can be used to guide precise management and accelerate the improvement of urban carbon function in Northeast China in the future. 展开更多

Since the launch of the Google Earth Engine(GEE)cloud platform in 2010,it has been widely used, leading to a wealth of valuable information. However, the potential of GEE for forest resource management has not been fully exploited. To extract dominant woody plant species,GEE combined Sen-tinel-1(S1)and Sentinel-2(S2)data with the addition of the National Forest Resources Inventory(NFRI)and topographic data, resulting in a 10 m resolution multimodal geospatial dataset for subtropical forests in southeast China.Spectral and texture features,red-edge bands, and vegetation indices of S1 and S2 data were computed.A hierarchical model obtained information on forest distribution and area and the dominant woody plant species. The results suggest that combining data sources from the S1 winter and S2 yearly ranges enhances accuracy in forest distribution and area extraction compared to using either data source independently.Similarly, for dominant woody species recognition, using S1 winter and S2 data across all four seasons was accurate.Including terrain factors and removing spatial correlation from NFRI sample points further improved the recognition accuracy. The optimal forest extraction achieved an overall accuracy(OA)of 97.4%and a maplevel image classification efficacy(MICE)of 96.7%.OA and MICE were 83.6%and 80.7%for dominant species extraction, respectively. The high accuracy and efficacy values indicate that the hierarchical recognition model based on multimodal remote sensing data performed extremely well for extracting information about dominant woody plant species.Visualizing the results using the GEE application allows for an intuitive display of forest and species distribution, offering significant convenience for forest resource monitoring. 展开更多

Plant carbon(C)concentration is a fundamental trait for estimating C storage and nutrient utilization. However, the mechanisms of C concentration variations among different tree tissues and across species remains poorly understood. In this study,we explored the variations and determinants of C concentration of nine tissues from 216 individuals of 32 tree species, with particular attention on the effect of wood porosity(i.e.,non-porous wood,diffuse-porous wood, and ring-porous wood). The inter-tissue pattern of C concentration diverged across the three porosity types;metabolically active tissues(foliage and fine roots, except for the foliage of ring-porous species)generally had higher C levels compared with inactive wood. The poor inter-correlations between tissue C concentrations indicated a necessity of measuring tissue-and specific-C concentrations.Carbon concentration for almost all tissues generally decreased from non-porous,to diffuse-porous and to ring-porous.Tissue C was often positively correlated with tissue(foliage and wood)density and tree size, while negatively correlated with growth rate, depending on wood porosity. Our results highlight the mediating effect of type of wood porosity on the variation in tissue C among temperate species. The variations among tissues were more important than that among species. These findings provided insights on tissue C concentration variability of temperate forest species. 展开更多

The spatial distributions of different kinds of ions are usually not completely the same in the process of extracting. In order to study the reason for the different characteristics of ion extraction, a simplified simulation model of Cu+ andCr+ ions extraction process was established by 2D3V (two-dimensional in space and three- dimensional in velocity space)particle-in-cell (PIC) method. The effects of different extraction voltages from 0 V to 500 V on the density distribution ofCu+ and Cr+ ions and the change of plasma emission surface were analyzed. On the basis of this model, the ion densitydistribution characteristics of Cu+ ions mixed with Li+, Mg+, K+, Fe+, Y+, Ag+, Xe+, Au+, and Pb+ ions respectivelyunder 200-V extraction voltage are further simulated, and it is revealed that the atomic mass of the ions is the key reason fordifferent ion density distributions when different kinds of ions are mixed and extracted, which provides support for furtherunderstanding of ion extraction characteristics. 展开更多

Background: Understanding the role of species identity in interactions among individuals is crucial for assessing the productivity and stability of mixed forests over time. However, there is limited knowledge concerning the variation in competitive effect and response of different species along climatic gradients. In this study, we investigated the importance of climate, tree size, and competition on the growth of three tree species: spruce(Picea abies), fir(Abies alba), and beech(Fagus sylvatica), and examined their competitive response and effect along a climatic gradient. Methods: We selected 39 plots distributed across the European mountains with records of the position and growth of 5,759 individuals. For each target species, models relating tree growth to tree size, climate and competition were proposed. Competition was modelled using a neighbourhood competition index that considered the effects of inter-and intraspecific competition on target trees. Competitive responses and effects were related to climate.Likelihood methods and information theory were used to select the best model. Results: Our findings revealed that competition had a greater impact on target species growth than tree size or climate. Climate did influence the competitive effects of neighbouring species, but it did not affect the target species? response to competition. The strength of competitive effects varied along the gradient, contingent on the identity of the interacting species. When the target species exhibited an intermediate competitive effect relative to neighbouring species, both higher inter-than intraspecific competitive effects and competition reduction occurred along the gradient. Notably, species competitive effects were most pronounced when the target species' growth was at its peak and weakest when growing conditions were far from their maximum. Conclusions: Climate modulates the effects of competition from neighbouring trees on the target tree and not the susceptibility of the target tree to competition. The modelling approach should be useful in future research to expand our knowledge of how competition modulates forest communities across environmental gradients. 展开更多

Plasma-activated water(PAW),as an extended form of cold atmospheric-pressure plasma, greatly expands the application of plasma-based technology. The biological effects of PAW are closely related to the aqueous reactive species, which can be regulated by the activation process. In this study, surface plasma-activated air(SAA)and a He+O_(2)plasma jet(Jet)were parallelly combined(the SAA+Jet combination)or sequentially combined(the SAA→Jet combination and the Jet→SAA combination)to prepare plasma-activated saline(PAS).The PAS activated by the combinations exhibited stronger bactericidal effects than that activated by the SAA or the Jet alone. The concentrations of H_(2)O_(2)and NO_(2)^(-)were higher in the PAS activated by the Jet→SAA combination, while ONOO^(-)concentrations were close in the three kinds of PAS and^(1)O_(2)concentrations were higher in the PAS activated by the SAA+Jet combination. The analysis of scavengers also demonstrated that H_(2)O_(2),^(1)O_(2),and ONOO^(-)in the PAS activated by the SAA+Jet combination,and^(1)O_(2)in the PAS activated by the Jet→SAA combination played critical roles in bactericidal effects.Further, the effective placement time of the three PAS varied, and the PAS activated by the Jet→SAA combination could also inactivate 2.6-log_(10)of MRSA cells after placement for more than 60 min.The regulation of reactive species in plasma-activated water via different combinations of plasma devices could improve the directional application of plasma-activated water in the biomedical field. 展开更多

Understanding the physiological adaptations of non-treeline trees to environmental stress is important to understand future shifts in species composition and distribution of current treeline ecotone. The aim of the present study was to elucidate the mechanisms of the formation of the upper elevation limit of non-treeline tree species,Picea jezoensis, and the carbon allocation strategies of the species on Changbai Mountain. We employed the^(13)C in situ pulse labeling technique to trace the distribution of photosynthetically assimilated carbon in Picea jezoensis at different elevational positions(tree species at its upper elevation limit(TSAUE,1,700 m a.s.l.)under treeline ecotone;tree species at a lower elevation position(TSALE,1,400 m a.s.l.).We analyzed^(13)C and the non-structural carbohydrate(NSC)concentrations in various tissues following labeling. Our findings revealed a significant shift in carbon allocation in TSAUE compared to TSALE.There was a pronounced increase inδ^(13)C allocation to belowground components(roots, soil, soil respiration)in TSAUE compared to TSALE.Furthermore, the C flow rate within the plant-soil-atmosphere system was faster, and the C residence time in the plant was shorter in TSAUE.The trends indicate enhanced C sink activity in belowground tissues in TSAUE,with newly assimilated C being preferentially directed there, suggesting a more conservative C allocation strategy by P.jezoensis at higher elevations under harsher environments.Such a strategy, prioritizing C storage in roots, likely aids in withstanding winter cold stress at the expense of aboveground growth during the growing season, leading to reduced growth of TSAUE compared to TSALE.The results of the present study shed light on the adaptive mechanisms governing the upper elevation limits of non-treeline trees, and enhances our understanding of how non-treeline species might respond to ongoing climate change. 展开更多

Background: Knowledge of the different kinds of tree communities that currently exist can provide a baseline for assessing the ecological attributes of forests and monitoring future changes. Forest inventory data can facilitate the development of this baseline knowledge across broad extents, but they first must be classified into forest community types. Methods: Each plot had three forest community type labels: (1) "FIA" types were assigned by the FIA program using a supervised method; (2) "USNVC" types were assigned via a key based on the U.S. National Vegetation Classification; (3) "empirical" types resulted from unsupervised clustering of tree species information. We assessed the degree to which analog classes occurred among classifications, compared indicator species values, and used random forest models to determine how well the classifications could be predicted using environmental variables. Results: The classifications generated groups of classes that had broadly similar distributions, but often there was no one-to-one analog across the classifications. The Iongleaf pine forest community type stood out as the exception: it was the only class with strong analogs across all classifications. Analogs were most lacking for forest community types with species that occurred across a range of geographic and environmental conditions, such as Ioblolly pine types, indicator species metrics were generally high for the USNVC, suggesting that LJSNVC classes are floristically well-defined. The empirical classification was best predicted by environmental variables. The most important predictors differed slightly but were broadly similar across all classifications, and included slope, amount of forest in the surrounding landscape, average minimum temperature, and other climate variables. Conclusions: The classifications have similarities and differences that reflect their differing approaches and Dbjectives. They are most consistent for forest community types that occur in a relatively narrow range of Invironmental conditions, and differ most for types with wide-ranging tree species. Environmental variables at variety of scales were important for predicting all classifications, though strongest for the empirical and FIA, guggesting that each is useful for studying how forest communities respond to of multi-scale environmental processes, including global change drivers. 展开更多

Eupatorium adenophorum Spreng. was introduced in Yunnan Province of China around 1940. Since then it has been spreading rapidly, particularly in the southern and southwestern parts of China and caused serious economic loss. The biological research and inte-grated control on E. adenophorum were carried out from 1980's in Yunnan Province. Together with other 15 invasive external species, the weed has been listed in the White Paper by The State Environmental Protection Administration of China. This paper briefly reviews the studies on natural distribution, biological character, ecological character, chemical component, hazard, potential application and the control of E. adenophorum. The research direction for this invasive external species in future was also discussed. 展开更多

Totally 24 arbor tree species and 6 shrub species were measured on their absorption capacities to heavy metal Pb, Cd, Cr, and Hg by collecting and analyzing the leaves of trees along different streets in Harbin city in Sept. to Oct. of 2003. The results showed that all the measured species had certain absorbency to the pollutants (Pb, Cd, Cr and Hg), but there existed significant difference in absorption capacity for different species to different pollutants. The measured tree species were classified into three categories by their absorption quantum of heavy metal pollutants. Among the species measured,Betula platyphylla, Ulmus pumila var.pendula, andPrunus persicaf.rubro-plena had high capacity in absorbing Pb;Populus xiahei, P. nigra var.Italica, P. alba x P. berolinensis andSalix matsudana had had high capacity in absorbing Cd;Phellodendron amurense, Syringa oblata, Salix matsudana, Pinus tabulaeformis var.mukdensis, Picea koraiensis, Prunus persica f.rubro-plena, P. triloba andAcer negundo, etc. had high capacity in absorption of Cr;Prunus triloba, Quercus mongolica, Salix matsudana, Sambucus williamsii, Pyrus ussuuriensis andSpiraea fritschiana were good at absorption of Hg. This study might offer scientific foundation for selection of urban afforestation species in different polluted conditions caused by heavy metals. Selection of fire resistant tree species for the southwestern China and the planting of those species can effectively prevent large area's fire damage. In this paper the components and flammability of leaves, twigs and barks of 12 tree species in the mountain area of southwestern China have been tested and analyzed in the laboratory. The test and analysis indicate the results as follows:(1) for all the tree species, the fire resistance of leaves is much weaker than that of twigs and barks, and the broad leaves are stronger than those of conifers in fire resistance. (2) Heat value, moisture, ignition point and ash content are main indexes to affect fire resistance. Heat value relates to lignose content and benzene ethanol extractive content linearly.(3) Of all the 12 tree species, Schima superba,Castanopsis hystrix, Myrica rubra have the strongest resistance to fire; Machilus pauhoi, Michelia macclurei, Mytilaria laosensis, Camellia olifera and Manglietia tenuipes are relatively strong in fire resistance, and Lithocapus thalassica, Tsoongiodendron odorum, Cunninghamia lanceolata and Pinus massoniana are weak in fire resistance. 展开更多
