Numerical Analysis of Explosion Characteristics of Vent Gas From 18650 LiFePO_(4) Batteries With Different States of Charge

The combustion and explosion characteristics of lithium-ion battery vent gas is a key factor in determining the fire hazard of lithium-ion batteries.Investigating the combustion and explosion hazards of lithium-ion batteries vent gas can provide guidance for rescue and protection in explosion accidents in energy storage stations and new energy vehicles,thereby promoting the application and development of lithium-ion batteries.Based on this understanding and combined with previous research on gas production from lithium-ion batteries,this article conducted a study on the combustion and explosion risks of vent gas from thermal runaway of 18650 LFP batteries with different states of charge(SOCs).The explosion limit of mixed gases affected by carbon dioxide inert gas is calculated through the“elimination”method,and the Chemkin-Pro software is used to numerically simulate the laminar flame speed and adiabatic flame temperature of the battery vent gas.And the concentration of free radicals and sensitivity coefficients of major elementary reactions in the system are analyzed to comprehensively evaluate the combustion explosion hazard of battery vent gas.The study found that the 100%SOC battery has the lowest explosion limit of the vent gas.The inhibitory elementary reaction sensitivity coefficient in the reaction system is lower and the concentration of free radicals is higher.Therefore,it has the maximum laminar flame speed and adiabatic flame temperature.The combustion and explosion hazard of battery vent gas increases with the increase of SOC,and the risk of explosion is the greatest and most harmful when SOC reaches 100%.However,the related hazards decrease to varying degrees with overcharging of the battery.This article provides a feasible method for analyzing the combustion mechanism of vent gas from lithium-ion batteries,revealing the impact of SOC on the hazardousness of battery vent gas.It provides references for the safety of storage and transportation of lithium-ion batteries,safety protection of energy storage stations,and the selection of related fire extinguishing agents. 展开更多

Arching and cracking of joints between slabs have become a problem in China Railway Track System(CRTS)II slab track.The slab track is susceptible to complex temperature variations as a longitudinal continuous structure.Based on measured data,a thermal-mechanical coupling model of the track was established.The deformation characteristics and interfacial damage behavior of joints under typical temperature fields were studied.The findings indicate that the annual extreme temperature range of the slab track,fluctuates from−1.4 to 49.8℃.The annual temperature gradient within the vertical depth range of 0 to 0.2 m of the track varies between−16.19℃/m and 30.15℃/m.The vertical deformation of joints is significantly influenced by high temperatures,with a maximum measured deformation of 0.828 mm.The joint seams are primarily affected by low temperatures,which lead to a separation of 0.9 to 1.0 mm.Conversely,interlayer damage of joints is predominantly influenced by elevated temperatures.In summer,the maximum ratio of interface damage area in the joint can reach up to 95%,with the maximum debonding area ratio can be as high as 84%.The research results can provide help for joint damage regularity and deformation control of CRTS II slab track. 展开更多

In order to improve the threading stability and the head thickness precision in tandem hot rolling process, an adaptive threading strategy was proposed. The proposed strategy was realized by the rolling characteristics analysis, and factors which affect the rolling force and the final thickness were determined and analyzed based on the influence coefficients calculation process. An objective function consisting of the influenced factors was founded, and the disturbance quantity was obtained by minimizing the function with the Nelder-Mead simplex method, and the proposed adaptive threading strategy was realized based on the calculation results. The adaptive threading strategy has been applied to one 7-stand hot tandem mill successfully, actual statistics data show that the predicted rolling force prediction in the range of +/- 5.0% is improved to 97.8%, the head thickness precision in the range of +/- 35 mu m is improved to 98.5%, and the threading stability and the head thickness precision are enhanced to a high level. 展开更多

This article investigates the characteristics of shock wave overpressure generated by multi-layer composite charge under different detonation modes.Combining dimensional analysis and the explosion mechanism of the charge,a peak overpressure prediction model for the composite charge under singlepoint detonation and simultaneous detonation was established.The effects of the charge structure and initiation method on the overpressure field characteristics were investigated in AUTODYN simulation.The accuracy of the prediction model and the reliability of the numerical simulation method were subsequently verified in a series of static explosion experiments.The results reveal that the mass of the inner charge was the key factor determining the peak overpressure of the composite charge under single-point detonation.The peak overpressure in the radial direction improved apparently with an increase in the aspect ratio of the charge.The overpressure curves in the axial direction exhibited a multi-peak phenomenon,and the secondary peak overpressure even exceeded the primary peak at distances of 30D and 40D(where D is the charge diameter).The difference in peak overpressure among azimuth angles of 0-90°gradually decreased with an increase in the propagation distance of the shock wave.The coupled effect of the detonation energy of the inner and outer charge under simultaneous detonation improved the overpressure in both radial and axial directions.The difference in peak overpressure obtained from model prediction and experimental measurements was less than 16.4%. 展开更多

In this paper,a detection method combining Cameron decomposition based on polarization scattering characteristics in sea clutter background is proposed.Firstly,the Cameron decomposition is exploited to fuse the radar echoes of full polarization channels at the data level.Due to the artificial material structure on the surface of the target,it can be shown that the non-reciprocity of the target cell is stronger than that of the clutter cell.Then,based on the analysis of the decomposition results,a new feature with scattering geometry characteristics in polarization domain,denoted as Cameron polarization decomposition scattering weight(CPD-SW),is extracted as the test statistic,which can achieve more detailed descriptions of the clutter scattering characteristics utilizing the difference between their scattering types.Finally,the superiority of the proposed CPD-SW detector over traditional detectors in improving detection performance is verified by the IPIX measured dataset,which has strong stability under short-time observation in threshold detection and can also improve the separability of feature space zin anomaly detection. 展开更多

The sesame breeding works in the province were focused on the collection and the screening of the native germplasms from 1950 to 1969 and the mean values of the variety characteristics were the lowest. In 1970s,the pedigree breeding was mainly conducted,which resulted in the release of varieties of various types with better traits. During 1980s,the hybridization breeding was carried out dominantly with the varieties possessing fine traits. Since 1990,there were no better varieties released. To make new progresses,it is essential to renew the breeding method and at the same time to introduce and create special germplasms to widen the genetic background. 展开更多

A quasi-isentropic model of a cylinder driven by aluminized explosives based on characteristic line analysis

A quasi-isentropic study on the process of driving a cylinder with aluminized explosives was carried out to examine the influence of the aluminum(Al) reaction rate on cylinder expansion and the physical parameters of the detonation products. Based on the proposed quasi-isentropic hypothesis and relevant isentropic theories, the characteristic lines of aluminized explosives driving a cylinder were analyzed,and a quasi-isentropic model was established. This model includes the variation of the cylinder wall velocity and the physical parameters of the detonation products with the Al reaction degree. Using previously reported experimental results, the quasi-isentropic model was verified to be applicative and accurate. This model was used to calculate the physical parameters for cylinder experiments with aluminized cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine explosives with 15.0 % and 30.0 % Al content. The results show that this quasi-isentropic model can be used not only to calculate the cylinder expansion rule or Al reaction degree, but also to calculate the physical parameters of the detonation products in the process of cylinder expansion. For explosives with 15.0 % and 30.0 % Al, 24.3 % and 18.5 % of the Al was found to have reacted at 33.9 μs and 34.0 μs, respectively. The difference in Al content results in different reaction intensity, occurrence time, and duration of two forms of reaction(diffusion and kinetic) between the Al powder and the detonation products;the post-detonation burning reaction between the Al powder and the detonation products prolongs the positive pressure action time, resulting in a continuous rise in temperature after detonation. 展开更多

Non-pneumatic tire appears to have advantages over traditional pneumatic tire in terms of flat proof and maintenance free.A mechanical elastic wheel(MEW) with a non-pneumatic elastic outer ring which functions as air of pneumatic tire was presented.The structure of MEW was non-inflatable integrated configuration and the effect of hinges was accounted for only in tension. To establish finite element model of MEW, various nonlinear factors, such as geometrical nonlinearity, material nonlinearity and contact nonlinearity, were considered. Load characteristic test was conducted by tyre dynamic test-bed to obtain force-deflection curve. And the finite element model was validated through load characteristic test. Natural dynamic characteristics of the MEW and its influencing factors were investigated based on the finite element model. Simulation results show that the finite element model closely matched experimental wheel. The results also show that natural frequency is related to ground constraints, material properties, loads and torques. Influencing factors as above obviously affect the amplitude of mode of vibration, but have little effect on mode of vibration shape. The results can provide guidance for experiment research, structural optimization of MEW. 展开更多

Acoustic emission tests were performed using a split Hopkinson pressure bar system(SHPB) on 50-mm-diameter bars of granite, limestone, sandstone and skarn. The results show that the amplitude distribution of hits is not well centralized around 50 d B, and that some hits with large amplitudes, usually larger than 70 d B, occur in the early stages of each test, which is different from the findings from static and low-loading-rate tests. Furthermore, the dominant frequency range of the recorded acoustic emission waveforms is between 300 k Hz and 500 k Hz, and frequency components higher than 500 k Hz are not significant. The hit with the largest values of amplitude, counts, signal strength, and absolute energy in each test, displays a waveform with similar frequency characteristics and greater correlation with the waveform obtained from the elastic input bar of the split Hopkinson pressure bar system compared with the waveforms of the other hits. This indicates that the hit with the largest values of amplitude, counts, signal strength, and absolute energy is generated by elastic wave propagation instead of fracture within the rock specimen. 展开更多

Based on the thermodynamics theory and physical micro-properties of solid materials subjected to external loading at room temperature,a formula of calculating temperature difference of infrared radiation in terms of the sum of three principal strains was deduced to quantitatively investigate the infrared radiation characteristics in test. Two typical specimens,the three-point bending beam and the disc pressed in diameter,were tested and their principal strains were calculated by finite element method in order to obtain the temperature differences of infrared radiation. Numerical results are in a good agreement with test results,which verifies the validity of the formula of calculating temperature differences of infrared radiation and the model of quantitatively describing the infrared radiation characteristics of solid materials,and reveals the corresponding inner physical mechanism. 展开更多

In order to optimize the embedded system implementation for Ethernet-based computer numerical control (CNC) system, it is very necessary to establish the performance analysis model and further adopt the codesign method from the control, communication and computing perspectives. On the basis of analyzing real-time Ethemet, system architecture, time characteristic parameters of control-loop ere, a performance analysis model for real-time Ethemet-based CNC system was proposed, which is able to include the timing effects caused by the implementation platform in the simulation. The key for establishing the model is accomplished by designing the error analysis module and the controller nodes. Under the restraint of CPU resource and communication bandwidth, the experiment with a case study was conducted, and the results show that if the deadline miss ratio of data packets is 0.2%, then the percentage error is 1.105%. An innovative flat heat pipe radiator was put forward, and it has the features of high efficiency of heat dissipation, compact construction, low thermal resistance, light weight, low cost, and anti-dust-deposition. The thermal analysis of the flat heat pipe radiator for cooling high-power light emitting diode (LED) array was conducted. The thermal characteristics of the flat heat pipe radiator under the different heat loads and incline angles were investigated experimentally in natural convection. An electro-thermal conversion method was used to measure the junction temperature of the LED chips. It is found that the integral temperature distribution of the flat heat pipe radiator is reasonable and uniform. The total thermal resistance of the flat heat pipe radiator varies in the range of 0.38-0.45 K/W. The junction temperatures of LED chips with the flat heat pipe radiator and with the aluminum board at the same forward current of 0.35 A are 52.5 and 75.2 ℃, respectively. 展开更多

Three types of rock specimens, three-point bending specimen, anti-symmetric four-point bending specimen and direct shearing specimen, were used to achieve Mode I, Mode II and mixed mode I–II fracture, respectively. Microscopic characteristics of the three fracture modes of brittle rock were studied by SEM technique in order to analyze fracture behaviors and better understand fracture mechanisms of different fracture modes of brittle rock. Test results show that the microscopic characteristics of different fracture modes correspond to different fracture mechanisms. The surface of Mode I fracture has a great number of sparse and steep slip-steps with few tearing ridges and shows strong brittleness. In the surface of Mode II fracture there exist many tearing ridges and densely distributed parallel slip-steps and it is attributed to the action of shear stress. The co-action of tensile and shear stresses results in brittle cleavage planes mixed with streamline patterns and tearing ridges in the surface of mixed mode I–II fracture. The measured Mode II fracture toughness K II C and mixed mode I–II fracture toughness K mC are larger than Mode I fracture toughness K I C · K II C is about 3.5 times K I C, and KmC is about 1.2 times K I C. 展开更多

Wireless communication is easily disturbed by unfortunate factors which drive the wireless environment unstable and complicated. Therefore, it is essential to consider these factors in stability analysis of the wireless network. However, wireless channel characteristics and packets collisions are neglected in the classical fluid model. A wireless TCP fluid model (WTFM) for stability analysis of wireless network is proposed based on cross layers, which not only makes the congestion control based on random early detection (RED) available for wireless network, but also provides a more accurate model to analyze the stability of wireless system theoretically. In the proposed model, active queue management, abnormality of wireless channels and packets collisions are taken into consideration. The comparisons between evaluating results from the WTFM and the practical performance from NS2 simulations validate the accuracy of the proposed WTFM in the perspectives of delay, dropping probability, throughput, sliding window size and queue length. A set of comparisons among the proposed WTFM, the classical fluid model and the convex optimization model are conducted. 水生态保护是长三角生态绿色一体化发展示范区的重要任务,浅层地下水是水生态体系的有机组成部分。为了明晰该区域浅层地下水的化学特征及其成因机制,本研究综合运用统计分析、Gibbs图、Piper三线图、相关性分析以及主成分(因子)分析等... 水生态保护是长三角生态绿色一体化发展示范区的重要任务,浅层地下水是水生态体系的有机组成部分。为了明晰该区域浅层地下水的化学特征及其成因机制,本研究综合运用统计分析、Gibbs图、Piper三线图、相关性分析以及主成分(因子)分析等多种方法,系统地分析了长三角生态绿色一体化发展示范区—苏州市吴江区的水文地球化学过程。结果表明,研究区浅层地下水处于偏碱性环境,阴离子主要以HCO_(3)^(-)为主,阳离子以Na^(+)和Ca^(2+)为主,微承压水大部分属于微咸水和咸水,且微承压水中的NH_(4)^(+)含量高于潜水中NH_(4)^(+)含量;相关分析表明,地下水中的大多数主要离子主要受自然过程的调控,高浓度的Na^(+)、Mg^(2+)、NH_(4)^(+)有利于I-在地下水中的富集;因子分析中提取的4个因子解释了总方差的85.375%,并分别与盐度、有机物、酸碱度和硫酸盐有关,总体来说,盐度、酸碱度和硫酸盐与自然过程有关,因子2代表了人为过程,而人为过程和自然过程不能完全分开。 展开更多

淮北平原浅层地下水化学特征及水质动态研究 被引量:1

浅层地下水是淮北平原最重要的农业用水供水水源,水质状况广受关注。文章采用数理统计、舒卡列夫分类、Piper三线图和水质综合评价得出淮北平原浅层地下水化学特征及水质现状,运用Gibbs图和离子比值关系分析了水化学物质来源,应用主成... 浅层地下水是淮北平原最重要的农业用水供水水源,水质状况广受关注。文章采用数理统计、舒卡列夫分类、Piper三线图和水质综合评价得出淮北平原浅层地下水化学特征及水质现状,运用Gibbs图和离子比值关系分析了水化学物质来源,应用主成分分析法筛选影响地下水质量的典型因子并推演时空演变规律。结果表明:淮北平原浅层地下水多为弱碱性淡水,p H值6.6~8.6,溶解性总固体192~5302 mg/L,主要水化学类型共8类,主要阴离子为HCO_(3)^(-),阳离子为Na^(+)、Ca^(2+),地下水质量以Ⅳ类水为主;水岩作用主要受硅酸盐岩-碳酸盐岩岩石风化作用影响,从上游淮北平原到中游淮北平原,岩石风化溶解的水岩作用由碳酸盐岩向硅酸盐岩再向蒸发盐岩演化。通过主成分分析选取溶解性总固体、耗氧量、硝酸盐作为典型因子研究水质动态演化规律,淮北平原浅层地下水质量在2010—2021年经历了明显好转后略有下降,但典型因子的表现不尽相同;受原生地质环境影响,淮北平原浅层地下水可溶物质总量趋向于面状集中分布,高值点增多且大多分布于中游淮北平原,氧化还原条件从还原环境向氧化环境演变,2010—2018年农业活动等人为污染在上游淮北平原局部加重,但在2018年后得到明显改善。研究结果可为淮北平原浅层地下水污染防治、地下水资源保护提供支撑。 展开更多

长江中游城市群是位于我国中部的特大型城市群,在经济社会发展中发挥着重要作用。为探究变化环境下中游城市群的降雨特征和风险,对CMFD、MSWEP和CN05.1这3种降雨数据在中游城市群的适用性进行了评估,选择中国区域地面气象要素驱动数据集... 长江中游城市群是位于我国中部的特大型城市群,在经济社会发展中发挥着重要作用。为探究变化环境下中游城市群的降雨特征和风险,对CMFD、MSWEP和CN05.1这3种降雨数据在中游城市群的适用性进行了评估,选择中国区域地面气象要素驱动数据集CMFD进行降雨特征分析,同时考虑强降雨量、暴雨日数、高程、坡度、人口、土地利用对区域城市化快速发展前后暴雨灾害风险进行分析。结果表明:包括省会城市在内的高度城市化区域在过去的40 a短历时暴雨发生频率和强度增加,城市群南部强降雨量、暴雨日数存在显著增长趋势,包括江西省新余、抚州、南昌、九江等区域;随着城市化的进程,人口向中心城市聚焦,中高暴雨风险区域增加,环鄱阳湖都市圈中高风险区占比明显增加。为应对区域暴雨风险,需集成多学科多部门城市监测数据,推进高精度多尺度监测-预报-预警系统研发与应用,加强城市化对局地气候和极端降雨影响的机理研究,协调灰-绿-蓝措施以增强城市气候适应性和韧性。 展开更多
