Embedded digital clock manager(DCM) blocks and digital programmable delay circuits are employed as the basic resources to construct the field-programmable gate array(FPGA)-based DPWM implementations. Detailed schemes are illustrated and the circuits have been successfully implemented on the Artix-7 FPGA device developed by Xilinx. Experimental results show that when the basic clock operates at the frequency of 200 MHz, the resolutions of the two approaches can reach 625 ps and 500 ps, respectively. Besides,the presented schemes possess other merits including flexible resolution, strong versatility and relatively good stability.展开更多

Along with inevitab...Reaction control system(RCS) is a powerful and efficient actuator for space vehicles attitude control, which is typically characterized as a pulsed unilateral effector only with two states(off/on). Along with inevitable internal uncertainties and external disturbances in practice, this inherent nonlinear character always hinders space vehicles autopilot from pursuing precise tracking performance. Compared to most of pre-existing methodologies that passively suppress the uncertainties and disturbances, a design based on predictive functional control(PFC) and generalized extended state observer(GESO) is firstly proposed for three-axis RCS control system to actively reject that with no requirement for additional fuel consumption. To obtain a high fidelity predictive model on which the performance of PFC greatly depends, the nonlinear coupling multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) flight dynamics model is parameterized as a state-dependent coefficient form. And based on that, a MIMO PFC algorithm in state space domain for a plant of arbitrary orders is deduced in this paper.The internal uncertainties and external disturbances are lumped as a total disturbance, which is estimated and cancelled timely to further enhance the robustness. The continuous control command synthesised by above controller-rejector tandem is finally modulated by pulse width pulse frequency modulator(PWPF) to on-off signals to meet RCS requirement. The robustness and feasibility of the proposed design are validated by a series of performance comparison simulations with some prominent methods in the presence of significant perturbations and disturbances, as well as measurement noise.展开更多

The control method of proposed dimmer is pulse width control (PWM) method. Compared with the conventional phase-controlled dimmer, the proposed PWM dimmer can produce sine wave and did not cause harmonics problem. Furthermore, the proposed control method did not amplify the light flicker due to the independence of input voltage. Therefore, the PWM dimmer can be used as the dimmer of the AC LED lamp instead of the conventional phase-controlled dimmer. With the acceleration of agricultural electrification,a lot of nonlinear and shock loads appear in the rural power grid,and the resulting harmonic and reactive currents pollute the rural power grid more and more serio...With the acceleration of agricultural electrification,a lot of nonlinear and shock loads appear in the rural power grid,and the resulting harmonic and reactive currents pollute the rural power grid more and more seriously.To solve the above problem,three-level neutral point clamped(NPC)inverters have been widely used,but their development is greatly restricted by the defect of neutral point voltage imbalance.In this paper,an improved virtual space vector pulse width modulation(VSVPWM)was proposed.Firstly,the mathematical models of various space vectors were established,and the influence of various space vectors on neutral point voltage was analyzed.The sum of the vector current at the neutral point was zero and the voltage control at the neutral point was completed by.introducing the time offset into different switching times of the redundant small vector.This method was simple in design and avoided the redundant calculation of the traditional VSVPWM method and tedious switch sequence design.This balancing control strategy could greatly reduce the influence of virtual vectors on neutral point voltage and effectively control the low-frequency oscillation of neutral point voltage.The validity of the method was verified by establishing a matlab simulation model.展开更多
