Ice-going ships play a crucial role in polar transportation and resource extraction.Different from the existing modeling approach which assumes that ships remain stationary,dynamic overset grid technology and DFBI(Dyn...Ice-going ships play a crucial role in polar transportation and resource extraction.Different from the existing modeling approach which assumes that ships remain stationary,dynamic overset grid technology and DFBI(Dynamic Fluid-Body Interaction)method are employed in this paper to enable the free-running motion of the ship in modeling.A numerical model capable of simulating a ship navigating through pack ice area is proposed,which uses Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)method to solve the flow field and applies the Discrete Element Method(DEM)to simulate ship-ice and ice-ice interactions.Besides,the proposed high-precision method for generating pack ice area can be used in conjunction with the proposed numerical model.By comparing the numerical results with the available model test data and experimental observations,the effectiveness of the numerical model is validated,demonstrating its strong capability of predicting resistance and simulating ship navigation in pack ice,as well as its significant potential and applicability for further studies.展开更多
To solve the problem of risk identification and quantitative assessment for human-computer interaction(HCI)in complex avionics systems,an HCI safety analysis framework based on system-theoretical process analysis(STPA...To solve the problem of risk identification and quantitative assessment for human-computer interaction(HCI)in complex avionics systems,an HCI safety analysis framework based on system-theoretical process analysis(STPA)and cognitive reliability and error analysis method(CREAM)is proposed.STPACREAM can identify unsafe control actions and find the causal path during the interaction of avionics systems and pilot with the help of formal verification tools automatically.The common performance conditions(CPC)of avionics systems in the aviation environment is established and a quantitative analysis of human failure is carried out.Taking the head-up display(HUD)system interaction process as an example,a case analysis is carried out,the layered safety control structure and formal model of the HUD interaction process are established.For the interactive behavior“Pilots approaching with HUD”,four unsafe control actions and35 causal scenarios are identified and the impact of common performance conditions at different levels on the pilot decision model are analyzed.The results show that HUD's HCI level gradually improves as the scores of CPC increase,and the quality of crew member cooperation and time sufficiency of the task is the key to its HCI.Through case analysis,it is shown that STPACREAM can quantitatively assess the hazards in HCI and identify the key factors that impact safety.展开更多

In the practical slope engineering,the stability of lower sliding mass(region A)with back tensile cracks of the jointed rock slope attracts more attentions,but the upper rock mass(region B)may also be unstable.Therefo...In the practical slope engineering,the stability of lower sliding mass(region A)with back tensile cracks of the jointed rock slope attracts more attentions,but the upper rock mass(region B)may also be unstable.Therefore,in this study,based on the stepped failure mode of bedding jointed rock slopes,considering the influence of the upper rock mass on the lower stepped sliding mass,the improved failure model for analyzing the interaction force(F_(AB))between two regions is constructed,and the safety factors(F_(S))of two regions and whole region are derived.In addition,this paper proposes a method to determine the existence of F_(AB) using their respective acceleration values(a_(A) and a_(B))when regions A and B are unstable.The influences of key parameters on two regions and the whole region are analyzed.The results show that the variation of the F_(AB) and F_(S) of two regions can be obtained accurately based on the improved failure model.The accuracy of the improved failure model is verified by comparative analysis.The research results can explain the interaction mechanism of two regions and the natural phenomenon of slope failure caused by the development of cracks.展开更多

This paper adopt converse design thinking and presents an improved design thinking methodo logy based on C: FBS for product appearance design and give a general summarizat ion for the features, methods and technology based on human-machine interaction and interface. Meanwhile it also combines with the behavior design of product r elated IT fields and constructs a new outline to improve the design of product a ppearance supported by the technology of computer aided design. So the new metho d about design thinking for computer aided design, the new abstract product design model and the key problem of design thinking based on human-machine inte raction and interface are addressed in this paper. This kind of creative design theory that is driven by human-machine interaction and interface will help the development of CAD software system and the research of product design and manufa cture. A new method for interaction recognition based on sparse representation of feature covariance matrices was presented.Firstly,the dense trajectories(DT)extracted from the video were clustered into different groups to e...A new method for interaction recognition based on sparse representation of feature covariance matrices was presented.Firstly,the dense trajectories(DT)extracted from the video were clustered into different groups to eliminate the irrelevant trajectories,which could greatly reduce the noise influence on feature extraction.Then,the trajectory tunnels were characterized by means of feature covariance matrices.In this way,the discriminative descriptors could be extracted,which was also an effective solution to the problem that the description of the feature second-order statistics is insufficient.After that,an over-complete dictionary was learned with the descriptors and all the descriptors were encoded using sparse coding(SC).Classification was achieved using multiple instance learning(MIL),which was more suitable for complex environments.The proposed method was tested and evaluated on the WEB Interaction dataset and the UT interaction dataset.The experimental results demonstrated the superior efficiency.展开更多

Human-object interaction(HOIs)detection is a new branch of visual relationship detection,which plays an important role in the field of image understanding.Because of the complexity and diversity of image content,the d...Human-object interaction(HOIs)detection is a new branch of visual relationship detection,which plays an important role in the field of image understanding.Because of the complexity and diversity of image content,the detection of HOIs is still an onerous challenge.Unlike most of the current works for HOIs detection which only rely on the pairwise information of a human and an object,we propose a graph-based HOIs detection method that models context and global structure information.Firstly,to better utilize the relations between humans and objects,the detected humans and objects are regarded as nodes to construct a fully connected undirected graph,and the graph is pruned to obtain an HOI graph that only preserving the edges connecting human and object nodes.Then,in order to obtain more robust features of human and object nodes,two different attention-based feature extraction networks are proposed,which model global and local contexts respectively.Finally,the graph attention network is introduced to pass messages between different nodes in the HOI graph iteratively,and detect the potential HOIs.Experiments on V-COCO and HICO-DET datasets verify the effectiveness of the proposed method,and show that it is superior to many existing methods.展开更多
Inducing the classic strong metal-support interaction(SMSI)is an effective approach to enhance the performance of supported metal catalysts by encapsulating the metal nanoparticles(NPs)with supports.Conventional therm...Inducing the classic strong metal-support interaction(SMSI)is an effective approach to enhance the performance of supported metal catalysts by encapsulating the metal nanoparticles(NPs)with supports.Conventional thermal reduction method for inducing SMSI processes is often accompanied by undesirable structural evolution of metal NPs.In this study,a mild electrochemical method has been developed as a new approach to induce SMSI,using the cable structured core@shell CNT@SnO_(2) loaded Pt NPs as a proof of concept.The induced SnO_(x) encapsulation layer on the surface of Pt NPs can protect Pt NPs from the poisoned of CO impurity in hydrogen oxidation reaction(HOR),and the HOR current density could still maintain 85% for 2000 s with 10,000 ppm CO in H_(2),while the commercial Pt/C is completely inactivated.In addition,the electrons transfer from SnO_(x) to Pt NPs improved the HOR activity of the E-Pt-CNT@SnO_(2),achieving the excellent exchange current density of 1.55 A·mgPt^(-1).In situ Raman spectra and theoretical calculations show that the key to the electrochemical-method-induced SMSI is the formation of defects and the migration of SnO_(x) caused by the electrochemical redox operation,and the weakening the SneO bond strength by Pt NPs.展开更多

文摘Human-object interaction(HOIs)detection is a new branch of visual relationship detection,which plays an important role in the field of image understanding.Because of the complexity and diversity of image content,the detection of HOIs is still an onerous challenge.Unlike most of the current works for HOIs detection which only rely on the pairwise information of a human and an object,we propose a graph-based HOIs detection method that models context and global structure information.Firstly,to better utilize the relations between humans and objects,the detected humans and objects are regarded as nodes to construct a fully connected undirected graph,and the graph is pruned to obtain an HOI graph that only preserving the edges connecting human and object nodes.Then,in order to obtain more robust features of human and object nodes,two different attention-based feature extraction networks are proposed,which model global and local contexts respectively.Finally,the graph attention network is introduced to pass messages between different nodes in the HOI graph iteratively,and detect the potential HOIs.Experiments on V-COCO and HICO-DET datasets verify the effectiveness of the proposed method,and show that it is superior to many existing methods.

文摘Inducing the classic strong metal-support interaction(SMSI)is an effective approach to enhance the performance of supported metal catalysts by encapsulating the metal nanoparticles(NPs)with supports.Conventional thermal reduction method for inducing SMSI processes is often accompanied by undesirable structural evolution of metal NPs.In this study,a mild electrochemical method has been developed as a new approach to induce SMSI,using the cable structured core@shell CNT@SnO_(2) loaded Pt NPs as a proof of concept.The induced SnO_(x) encapsulation layer on the surface of Pt NPs can protect Pt NPs from the poisoned of CO impurity in hydrogen oxidation reaction(HOR),and the HOR current density could still maintain 85% for 2000 s with 10,000 ppm CO in H_(2),while the commercial Pt/C is completely inactivated.In addition,the electrons transfer from SnO_(x) to Pt NPs improved the HOR activity of the E-Pt-CNT@SnO_(2),achieving the excellent exchange current density of 1.55 A·mgPt^(-1).In situ Raman spectra and theoretical calculations show that the key to the electrochemical-method-induced SMSI is the formation of defects and the migration of SnO_(x) caused by the electrochemical redox operation,and the weakening the SneO bond strength by Pt NPs.
