Microarc oxidation is an effective surface treatment for improving certain properties of metals and their alloys.In this paper,TiO_(2)/Cu_(2)O and TiO_(2)/Cu_(2)O@CeO_(2)coatings were prepared on Ti-6Al-4V by microarc oxidation.Thecoatings exhibited good corrosion resistance and antimicrobial properties.X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electronmicroscopy(SEM),and 3D laser confocal were used to characterize the coatings.The properties of TiO_(2)/Cu_(2)O and TiO_(2)/Cu_(2)O@CeO_(2)coatings were analyzed,including microstructure,surface roughness,corrosion resistance,andantimicrobial properties.The electrochemical results showed that the coatings prepared by microarc oxidation hadenhanced corrosion resistance compared to the substrate.The antibacterial properties of TiO_(2)/Cu_(2)O and TiO_(2)/Cu_(2)O@CeO_(2)coating against Pseudomonas aeruginosa were evaluated by fluorescence microscopy and plate counting.The antibacterial rate of TiO_(2)/Cu_(2)O@CeO_(2)coating was up to 99.70%.In summary,the TiO_(2)/Cu_(2)O and TiO_(2)/Cu_(2)O@CeO_(2)coatings prepared by microarc oxidation have a potential application background in the field of marine corrosionprotection and biofouling. 展开更多

A novel design of micro-aluminum(μAl)powder coated with bi-/tri-component alloy layer,such as:Ni-P and Ni-P-Cu(namely,Al@Ni-P,Al@Ni-P-Cu,respectively),as combustion catalysts,were introduced to release its huge energy inside Al-core and promote rapid pyrolysis of ammonium perchlorate(AP)at a lower temperature in aluminized propellants.The microstructure of Al@Ni-P-Cu demonstrates that a three-layer Ni-P-Cu shell,with the thickness of~100 nm,is uniformly supported byμAl carrier(fuel unit),which has an amorphous surface with a thickness of~2.3 nm(catalytic unit).The peak temperature of AP with the addition of Al@Ni-P-Cu(3.5%)could significantly drop to 316.2℃ at high-temperature thermal decomposition,reduced by 124.3℃,in comparison to that of pure AP with 440.5℃.It illustrated that the introduction of Al@Ni-P-Cu could weaken or even eliminate the obstacle of AP pyrolysis due to its reduction of activation energy with 118.28 kJ/mol.The laser ignition results showed that the ignition delay time of Al@Ni-P-Cu/AP mixture with 78 ms in air is shorter than that of Al@Ni-P/AP(118 ms),decreased by 33.90%.Those astonishing breakthroughs were attributed to the synergistic effects of adequate active sites on amorphous surface and oxidation exothermic reactions(7597.7 J/g)of Al@Ni-P-Cu,resulting in accelerated mass and/or heat transfer rate to catalyze AP pyrolysis and combustion.Moreover,it is believed to provide an alternative Al-based combustion catalyst for propellant designer,to promote the development the propellants toward a higher energy. 展开更多

In order to improve the hot corrosion resistance of DZ125 alloy,Ce-Y modified aluminum coatings were prepared on DZ125 alloy by pack cementation process at 950°C for 2 h.The microstructure,phase constitution and formation mechanism of the coatings were investigated.The hot corrosion behaviors of DZ125 alloy and the coatings in molten salt environment of 25%K2SO4+75%Na2SO4(mass fraction)at 900°C were studied.Results show that the obtained Al-Ce-Y coatings were mainly composed of Al3Ni2,Al3Ni and Cr7Ni3,with a thickness of about 120μm.After hot corrosion test,DZ125 alloy suffered catastrophic hot corrosion and serious internal oxidation and internal sulfidation arose.Two layers of corrosion products formed on surfaces of DZ125 alloy,including the outer layer consisting of Cr2O3 and NiCr2O4,and the inner layer of Al2O3,Ni3S2 and Ni-base solid solution.After being coated with Al-Ce-Y coating,the hot corrosion resistance of DZ125 alloy is improved notably,due to the formation of a dense scale mainly consisting of Al-rich Al2O3 in the coating layer. 展开更多

The process of preparing anodic oxide film containing active sites and electroless nickel plating on highly active rare earth magnesium alloy was developed.The formation mechanism of electroless nickel plating on active anodic oxide film and the structure and properties of the composite coating were studied by several surface and electrochemical techniques.The results showed that Ag nanograins with an average size of 10 nm were embedded into the anodic oxide film with pores of 0.1−2μm.Ag nanoparticles provided a catalytic site for the deposition of Ni-B alloy,and the Ni crystal nucleus was first grown in horizontal mode and then in cylindrical mode.The corrosion potential of the composite coating increased by 1.37 V and the corrosion current reduced two orders of magnitude due to the subsequent deposition of Ni-P alloy.The high corrosion resistance was attributed to the misaligning of these micro defects in the three different layers and the amorphous structure of the Ni-P alloy in the outer layer.These findings provide a new idea for electroless nickel plating on anodic oxide film. 展开更多

Single coating is insufficient to produce the desired combination of surface properties. These problems can be solved through the duplex coatings. The aim of the present study is to overview the research advances on processes of duplex coatings on (aluminum) alloys combined with micro plasma oxidation process and with other modern processes such as physical vapour deposition and plasma assisted chemical vapour deposition and also to evaluate the performance of micro plasma oxidation coatings in improving the load-bearing, friction and wear resistance properties of aluminum alloys in comparison with other coatings. Ti-X-N (X=Al,Si or Al+Si) coatings were grown onto cemented carbide substrates by cathodic arc evaporation. The hardness of the coatings was obtained by nanoindentation and the microstructure was investigated by XRD,XPS and SEM. Solid solution hardening results in a hardness increase from 24 GPa for TiN to 31.2 GPa for TiAlN. The higher hardness values of 36.7 GPa for TiSiN and 42.4 GPa for TiAlSiN are obtained by the incorporation of Si into TiN (TiAlN) coatings due to the formation of special three-dimensional net structure consisting of nanocrystalline (nc) TiN (TiAlN) encapsulated in an amorphous (a) Si3N4 matrix phase. Furthermore,the nc-TiAlN/a-Si3N4 coating shows the best machining performance. 展开更多

In order to obtain a high-performance surface on TiAl alloy that can meet the requirements in hot corrosion environment,Si-Al-Y coatings were fabricated by pack cementation process at 1050℃for 4 h.Corrosion behaviors of the TiAl alloy with and without Si-Al-Y coatings are compared to illustrate the factors and corresponding mechanism in molten salt environment of 25 wt%K2SO4 and 75 wt%Na2SO4 at 900°C.The obtained Si-Al-Y coating was mainly composed of a TiSi2 outer layer,a(Ti,X)5Si4 and(Ti,X)5Si3(X represents Nb or Cr element)middle layer,a TiAl2 inner layer and a Al-rich inter-diffusion zone.The inter-phase selective corrosion containing corrosion pits extending alongα2 phase from lamellar interfaces in hot corrosion tested TiAl alloy was observed.However,by being coated with Si-Al-Y coating,the hot corrosion performance of TiAl alloy was improved remarkably. 展开更多

The thermal barrier coatings with NiCrAlY alloy bonding layer, NiCrAlY Y 2O 3 stabilized ZrO 2 transition layer and Y 2O 3 stabilized ZrO 2 ceramic layer are prepared on nickel alloy substrates using the plasma spray technique. The relationship among the composition, structure and property of the coatings are investiga ted by means of optical microscope, scanning electronic microscope and the experiments of thermal shock resistance cycling and high temperature oxidation resistance. The results show that the structure design of introdu cing a transition layer between Ni alloy substrate and ZrO 2 ceramic coating guarantees the high quality and properties of the coatings; ZrO 2 coatings doped with a little SiO 2 possesses better thermal shock resistance and more excellent hot corrosion resistance as compared with ZrO 2 coating materials without SiO 2 ;the improvement in performance of ZrO 2 coating doped with SiO 2 is due to forming more dense coating structure by self closing effects of the flaws and pores in the ZrO 2 coatings. 展开更多

Ni-Co-Fe2O3 composite coatings were electrodeposited using cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB)-modified Watt's nickel bath with Fe2O3 particles dispersed in it.The effects of the plating parameters on the chemical composition,structural and morphological characteristics of the electrodeposited Ni-Co-Fe2O3 composite coatings were investigated by energy dispersive X-ray(EDS) spectroscopy,X-ray diffractometry(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The results reveal that Fe2O3 particles can be codeposited in the Ni-Co matrix.The codeposition of Fe2O3 particles with Ni-Co is favoured at high Fe2O3 particle concentration and medium stirring,and the deposition of Co is favoured at high concentration of CTAB.Moreover,the study of the textural perfection of the deposits reveals that the presence of particles leads to the worsening of the quality of the observed <220> preferred orientation.Composites with high concentration of embedded particles exhibit a preferred crystal orientation of <111>.The more the embedded Fe2O3 particles in the metallic matrix,the smaller the sizes of the crystallite for the composite deposits. 展开更多

采用激光熔覆工艺在45钢基材表面对Fe_(60)Nb_(15)Ti_(15)Ta_(10)非晶合金粉末进行不同激光功率的熔覆试验。利用X射线衍射仪(XRD)、扫描电镜(SEM)、维氏硬度计、电化学工作站对涂层的物相组成、微观组织形貌、显微硬度和耐腐蚀性能进... 采用激光熔覆工艺在45钢基材表面对Fe_(60)Nb_(15)Ti_(15)Ta_(10)非晶合金粉末进行不同激光功率的熔覆试验。利用X射线衍射仪(XRD)、扫描电镜(SEM)、维氏硬度计、电化学工作站对涂层的物相组成、微观组织形貌、显微硬度和耐腐蚀性能进行研究。结果表明,涂层与基材呈良好的冶金结合,无明显的裂纹和孔洞等缺陷。随着激光功率的增加,涂层的稀释率增加,涂层的显微组织由非晶+等轴晶转变为非晶+网状晶和颗粒状晶,直至完全胞状晶。当激光功率为1000 W时,涂层具有最高的显微硬度为873 HV,约为基体材料的3.8倍,涂层耐腐蚀性能也明显优于基材。 展开更多

镁合金因其优良的性能在工业和生物医用等领域表现出巨大的应用潜力。然而,镁合金在空气与潮湿环境中极易被腐蚀,限制了其广泛应用。通过在镁合金基体表面构建纳米粗糙结构,并使用低表面能物质修饰,以形成超疏水涂层,可有效防止其在空... 镁合金因其优良的性能在工业和生物医用等领域表现出巨大的应用潜力。然而,镁合金在空气与潮湿环境中极易被腐蚀,限制了其广泛应用。通过在镁合金基体表面构建纳米粗糙结构,并使用低表面能物质修饰,以形成超疏水涂层,可有效防止其在空气与潮湿环境中被腐蚀。本文首先对固体表面润湿性理论进行简要介绍,随后综述近年来镁合金表面超疏水涂层的制备方法,包括蚀刻法、水热法、微弧氧化法、电沉积法、浸渍法等,分析各方法通过不同的实验条件所获得的超疏水涂层结构和性能的差异,并介绍了超疏水涂层的发展趋势。最后指出目前超疏水涂层在实际应用中存在的问题,并对未来镁合金表面超疏水涂层的发展方向进行展望。 展开更多

在发动机曲轴轴颈表面制备铁基合金镀层时,镀层与曲轴基体表面的结合强度是制约镀层发挥其性能的关键因素。在电镀初始阶段,曲轴基体表面是否得到有效均匀活化是影响镀层与基体结合强度的关键因素。铁基镍钴合金镀铁液中,NiCl_(2)·... 在发动机曲轴轴颈表面制备铁基合金镀层时,镀层与曲轴基体表面的结合强度是制约镀层发挥其性能的关键因素。在电镀初始阶段,曲轴基体表面是否得到有效均匀活化是影响镀层与基体结合强度的关键因素。铁基镍钴合金镀铁液中,NiCl_(2)·6H_(2)O和CoCl_(2)·6H_(2)O浓度分别为80 g/L及30 g/L,镀液相对质量密度1.22~1.23,镀液温度40℃~50℃,镀液pH值0.6~0.7。在保持阴阳极面积匹配、电极距离和活化时间等工艺规范相同的条件下,通过调整正负向电压和电流密度进行电化学活化处理,对采用不同电压差和电流密度进行活化后的轴颈表面状态及制备的镀层金相进行了对比、研究。结果表明:保持正向电压5 V,正向电压比负向电压高出0.2 V,电流密度取5 A/dm^(2)时,活化处理3 min,基体表面可实现有效均匀活化,活化处理后制备的镀层与基体界面无缺陷,获得了高结合强度的沉积层。 展开更多

Q345钢表面激光熔覆高熵合金涂层及其耐蚀耐磨性能研究

为了提升Q345钢的表面耐蚀性和耐磨性,采用激光熔覆的方法在Q345钢基体表面制备了不同x值的AlCoCrFeNiMo_(x)(TiC)_(1.6–x)(x=0、0.4、0.8、1.2和1.6)高熵合金涂层。研究了不同x值时激光熔覆涂层的物相组成、显微形貌、硬度、耐蚀性和... 为了提升Q345钢的表面耐蚀性和耐磨性,采用激光熔覆的方法在Q345钢基体表面制备了不同x值的AlCoCrFeNiMo_(x)(TiC)_(1.6–x)(x=0、0.4、0.8、1.2和1.6)高熵合金涂层。研究了不同x值时激光熔覆涂层的物相组成、显微形貌、硬度、耐蚀性和耐磨性能。结果表明:x值会对激光熔覆涂层的物相组成和显微形貌造成明显影响,x=0.8时激光熔覆涂层中Al_(2)O_(3)相和TiC相细小且分布均匀,x=1.2时激光熔覆涂层中会出现σ(Fe_(3)Mo)相。Q345钢基体表面激光熔覆涂层的硬度明显高于Q345钢基体,x=1.2时激光熔覆涂层的平均显微硬度最大(1167.6 HV);摩擦系数、磨痕宽度-深度和磨损率的测试结果表明x=0.8时激光熔覆涂层具有最小的平均摩擦系数、磨痕深度和磨损率。极化曲线和电化学阻抗谱的测试结果保持一致,即激光熔覆涂层的耐蚀性从高至低顺序为:x=0.8>x=1.2>x=0.4>x=0>x=1.6>基体,激光熔覆涂层的耐蚀性都优于Q345钢基体。x=0.8时Q345钢基体表面激光熔覆涂层具有最佳的耐蚀性和耐磨性。 展开更多

凭借优异的力学性能、较高的材料强度以及出色的耐腐蚀性和良好的生物相容性,钛合金材料广泛应用于航空航天、生物医疗等关键领域。然而,由于钛合金材料的摩擦因数高、摩擦因数不稳定、耐磨性差、化学活性高等缺点,严重影响了其使用性... 凭借优异的力学性能、较高的材料强度以及出色的耐腐蚀性和良好的生物相容性,钛合金材料广泛应用于航空航天、生物医疗等关键领域。然而,由于钛合金材料的摩擦因数高、摩擦因数不稳定、耐磨性差、化学活性高等缺点,严重影响了其使用性能、服役寿命和应用范围。近年来,凭借在减少实际接触面积、储存磨损碎屑等方面的优势,表面织构技术被证实是改善摩擦副之间摩擦学性能的有效方法,也是机械工程和摩擦学领域的研究热点之一。总结了表面微织构的制备方法和常用的微织构类型,概述了微织构对表面摩擦学的减摩机理。论述了表面织构的类型、织构密度、结构参数、排列角度等因素对钛合金表面摩擦学性能的影响。综述了表面织构技术与固液润滑剂、涂层技术、热扩渗技术等协同作用下钛合金的摩擦学性能研究现状。相对于未处理和单一织构处理的钛合金表面,复合处理技术能够显著提高钛合金的表面耐磨性能,延长钛合金表面织构的使用寿命。最后,对基于表面微织构及其复合处理技术的钛合金摩擦学性能的研究进行总结和展望,提出应该开展在极端工况下复合处理后钛合金表面摩擦学性能的研究。为基于表面微织构的钛合金摩擦学性能的研究提供了参考。 展开更多

新一代火炮对射程、初速和穿透能力要求的提高,增加了火炮身管内壁的磨损和烧蚀。为了适应未来火炮的发展需求,需要开发能够承受恶劣内弹道环境的火炮身管材料。本文回顾了身管材料的发展历程,分析了影响身管寿命的热因素、化学因素、... 新一代火炮对射程、初速和穿透能力要求的提高,增加了火炮身管内壁的磨损和烧蚀。为了适应未来火炮的发展需求,需要开发能够承受恶劣内弹道环境的火炮身管材料。本文回顾了身管材料的发展历程,分析了影响身管寿命的热因素、化学因素、机械因素,归纳出了身管涂层的延寿措施。在材料选用方面,身管涂层材料除了已经在使用的铬以外,难熔金属钽和铬钽合金被认为是主要的候选材料。还归纳总结了Cr、Ta及其合金涂层的制备技术,包括电镀、多弧离子镀、激光淬火、激光熔覆、磁控溅射、熔盐电化学沉积、电火花沉积、爆炸包覆焊、双层辉光等离子技术等。本文为延长身管寿命、探索新型炮钢身管涂层材料及其制备技术提供了参考和借鉴。 展开更多
