Methods Ten left ventricular (LV) wall phantoms made of two rubber-bursas, ten excised canine hearts underwent RT3DE and two-dimensional echocardiography (2DE). In RT3DE "full volume" imaging, the myocardial volume was mea-sured using 2,4,8, and 16-plane method with the analysis software of RT3DE. Mass was then calculated by multiplying the resulting myocardial volume by specific density of myocardial tissue. In 2DE the masses were measured by area-length meth-od. The true LV wall phantom mass was measured by water displacement and the canine LVM was weighed by anatomy, which served as a reference standard. We compared RT3DE or 2DE with true mass. Results In LV wall phantoms, RT3DE correlated with true masses strongly (r = 0.813-0.994) and weakly correlated between 2DE and true masses (r = 0.628). In excised canine hearts, there is an excellent correlation between RT3DE and true masses (r = 0.764-0.991), while 2DE value showed a lesser correlation (r = 0.514). There are no difference between RT-3DE and true masses (P > 0.05) but different between 2DE and true masses (P < 0.05). In different planes, there was no difference between 8-plane and 16-plane (P > 0.05) but different between 8-plane and 2, 4-plane (P < 0.05). Conclusion RT3DE can accurately quantify LVM and provide a new tool to evaluate LV function. For LVM by RT3DE, 8-plane measurement method is the best choice for accuracy and convenience.展开更多

Methods RT3DE was performed in 21 open-chest mongrel dogs undergoing acute ligation of the left anterior descending artery (LAD, n=14) or distal branch of the left circumflex artery (LCX, n=7). A perfluorocarbon microbubble contrast agent was injected intravenously to assess the resulting myocardial perfusion defects with Philips Sonos-7500 ultrasound system. Evans blue dye was injected into the occluded coronary artery for subsequent anatomic identification of underperfused myocardium. In vitro anatomic measurement of myocardial mass after removal of the animal’s heart was regarded as the control. Blinded off-line calculation of left ventricular mass and perfusion defect mass from RT3DE images were performed using an interactive aided-manual tracing technique. Results Total left ventricular (LV) myocardial mass ranged from 38.9 to 78.5 (mean±SD: 60.0±10.1) g. The mass of perfusion defect ranged from 0 to 21.4 (mean±SD: 12.0±5.0) g or 0 to 27% of total LV mass (mean±SD: 19%±6%). The RT3DE estimation of total LV mass (mean±SD: 59.8±9.9 g) strongly correlated with the anatomic measurement (r=0.98; y=2.01+0.96x). The CE-RT3DE calculation of the mass of underperfused myocardium (mean±SD: 12.3±5.3 g) also strongly correlated with the anatomic measurement (r=0.96; y=-0.10+1.04x) and when expressed as percentage of total LV mass (r=0.95; y=-0.20+1.04x). Conclusions RT3DE with myocardial contrast opacification could accurately estimate underperfused myocardial mass in dogs of acute coronary occlusion and would play an important role in quantitative assessment of myocardial perfusion defects in patients with coronary artery disease.展开更多

Methods Sixty-five patients with HCM in sinus rhythm together with fifty age- and gender-matched normal controls were studied by two dimensional echocardiography (2DE) and RT-3DE. The parameters analyzed by RT-3DE included: left ventrieular (LV) volumes, left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), end diastolic sphericity index (EDSI), diastolic dyssynchrony index (DDI), dispersion end diastole (DISPED), and normalized 17 segmental volume-time curves. Results Evaluated by RT-3DE, LVEF was slightly lower compared with 2DE (63.2 ± 6.8% vs. 59.1 ± 6.4%, P 〈 0.0001). Normal subjects had relatively uniform volumetric curves for all LV segments. In HCM patients, the segmental volumetric curves were dyssynchronous. Increased DDI and DISPED in end diastole were observed in patients with HCM (9.95 ± 3.75, 41.76 ± 17.19, P 〈 0.0001), and not all abnormal volumetric segments occurred in the hypertrophic regions. Conclusions Patients with HCM have presented regional diastolic dyssynchrony in the diastole phase, and this preclinical lesion can be recognized by single-beat RT-3DE.展开更多

We build a three-dimensional imaging system with the photonically generated incoherent noise source and the Schottky barrier diode detector in the terahertz frequency band (90–140GHz). Based on the computed tomography technique, the three-dimensional image of a ceramic sample is reconstructed successfully by stacking the slices at different heights. The imaging results not only indicate the ability of terahertz wave in the non-invasive sensing and non-destructive inspection applications, but also prove the effectiveness and superiority of the uni-traveling-carrier photodiode as a terahertz source in the imaging applications.展开更多

By modifying the Mach-Zehnder interferometer, the interference of the multiple objects beams and the one reference beam is used to simultaneously encrypt multiple objects into a ciphertext. During decryption, each three-dimensional object can be decrypted independently without having to decrypt other objects. Since the single- pixel digital holography based on compressive sensing theory is introduced, the encrypted data of this method is effectively reduced. In addition, recording fewer encrypted data can greatly reduce the bandwidth of network transmission. Moreover, the compressive sensing essentially serves as a secret key that makes an intruder attack invalid, which means that the system is more secure than the conventional encryption method. Simulation results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method and show that the system has good security performance.展开更多

By removing the collecting lens(CL)before the detector, the FoV is expanded to ±10°. Thanks to the high detection efficiency, the signal-to-noise ratio of the imaging system is as high as 7.8 dB even without the CL when the average output laser pulse energy is about 0.45 pJ/pulse for imaging the targets at a distance of 5 m. A 3 D image overlaid with the reflectivity data is obtained according to the photon-counting time-of-flight measurement and the return photon intensity.展开更多

Using DEFORM software, the finite element simulation models for the punching and forming process of cartridge cases are established, and the corresponding simulation result model of each intermediate procedure is obtained by continuously performing the forming process simulation. The simulation model cannot annotate size and process information due to poor interface between DEFORM software and CAD software. Thus,a 3D annotation module is developed with secondary development technology of UG NX software. Consequently, the final process model with dimension and process information is obtained. Then, with the current 3D process management system, the 3D punching and forming process design of cartridge cases can be completed further. An example is also provided to illustrate that the relative error between the simulation process model and the physical model is less than 2%,which proves the validity and reliability of the proposed method in this study.展开更多

The architecture of confusion and diffusion is adopted. Firstly, the plain image is converted into a 3D bit matrix and split into sub blocks. Secondly, block confusion based on 3D Brownian motion(BCB3DBM)is proposed to permute the position of the bits within the sub blocks, and the direction of particle movement is generated by logistic-tent system(LTS). Furthermore, block confusion based on position sequence group(BCBPSG) is introduced, a four-order memristive chaotic system is utilized to give random chaotic sequences, and the chaotic sequences are sorted and a position sequence group is chosen based on the plain image, then the sub blocks are confused. The proposed confusion strategy can change the positions of the bits and modify their weights, and effectively improve the statistical performance of the algorithm. Finally, a pixel level confusion is employed to enhance the encryption effect. The initial values and parameters of chaotic systems are produced by the SHA 256 hash function of the plain image. Simulation results and security analyses illustrate that our algorithm has excellent encryption performance in terms of security and speed.展开更多

However, the serious restacking and aggregation of the 2D nanosheets are still hampering their applications. To circumvent the issues of 2D nanosheets, one efficient strategy is to construct 3D structures with hierarchical porous structures, good chemical/mechanical stabilities and tunable electrical conductivities. In this review, we firstly focus on the available synthetic approaches of 3D structures from 2D nanosheets, and then summarize the relationships between the microstructures of 3D structures built from 2D nanosheets and their electrochemical behaviors for lithium storage. On the basis of above results, some challenges are briefly discussed in the perspective of the development of various functional 3D structures.展开更多

In principle, this model is a one-way model, and hence provides satisfactory accuracy for problems where the forward scattering dominates. At the same time, this model provides an efficiency gain of an order of magnitude or more over two-way coupled-mode models. This model can be applied to three-dimensional range-dependent problems with a slowly varying bathymetry or internal waves. A numerical example of the latter is demonstrated in this work. Comparisons of both accuracy and efficiency between the present model and a benchmark model are also provided.展开更多

文摘In this work, based on the role of pre-ionization of the non-uniform electric field and its effect of reducing the collisional ionization coefficient,a diffuse dielectric barrier discharge plasma is formed in the open space outside the electrode structure at a lower voltage by constructing a three-dimensional non-uniform spatial electric field using a contact electrode structure. The air purification study is also carried out.Firstly,a contact electrode structure is constructed using a three-dimensional wire electrode. The distribution characteristics of the spatial electric field formed by this electrode structure are analyzed, and the effects of the non-uniform electric field and the different angles of the vertical wire on the generation of three-dimensional spatial diffuse discharge are investigated.Secondly, the copper foam contact electrode structure is constructed using copper foam material, and the effects of different mesh sizes on the electric field distribution are analyzed. The results show that as the mesh size of the copper foam becomes larger,a strong electric field region exists not only on the surface of the insulating layer, but also on the surface of the vertical wires inside the copper foam,i.e.,the strong electric field region shows a three-dimensional distribution.Besides,as the mesh size increases, the area of the vertical strong electric field also increases. However, the electric field strength on the surface of the insulating layer gradually decreases. Therefore, the appropriate mesh size can effectively increase the discharge area, which is conducive to improving the air purification efficiency. Finally,a highly permeable stacked electrode structure of multilayer wire-copper foam is designed. In combination with an ozone treatment catalyst,an air purification device is fabricated, and the air purification experiment is carried out.

文摘In this paper the centers and limit cycles for a class of three-dimensional cubic Kukles systems are investigated.First,by calculating and analyzing the common zeros of the first ten singular point quantities, the necessary conditions for the origin being a center on the center manifold are derived, and furthermore, the sufficiency of those conditions is proved using the Darboux integrating method. Then,by calculating and analyzing the common zeros of the first three period constants, the necessary and sufficient conditions for the origin being an isochronous center on the center manifold are given. Finally,by proving the linear independence of the first ten singular point quantities,it is demonstrated that the system can bifurcate ten small-amplitude limit cycles near the origin under a suitable perturbation, which is a new lower bound for the number of limit cycles around a weak focus in a three-dimensional cubic system.

文摘The accuracy of the Earth's gravitational field measured from the gravity field and steady-state ocean circulation explorer(GOCE),up to 250 degrees, influenced by the radial gravity gradient V zz and three-dimensional gravity gradient V ij from the satellite gravity gradiometry(SGG) are contrastively demonstrated based on the analytical error model and numerical simulation, respectively.Firstly, the new analytical error model of the cumulative geoid height, influenced by the radial gravity gradient V zz and three-dimensional gravity gradient V ij are established, respectively. In 250 degrees, the GOCE cumulative geoid height error measured by the radial gravity gradient V zz is about 2 1/2 times higher than that measured by the three-dimensional gravity gradient V ij.Secondly, the Earth's gravitational field from GOCE completely up to 250 degrees is recovered using the radial gravity gradient V zz and three-dimensional gravity gradient V ij by numerical simulation, respectively. The study results show that when the measurement error of the gravity gradient is 3×10 12 /s 2,the cumulative geoid height errors using the radial gravity gradient V zz and three-dimensional gravity gradient V ij are 12.319 cm and 9.295 cm at 250 degrees, respectively. The accuracy of the cumulative geoid height using the three-dimensional gravity gradient V ij is improved by 30%-40% on average compared with that using the radial gravity gradient V zz in 250 degrees. Finally,by mutual verification of the analytical error model and numerical simulation, the orders of magnitude from the accuracies of the Earth's gravitational field recovery make no substantial differences based on the radial and three-dimensional gravity gradients, respectively. Therefore,it is feasible to develop in advance a radial cold-atom interferometric gradiometer with a measurement accuracy of 10 13 /s 2-10 15 /s 2 for precisely producing the next-generation GOCE Follow-On Earth gravity field model with a high spatial resolution.

文摘Computed tomography has been proven to be useful for non-destructive inspection of structures and materials. The imaging results not only indicate the ability of terahertz wave in the non-invasive sensing and non-destructive inspection applications, but also prove the effectiveness and superiority of the uni-traveling-carrier photodiode as a terahertz source in the imaging applications.

文摘We present an optical encryption method of multiple three-dimensional objects based on multiple interferences and single-pixel digital holography. Simulation results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method and show that the system has good security performance.

文摘Large field-of-view(FoV) three-dimensional(3 D) photon-counting imaging is demonstrated with a single-pixel single-photon detector based on a Geiger-mode Si-avalanche photodiode. A 3 D image overlaid with the reflectivity data is obtained according to the photon-counting time-of-flight measurement and the return photon intensity.

文摘A method of constructing three-dimensional process model for the punching cartridge cases is presented based on DEFORM simulation analysis. An example is also provided to illustrate that the relative error between the simulation process model and the physical model is less than 2%,which proves the validity and reliability of the proposed method in this study.

文摘We show that giant asymmetric transmission and optical rotation for linear polarizations can be achieved by a chiral three-dimensional metamaterial composed of L-shaped and C-shaped metallic particles. Numerical calcu- lations on the electric field distributions indicate that the coupling between the electric dipolar and quadrupolar resonances in the L- and C-shaped metallic particles contributes to these effects.

文摘At present, many chaos-based image encryption algorithms have proved to be unsafe, few encryption schemes permute the plain images as three-dimensional(3D) bit matrices, and thus bits cannot move to any position, the movement range of bits are limited, and based on them, in this paper we present a novel image encryption algorithm based on 3D Brownian motion and chaotic systems. Simulation results and security analyses illustrate that our algorithm has excellent encryption performance in terms of security and speed.

文摘2D nanosheets such as graphene, silicene, phosphorene, metal dichalcogenides and MXenes are emerging and promising for lithium storage due to their ultrathin nature and corresponding chemical/physical properties. On the basis of above results, some challenges are briefly discussed in the perspective of the development of various functional 3D structures.

文摘We present an efficient three-dimensional coupled-mode model based on the Fourier synthesis technique. Comparisons of both accuracy and efficiency between the present model and a benchmark model are also provided.
