Fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making method-based operational assessment of Chinese electricity markets

The evaluation of the electricity market is crucial for fostering market construction and development.An accurate assessment of the electricity market reveals developmental trends,identifies operational issues,and contributes to stable and healthy market growth.This study investigated the characteristics of electricity markets in different provinces and synthesized a comprehensive set of evaluation indicators to assess market effectiveness.The evaluation framework,comprising nine indicators organized into two tiers,was constructed based on three aspects:market design,market efficiency,and developmental coordination.Furthermore,a novel fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making evaluation model for electricity market performance was developed based on the Fuzzy-BWM and fuzzy COPRAS methodologies.This model aimed to ensure both accuracy and comprehensiveness in market operation assessment.Subsequently,empirical analyses were conducted on four typical provincial-level electricity markets in China.The results indicate that Guangdong’s electricity market performed best because of its effective balance of stakeholder interests and adherence to contractual integrity principles.Zhejiang and Shandong ranked second and third,respectively,whereas Sichuan exhibited the poorest market performance.Sichuan’s electricity market must be improved in terms of market design,such that market players can obtain a fairly competitive environment.The sensitivity analysis of the constructed indicators verified the effectiveness of the evaluation model proposed in this study.Finally,policy recommendations were proposed to facilitate the sustainable development of China’s electricity markets with the objective of transforming them into efficient and secure markets adaptable to the evolution of novel power systems. 展开更多

Buried natural gas pipelines are vulnerable to external corrosion because they are encased in a soil environment for a long time.Identifying the causes of external corrosion and taking specific maintenance measures is essential.In this work,a risk analysis and maintenance decision-making model for natural gas pipelines with external corrosion is proposed based on a Bayesian network.A fault tree model is first employed to identify the causes of external corrosion.The Bayesian network for risk analysis is determined accordingly.The maintenance strategies are then inserted into the Bayesian network to show a reduction of the risk.The costs of maintenance strategies and the reduced risk after maintenance are combined in an optimization function to build a decision-making model.Because of the limitations of historical data,some of the parameters in the Bayesian network are obtained from a probabilistic estimation model,which combines expert experience and fuzzy set theory.Finally,a case study is carried out to verify the feasibility of the maintenance decision model.This indicates that the method proposed in this work can be used to provide effective maintenance schemes for different pipeline external corrosion scenarios and to reduce the possible losses caused by external corrosion. 展开更多

Stealth security has always been considered as an important guarantee for the vitality and combat effectiveness of submarines.In accordance with the stealth requirements of submarines performing stealth voyage tasks,this paper proposes a stealth assistant decision system.Firstly,the submarine stealth posture is acquired.A fuzzy neural network inference engine based on improved simplified particle swarm optimization is designed.The auxiliary decision-making scheme for state control and maneuver avoidance of submarine and its equipment is automatically generated.Secondly,the simulation and deduction of the assistant decision-making scheme are realized by the calculation modules of sound source level,propagation loss,and stealth situation.The assistant decision-making scheme and simulation result provide decision support for the commander.Thirdly,the simulation experiment platform of the submarine stealth assistant decision system is constructed.The submarine stealth assistant decision system described in this paper can quickly and efficiently produce assistant decision-making schemes,including submarine and equipment control and maneuver avoidance.The scheme is in line with the combat experience and the results of the pre-model simulation experiments,whereas the simulation deduction evaluates the rationality and effectiveness of the selected scheme.The submarine stealth assistant decision system can adapt to a complex battlefield environment in addition to rapidly and accurately providing assistance in decision-making. 展开更多

Because of the uncertainty and subjectivity of decision makers in the complex decision-making environment,the evaluation information of alternatives given by decision makers is often fuzzy and uncertain.As a generalization of intuitionistic fuzzy set(IFSs)and Pythagoras fuzzy set(PFSs),q-rung orthopair fuzzy set(q-ROFS)is more suitable for expressing fuzzy and uncertain information.But,in actual multiple attribute decision making(MADM)problems,the weights of DMs and attributes are always completely unknown or partly known,to date,the maximizing deviation method is a good tool to deal with such issues.Thus,combine the q-ROFS and conventional maximizing deviation method,we will study the maximizing deviation method under q-ROFSs and q-RIVOFSs in this paper.Firstly,we briefly introduce the basic concept of q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets(q-ROFSs)and q-rung interval-valued orthopair fuzzy sets(q-RIVOFSs).Then,combine the maximizing deviation method with q-rung orthopair fuzzy information,we establish two new decision making models.On this basis,the proposed models are applied to MADM problems with q-rung orthopair fuzzy information.Compared with existing methods,the effectiveness and superiority of the new model are analyzed.This method can effectively solve the MADM problem whose decision information is represented by q-rung orthopair fuzzy numbers(q-ROFNs)and whose attributes are incomplete. 展开更多

Many brain functions, such as learning and memory, have been successfully described by attractor dynamics. For decision making in the brain, a quantitative description of global attractor landscapes has not yet been completely given. Here, we developed a theoretical framework to quantify the landscape associated with the steady state probability distributions and associated steady state curl flux, measuring the degree of non-equilibrium through the degree of detailed balance breaking for decision making. We quantified the decision-making processes with optimal paths from the undecided attractor states to the decided attractor states, which are identified as basins of attractions, on the landscape. Both landscape and flux determine the kinetic paths and speed. The kinetics and global stability of decision making are explored by quantifying the landscape topography through the barrier heights and the mean first passage time. Our theoretical predictions are in agreement with experimental observations: more errors occur under time pressure. We quantitatively explored two mechanisms of the speed-accuracy tradeoff with speed emphasis and further uncovered the tradeoffs among speed, accuracy, and energy cost. Our results imply that there is an optimal balance among speed, accuracy, and the energy cost in decision making. We uncovered the possible mechanisms of changes of mind and how mind changes improve performance in decision processes. Our landscape approach can help facilitate an understanding of the underlying physical mechanisms of cognitive processes and identify the key factors in the corresponding neural networks. 展开更多

How to get higher resource utilization with less energy consumption is a challenge for cognitive radio networks. Secondary users have to participate in spectrum sensing at the cost of energy and access idle spectrum without interfering primary users. However,not all participating secondary users can access idle spectrum. How to ensure the participation users access spectrum efficiently with a larger probability is an urgent problem to be solved. We propose an Energy Efficiency-based Decision Making(EEDM) for cognitive radio networks,which fully considers residual energy and probability of obtaining spectrum resources. Simulation and analysis show that the proposed scheme can maximize proportion of allocated users under the premise of ensuring the accuracy of spectrum sensing,then balance users' energy consumption and access efficiency,so as to effectively improve the utilization of spectrum resources. 展开更多

This paper describes a novel approach to explore a multidimensional design space and guide multi-actor decision making in the design of sustainable buildings.The aim is to provide proactive and holistic guidance of the design team.We propose to perform exhaustive Monte Carlo simulations in an iterative design approach that consists of tw o steps:1) preparation by the modeler,and 2) a multi-collaborator meeting.In the preparation phase,the simulation modeler performs Morris sensitivity analysis to fixate insignificant model inputs and to identify non-linearity and interaction effects.Next,a representation of the global design space is obtained from thousands of simulations using low-discrepancysequences(LPτ) for sampling.From these simulations,the modeler constructs fast metamodels and performs quantitative sensitivity analysis.During the meeting,the design team explores the global design space by filtering the thousands of simulations.Variable filter criteria are easily applied using an interactive parallel coordinate plot w hich provide immediate feedback on requirements and design choices.Sensitivity measures and metamodels show the combined effects of changing a single input and how to remedy unw anted output changes.The proposed methodology has been developed and tested through real building cases using a normative model to assess energy demand,thermal comfort,and daylight. 展开更多

Concurrently, there is a growing body of work focused on developing best practices for natural hazard modeling and to create structured evaluation criteria for complex environmental models. However, to our knowledge there has been less focus on the conditions where decision makers can confidently rely on results from these models. In this review we propose a preliminary set of conditions necessary for the appropriate application of modeled results to natural hazard decision making and provide relevant examples within US wildfire management programs. 展开更多

In view of the uncertainty of the monitored performance parameters of aeroengines, the fluctuating scope of the monitored infurmation during a period is taken as interval numbers, and the interval multi-attribute decision-making method is employed to predict the performance of aeroengine, The synthetic weights of interval numbers are obtained by calculating deviation degree and possibility degree. As an example of application, 5 performance parameters monitored on 10 CF6 aeroengines of China Eastern Airlines Co., Ltd are adopted as decision attributes to verify the algorithm. 目的构建一个融合知识驱动和数据驱动的混合决策模型,并将其应用于室性心动过速的病因诊断。方法检索2018—2023年心律失常疾病领域的临床实践指南、专家共识和医学文献作为知识源,并回顾性收集2013—2023年中国医学科学院阜外医院室性... 目的构建一个融合知识驱动和数据驱动的混合决策模型,并将其应用于室性心动过速的病因诊断。方法检索2018—2023年心律失常疾病领域的临床实践指南、专家共识和医学文献作为知识源,并回顾性收集2013—2023年中国医学科学院阜外医院室性心动过速(ventricular tachycardia,VT)患者的电子病历信息作为数据集。采用基于知识规则的方法构建临床路径作为知识驱动模型;基于真实世界数据构建VT病因诊断三分类机器学习模型,并选取其中的最佳模型作为数据驱动模型代表;以临床路径为基本框架,将机器学习模型以自定义运算符的形式嵌入临床路径的决策节点中,作为混合模型。评价上述3种模型的精确率、召回率和F1分数。结果共纳入3部临床实践指南作为知识驱动模型的知识源;收集了1305条患者数据作为数据集,构建了5种机器学习模型,其中XGBoost模型最佳。混合模型采用知识驱动的决策思维,分别将XGBoost模型嵌入2层分类的决策节点中。3种模型的精确率、召回率和F1分数如下:知识驱动模型为80.4%、79.1%和79.7%;数据驱动模型分别为88.4%、88.5%和88.4%;混合模型分别为90.4%、90.2%和90.3%。结论融合知识与数据驱动的混合模型展现出更高的准确性,且混合模型的所有决策结果均基于循证证据,这更接近临床医生的实际诊断思维。未来需更严格地验证混合模型广泛应用于医学领域的可行性。 展开更多

针对中国海上石油钻井监测控制与风险防控技术实现智能化面临的诸如海上钻井参数实时监测评价能力差等难题,根据中国海域特点改进相关理论计算模型,研发具有自主知识产权的应用软件和应用工具对海洋钻井参数进行精确预测、对海洋钻井风... 针对中国海上石油钻井监测控制与风险防控技术实现智能化面临的诸如海上钻井参数实时监测评价能力差等难题,根据中国海域特点改进相关理论计算模型,研发具有自主知识产权的应用软件和应用工具对海洋钻井参数进行精确预测、对海洋钻井风险进行评估、对海上员工进行操作监控培训等;同时引入Optidrill数据采集分析系统等国外成熟商业钻井监控软件去解决海洋钻井参数实时监控难的问题。上述技术体系应用后,中国渤海海域部分区块单井复杂工况时间降低30%以上,复杂事故处理时间减少20%以上,钻井周期减少20%以上,培训效率提升40%,最终形成了钻井工程设计可视化模拟评估技术、钻井实时监测与控制优化技术、复杂工况多方决策技术和钻井工程仿真模拟培训技术等四大关键技术。本项研究的海洋钻井参数监测控制与钻井风险防控技术体系取得了良好的应用效果,可为实现海上安全高效钻井作业目标提供理论和技术支撑。 展开更多
