Traditionally, a dimension chain is established and calculated m anually. With wide computer application in the field of mechanical design and ma nufacture, people began to use a computer to acquire and calculate a dimension c hain automatically. In reported work, a dimension chain can be established and c alculated automatically. However, dimension text values of dimensions composing a dimension chain and these dimensions’ tolerance’s upper values and lower valu es are put into a computer manually, which is inefficient and easy to make mis takes. In order to overcome above difficulties. it is very important to acquir e noted dimensions automatically, furthermore analyse and calculate a dimens ion chain, then show results. At present AutoCAD softwares of Autodesk company h ave been used popularly in mechanical designing. For automatically acquiring noted dimensions, analyzing and calculating a dimension chain in a design draw in AutoCAD, this paper introduces the solvable scheme of automatic dimension acq uisition and dimension chain calculation in AutoCAD by ObjectARX. ObjectARX is a developing tool for AutoCAD. In this paper a dimension chain is expressed b y three matrixes, which respectively stand for dimension text value matrix, tole rance’s upper value matrix and tolerance’s lower value matrix. The developed p rogram can be used to both calculate a assembling dimension chain, and a process dimension chain. When the program running in AutoCAD, noted dimensions comp osing a dimension chain in AutoCAD are selected in turn with a mouse, then the c omputer begin to calculate the dimension chain and results are shown in a dialog box. A running example is given in this paper.展开更多

The signals of displacement in the vibration process during the test were collected. The trispectrum model of autoregressive (AR) time series was built and the correlation dimension was used to quantify the fractal characteristics during the vibration process. The result shows that,in different working conditions, trispectrum slices are applied to obtaining the information of non-Gaussian,nonlinear amplitude?frequency characteristics of the signal. Besides, there is correlation between the correlation dimension of vibration signal and trispectrum slices, which is very important to select the optimum working parameters of the MR damper and vibrating screen. And in the experimental conditions,it is found that when the working current of MR damper is 2 A and the rotation speed of vibration motor is 800 r/min,the vibration screen reaches its maximum screening efficiency.展开更多

The standard algorithm requires O(N2) computations. The previous improvement methods endeavor to sequentially reduce redundant computation on condition that there are many different dimensional phase spaces, whose application area and performance improvement degree are limited. This paper presents two fast parallel algorithms: O (N^2/p + logp) time p processors PRAM algo- rithm and O(N^2/p) time p processors LARPBS algorithm. Analysis and results of numeric computation indicate that the speedup of parallel algorithms relative to sequence algorithms is efficient. Compared with the PRAM algorithm, The LARPBS algorithm is practical, optimally scalable and cost optimal.展开更多

The study on cloud detection from the visual band of a satellite image is developed. Firstly, we consider the differences between the cloud and ground including high grey level, good continuity of grey level, area of cloud region, and the variance of local fractal dimension (VLFD) of the cloud region. A single cloud region detection method is proposed. Secondly, by introducing a reference satellite image and by comparing the variance in the dimensions corresponding to the reference and the tested images, a method that detects multiple cloud regions and determines whether or not the cloud exists in an image is described. By using several Ikonos images, the performance of the proposed method is demonstrated.展开更多

There is no problem to express them exactly mathematically, but th e reportage has not been done on the investigation of precision analysis of thre e-dimension free curves nanofabrication. Nanofabrication Precision includes the geometrical precision and the precision of driving system (below simply cal led the system precision). This paper submits the precision analysis method of c urve normal vector to analyze geometrical precision. Take an aspherical surf ace for example, it can be fitted and constructed by tensor product parameter cu rves, such as linear drawing curves, straight veins curves, rotating curves, swe eping curves, DUCT curves and Geomap curves. Then the curves of the aspherical s urface is iterated and modified to select the best fitted curves of the aspheric al surface. Finally, the geometrical precision of perfect approximate aspherical surface fitting has been sought. This kind of geometrical fitting construction is very important. Another is the system precision, which contains axial position precision, line p recision, and twisting and swinging precision, etc. The paper adopts the theory of precision optimum match (Prof. Wang Er-qi first put forward in 19 83) to allocate precision optimumly. The minimum cost is used as an objective fu nction, and weight method matches the precision. To obtain the optimum match combination of the minimum cost design parameters and every composing element t olerance, the precision is iterated and sought optimumly to design the system op timumly. The theoretical analysis shows that it’s feasible to control three dim ension free curves nanofabrication within nanometer scale precision.展开更多

Factorial experimental design technique was used to investigate and select the parameter combination to achieve a coating with adequate strength and ductility. Spindle speed, axial force and table traverse speed were observed to be the most significant factors on physical dimensions. It was observed that the thickness of the coating decreased as the coating width increased. In addition, the width and thickness of the coatings are higher at low and high torques. At intermediate torque values, when the force is high, the width of the coating is high, and its thickness is thin; and when the force is low, the width and thickness are low. The interaction effect between axial force(F)-table traverse speed(Vx) and spindle speed(N)-table traverse speed(Vx) produced an increasing effect on coating width and thickness, but other interactions exhibited decreasing influence. It has also been observed that sound coatings could be obtained in a narrow set of parameter range as the substrate-coating materials are metallurgically incompatible and have a propensity to form brittle intermetallics.展开更多

Firstly, a stepped-frequency signal is employed to achieve high range resolution, combining with a variety of signal processing tech- niques. Secondly, cross-range resolution is gained with a rotating table, and the high-resolution two-dimensional (2-D) imaging of the scale model is obtained by the microwave imaging theory. Finally, two receiving antennas with a small distance in altitude are used, and the three-dimensional (3-D) height distribution of scattering points on the scale model is extracted from the phase of images. Some typical bodies and a scale aircraft model are diagnosed in an anechoic chamber. The experimental results show that, after scaling with a metal sphere, the accurate one- dimensional (l-D) RCS pattern of the model is obtained, and it has a large dynamic range. When the bandwidth of the transmitting signal is 4 GHz, the resolution of the 2-D image can reach to 0.037 5 m. The 3-D height distribution of scattering points is given by interferometric measurement. This paper provides a feasible way to obtain high-precision scattering properties parameters of the scale aircraft model in a conventional rectangular anechoic chamber.展开更多

In this work, our aim was to evaluate the performance of cutting machines using hybrid intelligent models. For this purpose, a systematic experimental work was performed. A database of the carbonate and granite rocks was established, in which the physical and mechanical properties of these rocks (i.e., UCS, elastic modulus, Mohs hardness, and Schmiazek abrasivity factor) and the operational parameters (i.e., depth of cut and feed rate) were considered as the input parameters. The predictive models were developed incorporating a combination of the multi-layered perceptron artificial neural networks and genetic algorithm (GANN-BP) and the support vector regression method and Cuckoo optimization algorithm (COA-SVR). The results obtained indicated that the performance of the developed GANN-BP and COA-SVR models was close to each other and that these models had good agreements with the measured values. These results also showed that these proposed models were suitable tools in evaluating the performance of cutting machines.展开更多

文摘Background Damage to the central nervous system(CNS)usually leads to the activation of astrocytes, followed by glial scar formation. For years, glial scar has been thought as a major obstacle for successful axon regeneration. However, increasing evidence suggests a beneficial role for this scar tissue as part of the endogenous local immune regulation and repair process.Surprisingly,in contrast to scars in other tissues, glial scars(mainly consist of reactive astrocytes)in both rat cortex and spinal cord were recently found to be significantly softer than healthy CNS tissues.Naive astrocytes have been found to change their phenotype to reactive astrocytes and gradually into scar-forming astrocytes, upregulating the astrocyte marker glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP),vimentin, and inflammatory proteins in almost all known brain disorders.Such phenotype transformation process has been widely thought unidirectional or irreversible. However, recent research revealed the environment-dependent plasticity of astrocyte phenotypes, with reactive astrocytes could revert in retrograde to naive astrocytes in proper microenvironment. In consideration of the important roles of mechanical cues in CNS and the unique softening behavior of glial scars,it is of great interesting to study the effects of dynamic changes of matrix stiffness on astrocyte phenotypic switch.Materials&methods Primary astrocyes were isolated from the cortex of SpragueDawley(SD)rats at PI.After cultured for 2 weeks, astrocytes were encapsulated into a set of three-dimensional(3D)hybrid hydrogel system composed of type I collagen and alginate.Immunofluorescence and Western blot expression analysis were applied for characterizting cell responses to different and dynamically changed matrix stiffness.A molecular dynamics model was developed for simulation. Results&discussion In this work,we established an in-vitro model to study the effects of dynamic changes of matrix stiffness on astrocyte phenotypic switchings in 3D.To simulate native cellular environment,we fabricated a set of hybrid hydrogel system composed of type I collagen and alginate. The stiffness of the hybrid hydrogels was demonstrated to be dynamically changed by adding calcium chloride or sodium citrate to crosslink or decrosslink alginate, respectively.Using 3D culture models,we showed that the decrease of matrix stiffness could promote astrocyte activation, with upregulated GFAP and IL-1β.In addition,3D cultured astrocytes spread greater with decreasing matrix stiffness. Moreover,we surprisingly found that astrocyte phenotype could be switched by dynamically changing matrix stiffness.Specifically, matrix stiffening reverted the activation of astrocytes, whereas matrix softening induced astrocyte activation. We further demonstrated that matrix stiffness-induced astrocyte activation was mediated through cytoskeletal tension and YAP protein. To some extent,YAP inhibition enhanced the responses of astrocytes to matrix stiffness. These may guide researchersto re-examine the role of matrix stiffness in reactive astrogliosis in vivo, and inspire the development of novel therapeutic approach for reducing glial scar following injury, enabling axonal regrowth and improving functional recovery by exploiting the benefits of mechanobiology studies. Conclusions Taken together, our results clarify the effects of matrix stiffness and its dynamic changes on phenotypic swtich of astrocytes in three dimensions and reveal environmental factors that regulate astrocytic phenotype transformation process, which may provide potential therapeutic approach for CNS injury.
文摘In the course of mechanical part designing, process p lanning and assembling designing, we often have to calculate and analyse a dimen sion chain. A running example is given in this paper.

文摘In order to improve the screening efficiency of vibrating screen and make vibration process smooth,a new type of magnetorheological (MR) damper was proposed. And in the experimental conditions,it is found that when the working current of MR damper is 2 A and the rotation speed of vibration motor is 800 r/min,the vibration screen reaches its maximum screening efficiency.

文摘The calculation of correlation dimension is a key problem of the fractals. Compared with the PRAM algorithm, The LARPBS algorithm is practical, optimally scalable and cost optimal.

文摘Cover ratio of cloud is a very important factor which affects the quality of a satellite image, therefore cloud detection from satellite images is a necessary step in assessing the image quality. By using several Ikonos images, the performance of the proposed method is demonstrated.
文摘Three dimension free curves find wide applications in engineering. The theoretical analysis shows that it’s feasible to control three dim ension free curves nanofabrication within nanometer scale precision.
文摘An attempt is made in the present study to obtain the relationships among process parameters and physical dimensions of AA6063 aluminium alloy coating on IS2062 mild steel obtained through friction surfacing and their impact on strength and ductility of the coating. It has also been observed that sound coatings could be obtained in a narrow set of parameter range as the substrate-coating materials are metallurgically incompatible and have a propensity to form brittle intermetallics.

文摘Aiming at the concept of "diagnosis", a simple and effective broadband radar cross section (RCS) measurement system is constructed, and some multi-dimensional scattering properties diagnosis techniques are presented based on the system. This paper provides a feasible way to obtain high-precision scattering properties parameters of the scale aircraft model in a conventional rectangular anechoic chamber.

文摘In the underwater waveguide, the conventional adaptive subspace detector(ASD),derived by using the generalized likelihood ratio test(GLRT)theory, suffers from a significant degradation in detection performance when the samplings of training data are deficient. This paper proposes a dimension-reduced approach to alleviate this problem. The dimension reduction includes two steps:firstly, the full array is divided into several subarrays;secondly, the test data and the training data at each subarray are transformed into the modal domain from the hydrophone domain. Then the modal-domain test data and training data at each subarray are processed to formulate the subarray statistic by using the GLRT theory. The final test statistic of the dimension-reduced ASD(DR-ASD)is obtained by summing all the subarray statistics. After the dimension reduction, the unknown parameters can be estimated more accurately so the DR-ASD achieves a better detection performance than the ASD.In order to achieve the optimal detection performance, the processing gain of the DR-ASD is deduced to choose a proper number of subarrays.Simulation experiments verify the improved detection performance of the DR-ASD compared with the ASD.

文摘The performance of cutting machines in terms of energy consumption and vibration directly affects the production costs. These results also showed that these proposed models were suitable tools in evaluating the performance of cutting machines.
