Due to the increasing variety of information and services carried by optical networks, the survivability of network becomes an important problem in current research. The fault location of OTN is of great significance ...Due to the increasing variety of information and services carried by optical networks, the survivability of network becomes an important problem in current research. The fault location of OTN is of great significance for studying the survivability of optical networks. Firstly, a three-channel network model is established and analyzing common alarm data, the fault monitoring points and common fault points are carried out. The artificial neural network is introduced into the fault location field of OTN and it is used to judge whether the possible fault point exists or not. But one of the obvious limitations of general neural networks is that they receive a fixedsize vector as input and produce a fixed-size vector as the output. Not only that, these models is even fixed for mapping operations (for example, the number of layers in the model). The difference between the recurrent neural network and general neural networks is that it can operate on the sequence. In spite of the fact that the gradient disappears and the gradient explodes still exist in the neural network, the method of gradient shearing or weight regularization is adopted to solve this problem, and choose the LSTM (long-short term memory networks) to locate the fault. The output uses the concept of membership degree of fuzzy theory to express the possible fault point with the probability from 0 to 1. Priority is given to the treatment of fault points with high probability. The concept of F-Measure is also introduced, and the positioning effect is measured by using location time, MSE and F-Measure. The experiment shows that both LSTM and BP neural network can locate the fault of optical transport network well, but the overall effect of LSTM is better. The localization time of LSTM is shorter than that of BP neural network, and the F1-score of LSTM can reach 0.961566888396156 after 45 iterations, which meets the accuracy and real-time requirements of fault location. Therefore, it has good application prospect and practical value to introduce neural network into the fault location field of optical transport network.展开更多

Therefore, in order to help decision makers make more reasonable decisions under uncertainty, it is necessary to me...International oil and gas projects feature high capital-intensity, high risks and contract diversity. Therefore, in order to help decision makers make more reasonable decisions under uncertainty, it is necessary to measure the risks of international oil and gas projects. For this purpose, this paper constructs a probabilistic model that is based on the traditional economic evaluation model, and introduces value at risk(VaR) which is a valuable risk measure tool in finance, and applies Va R to measure the risks of royalty contracts, production share contracts and service contracts of an international oil and gas project. Besides, this paper compares the influences of different risk factors on the net present value(NPV) of the project by using the simulation results. The results indicate:(1) risks have great impacts on the project's NPV, therefore, if risks are overlooked, the decision may be wrong.(2) A simulation method is applied to simulate the stochastic distribution of risk factors in the probabilistic model. Therefore, the probability is related to the project's NPV, overcoming the inherent limitation of the traditional economic evaluation method.(3) VaR is a straightforward risk measure tool, and can be applied to evaluate the risks of international oil and gas projects. The probability limit theory and the algebra graph theory are employed to derive the necessary and sufficient conditions guaranteeing the mean square bounded consensus tracking. It is shown that the maximum allowable upper boundary of the sampling period simultaneously depends on the constant feedback gains and the network topology. Furthermore, the effects of the sampling period on the tracking performance are analysed. It turns out that from the view point of the sampling period, there is a trade-off between the tracking speed and the static tracking error. Simulations are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.展开更多

Firstly, we make qualitative analysis to the bounded traveling wave solution...This article studies bounded traveling wave solutions of variant Boussinesq equation with a dissipation term and dissipation effect on them. Firstly, we make qualitative analysis to the bounded traveling wave solutions for the above equation by the theory and method of planar dynamical systems, and obtain their existent conditions, number, and general shape. Secondly, we investigate the dissipation effect on the shape evolution of bounded traveling wave solutions. We find out a critical value r^* which can characterize the scale of dissipation effect, and prove that the bounded traveling wave solutions appear as kink profile waves if |r|≥ r^*; while they appear as damped oscillatory waves if |r| 〈 r^*. We also obtain kink profile solitary wave solutions with and without dissipation effect. On the basis of the above discussion, we sensibly design the structure of the approximate damped oscillatory solutions according to the orbits evolution relation corresponding to the component u(ξ) in the global phase portraits, and then obtain the approximate solutions (u(ξ), H(ξ)). Furthermore, by using homogenization principle, we give their error estimates by establishing the integral equation which reflects the relation between exact and approximate solutions. Finally, we discuss the dissipation effect on the amplitude, frequency, and energy decay of the bounded traveling wave solutions.展开更多

MLBM has many advantages, such as simple structure, ...A novel multi-laser beams measuring system (MLBM) for high precision detection on displacement of flow fields based on laser backscatter was designed and studied. MLBM has many advantages, such as simple structure, high stability, and no limitation of the monochromaticity of laser. By circumventing the strong influence of atmospheric backscattering on the high sensitivity of target echo detection, high precision detection on backscatter density of laser by signal processing was achieved. Furthermore, the signal densities of various distances were extracted by time sampling and precise frequency control of digital circuit. Finally, the MLBM system including devices integrated of emitting and reviving equipments and program was obtained. Detection experiments showed that our system has high precision and the measurement error could be controlled within 5% to 10%.展开更多

Synthetic relative measuring methods not only markedly overcome the shortcomings of traditional absolute measuring methods but also greatly improve the accuracy of dielectric loss angle measurement. However, synthetic relative measuring methods based on two or three pieces of capacitive equipment do not have the characteristic of generality. In this paper, a principle of synthetic relative measuring method is presented. The example of application for synthetic relative methods based on three and four pieces of capacitive equipment running in the same phase is taken to present the failure judgment matrices for N pieces of equipment. According to these matrices, the fault condition of N pieces of capacitive equipment can be watched, which is more general. Then some problems needing to be concerned along with two diagnostic methods used in diagnostic system are introduced. Finally, two programmable flow charts for the two methods are given and corresponding examples demonstrate their feasibility in practice.展开更多

The state of charge(SOC)estimation of lithium-ion battery is an important function in the battery management system(BMS)of electric vehicles.The long short term memory(LSTM)model can be employed for SOC estimation,whi...The state of charge(SOC)estimation of lithium-ion battery is an important function in the battery management system(BMS)of electric vehicles.The long short term memory(LSTM)model can be employed for SOC estimation,which is capable of estimating the future changing states of a nonlinear system.Since the BMS usually works under complicated operating conditions,i.e the real measurement data used for model training may be corrupted by non-Gaussian noise,and thus the performance of the original LSTM with the mean square error(MSE)loss may deteriorate.Therefore,a novel LSTM with mixture kernel mean p-power error(MKMPE)loss,called MKMPE-LSTM,is developed by using the MKMPE loss to replace the MSE as the learning criterion in LSTM framework,which can achieve robust SOC estimation under the measurement data contaminated with non-Gaussian noises(or outliers)because of the MKMPE containing the p-order moments of the error distribution.In addition,a meta-heuristic algorithm,called heap-based-optimizer(HBO),is employed to optimize the hyper-parameters(mainly including learning rate,number of hidden layer neuron and value of p in MKMPE)of the proposed MKMPE-LSTM model to further improve its flexibility and generalization performance,and a novel hybrid model(HBO-MKMPE-LSTM)is established for SOC estimation under non-Gaussian noise cases.Finally,several tests are performed under various cases through a benchmark to evaluate the performance of the proposed HBO-MKMPE-LSTM model,and the results demonstrate that the proposed hybrid method can provide a good robustness and accuracy under different non-Gaussian measurement noises,and the SOC estimation results in terms of mean square error(MSE),root MSE(RMSE),mean absolute relative error(MARE),and determination coefficient R2are less than 0.05%,3%,3%,and above 99.8%at 25℃,respectively.展开更多
