To address the drawbacks associated with traditional routing protocols in MANETs, such as poor anti-fading performance and slow convergence rate, for basic Dynamic Source Routing (DSR), we propose a new routing model based on Grover's searching algorithm. NOMA utilizes power domain in order to superimpose signals of multiple users in a single transmitted signal. This creates a lot of interference at the receive side. Although the use of successive interference cancellation(SIC) technique reduces the interference, but to further improve the receiver performance, in this paper, we have proposed a joint Walsh-Hadamard transform(WHT) and NOMA approach for achieving better performance gains than the conventional NOMA. WHT is a well-known code used in communication systems and is used as an orthogonal variable spreading factor(OVSF) in communication systems. Application of WHT to NOMA results in low bit error rate(BER) and high throughput performance for both low and high channel gain users. Further, it also reduces peak to average power ratio(PAPR) of the user signal. The results are discussed in terms of comparison between the conventionalNOMA and the proposed technique, which shows that it offers high performance gains in terms of low BER at different SNR levels, reduced PAPR, high user throughput performance and better spectral efficiency.展开更多

The optimal parameter allocation policy of the P-BSR-CS is provided to minimize the bit error rate(BER)and maximize the channel capacity(CC) under the adiabatic approximation condition. On this basis, we further derive the best parameter selection theorem in realistic communication scenarios via variable transformation. Specifically, the P-BSR structure design not only brings the robustness of parameter selection optimization, where the optimal parameter pair is not fixed but variable in quite a wide range, but also produces outstanding system performance. Theoretical analysis and simulation results indicate that in the P-BSR-CS the proposed parameter allocation scheme yields considerable performance improvement, particularly in very low signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) environments.展开更多

The excisi...A generalized approach for narrowband interference (NBI) suppression in direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) communication systems using adaptive infinite impulse response (IIR) filter is presented. The excision filter coefficients depend on both the jammer power and its instantaneous frequency. The dependency of the filter construction on the jammer power is significant as it allows optimal tradeoff between interference removal and signal distortion by maximizing the receiver signal to noise ratio improvement(SNRI). Instead of traditional adaptive line enhancer (ALE) estimator, a preferable NBI estimator-Fourier interpolation estimator (FIE) is proposed. Closed-form expressions of the SNR improvement and theoretical bit error rate (BER) based on the assumption that the output of the correlator is Gaussian distributed are both derived. Performance results obtained by numerical simulation are also presented and compared with theoretical results.展开更多

As is well known, the cooperative effect is produced by adding noises. In this paper, we show the evidence that by changing the system parameters and the signal intensity, a nonlinear system in the presence of an input aperiodic signal can yield the cooperative effect, with the noise fixed. To quantify the nonlinear system output, we determine the theoretical bit error rate (BER). By numerical simulation, the validity of the theoretical derivation is checked. Besides, we show that parameter-induced SR is more realizable than SR via adding noises, especially when the noise intensity exceeds the resonance level, or when the characteristic of the noise is not known.展开更多

文摘This paper proposes a high-throughput short reference differential chaos shift keying cooperative communication system with the aid of code index modulation, referred to as CIM-SR-DCSK-CC system. In the proposed CIM-SR-DCSK-CC system, the source transmits information bits to both the relay and destination in the first time slot, while the relay not only forwards the source information bits but also sends new information bits to the destination in the second time slot.To be specific, the relay employs an N-order Walsh code to carry additional log_(2)N information bits, which are superimposed onto the SRDCSK signal carrying the decoded source information bits.Subsequently, the superimposed signal carrying both the source and relay information bits is transmitted to the destination. Moreover, the theoretical bit error rate(BER)expressions of the proposed CIMSR-DCSK-CC system are derived over additive white Gaussian noise(AWGN)and multipath Rayleigh fading channels.Compared with the conventional DCSKCC system and SR-DCSK-CC system, the proposed CIM-SR-DCSK-CC system can significantly improve the throughput without deteriorating any BER performance. As a consequence, the proposed system is very promising for the applications of the 6G-enabled lowpower and high-rate communication.

文摘Non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA) is a new access method to achieve high performance gains in terms of capacity and throughput, so it is currently under consideration as one of the candidates for fifth generation(5 G) technologies. The results are discussed in terms of comparison between the conventionalNOMA and the proposed technique, which shows that it offers high performance gains in terms of low BER at different SNR levels, reduced PAPR, high user throughput performance and better spectral efficiency.

文摘In this paper, we propose a parameter allocation scheme in a parallel array bistable stochastic resonance-based communication system(P-BSR-CS) to improve the performance of weak binary pulse amplitude modulated(BPAM) signal transmissions. Theoretical analysis and simulation results indicate that in the P-BSR-CS the proposed parameter allocation scheme yields considerable performance improvement, particularly in very low signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) environments.

文摘In contrast with orthogonal multiple access(OMA)technologies,non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA)technology can achieve higher spectral effi-ciency and support more users simultaneously.Multiple relays can be deployed in NOMA networks,in order to combat fading and thus increase the transmission reliability. In the existing works on cooperative NOMA networks with multiple relays, the decoding error at the relays and the imperfect successive interference cancellation(SIC)are not taken into account simultaneously. In this work,we consider the bit error rate(BER)analysis of relay-aided NOMA networks, where max-min relay selection is employed.Particularly,closed-form BER expressions are derived for NOMA networks with Rayleigh fading,in the existence of the relay decoding error and imperfect SIC.The asymptotic BER performance is then obtained to provide some useful insights into the system design such as the diversity order. Finally, simulation results illustrate the correctness of the derived expressions. The presented results reveal the effects of imperfect SIC and relay decoding error on the performance of cooperative NOMA networks.

文摘A generalized approach for narrowband interference (NBI) suppression in direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) communication systems using adaptive infinite impulse response (IIR) filter is presented. Performance results obtained by numerical simulation are also presented and compared with theoretical results.

文摘Stochastic resonance (SR) is based on the cooperative effect between the stochastic dynamical system and the external forcing. Besides, we show that parameter-induced SR is more realizable than SR via adding noises, especially when the noise intensity exceeds the resonance level, or when the characteristic of the noise is not known.
