With the development of shale oil reservoirs, the permeability of multi-scale media undergoes changes due to stress sensitivity, which plays a crucial role in controlling pressure propagation and oil flow. This paper proposes a multi-scale coupled flow mathematical model of matrix nanopores, induced fractures, and hydraulic fractures. In this model, the micro-scale effects of shale oil flow in fractal nanopores, fractal induced fracture network, and stress sensitivity of multi-scale media are considered. We solved the model iteratively using Pedrosa transform, semi-analytic Segmented Bessel function, Laplace transform. The results of this model exhibit good agreement with the numerical solution and field production data, confirming the high accuracy of the model. As well, the influence of stress sensitivity on permeability, pressure and production is analyzed. It is shown that the permeability and production decrease significantly when induced fractures are weakly supported. Closed induced fractures can inhibit interporosity flow in the stimulated reservoir volume (SRV). It has been shown in sensitivity analysis that hydraulic fractures are beneficial to early production, and induced fractures in SRV are beneficial to middle production. The model can characterize multi-scale flow characteristics of shale oil, providing theoretical guidance for rapid productivity evaluation.展开更多

The determination of effective color features depends on the analysis of various color features from each tested color image via the designed feature encoding. It is different from the pervious methods where self organized feature map (SOFM) is used for constructing the feature encoding so that the feature encoding can self organize the effective features for different color images. Fuzzy clustering is applied for the final segmentation when the well suited color features and the initial parameter are available. The proposed method has been applied in segmenting different types of color images and the experimental results show that it outperforms the classical clustering method. The study shows that the feature encoding approach offers great promise in automating and optimizing the segmentation of color images.展开更多

文摘Rock fracture mechanisms can be inferred from moment tensors(MT)inverted from microseismic events. However,MT can only be inverted for events whose waveforms are acquired across a network of sensors. This is limiting for underground mines where the microseismic stations often lack azimuthal coverage. Thus, there is a need for a method to invert fracture mechanisms using waveforms acquired by a sparse microseismic network. Here,we present a novel,multi-scale framework to classify whether a rock crack contracts or dilates based on a single waveform. The framework consists of a deep learning model that is initially trained on 2400000+manually labelled field-scale seismic and microseismic waveforms acquired across 692 stations.Transfer learning is then applied to fine-tune the model on 300000+MT-labelled labscale acoustic emission waveforms from 39 individual experiments instrumented with different sensor layouts, loading, and rock types in training. The optimal model achieves over 86%F-score on unseen waveforms at both the lab-and field-scale.This model outperforms existing empirical methods in classification of rock fracture mechanisms monitored by a sparse microseismic network. This facilitates rapid assessment of,and early warning against, various rock engineering hazard such as induced earthquakes and rock bursts.

文摘With the development of underwater sonar detection technology, simultaneous localization and mapping(SLAM)approach has attracted much attention in underwater navigation field in recent years. But the weak detection ability of a single vehicle limits the SLAM performance in wide areas.Thereby, cooperative SLAM using multiple vehicles has become an important research direction. The key factor of cooperative SLAM is timely and efficient sonar image transmission among underwater vehicles. However, the limited bandwidth of underwater acoustic channels contradicts a large amount of sonar image data.It is essential to compress the images before transmission.Recently, deep neural networks have great value in image compression by virtue of the powerful learning ability of neural networks, but the existing sonar image compression methods based on neural network usually focus on the pixel-level information without the semantic-level information. In this paper,we propose a novel underwater acoustic transmission scheme called UAT-SSIC that includes semantic segmentation-based sonar image compression(SSIC)framework and the joint source-channel codec,to improve the accuracy of the semantic information of the reconstructed sonar image at the receiver. The SSIC framework consists of Auto-Encoder structure-based sonar image compression network, which is measured by a semantic segmentation network's residual.Considering that sonar images have the characteristics of blurred target edges, the semantic segmentation network used a special dilated convolution neural network(DiCNN)to enhance segmentation accuracy by expanding the range of receptive fields. The joint source-channel codec with unequal error protection is proposed that adjusts the power level of the transmitted data, which deal with sonar image transmission error caused by the serious underwater acoustic channel.Experiment results demonstrate that our method preserves more semantic information, with advantages over existing methods at the same compression ratio. It also improves the error tolerance and packet loss resistance of transmission.

文摘Target maneuver recognition is a prerequisite for air combat situation awareness, trajectory prediction, threat assessment and maneuver decision. To get rid of the dependence of the current target maneuver recognition method on empirical criteria and sample data, and automatically and adaptively complete the task of extracting the target maneuver pattern,in this paper,an air combat maneuver pattern extraction based on time series segmentation and clustering analysis is proposed by combining autoencoder,G-G clustering algorithm and the selective ensemble clustering analysis algorithm.Firstly, the autoencoder is used to extract key features of maneuvering trajectory to remove the impacts of redundant variables and reduce the data dimension; Then, taking the time information into account, the segmentation of Maneuver characteristic time series is realized with the improved FSTS-AEGG algorithm, and a large number of maneuver primitives are extracted; Finally, the maneuver primitives are grouped into some categories by using the selective ensemble multiple time series clustering algorithm, which can prove that each class represents a maneuver action. The maneuver pattern extraction method is applied to small scale air combat trajectory and can recognize and correctly partition at least 71.3%of maneuver actions, indicating that the method is effective and satisfies the requirements for engineering accuracy. In addition, this method can provide data support for various target maneuvering recognition methods proposed in the literature, greatly reduce the workload and improve the recognition accuracy.

文摘The intensive application of deep learning in medical image processing has facilitated the advancement of automatic retinal vessel segmentation research. To overcome the limitation that traditional U-shaped vessel segmentation networks fail to extract features in fundus image sufficiently,we propose a novel network(DSeU-net)based on deformable convolution and squeeze excitation residual module. The deformable convolution is utilized to dynamically adjust the receptive field for the feature extraction of retinal vessel. And the squeeze excitation residual module is used to scale the weights of the low-level features so that the network learns the complex relationships of the different feature layers efficiently. We validate the DSeU-net on three public retinal vessel segmentation datasets including DRIVE,CHASEDB1,and STARE,and the experimental results demonstrate the satisfactory segmentation performance of the network.
文摘In this study,an underwater image enhancement method based on multi-scale adversarial network was proposed to solve the problem of detail blur and color distortion in underwater images.Firstly, the local features of each layer were enhanced into the global features by the proposed residual dense block, which ensured that the generated images retain more details.Secondly,a multi-scale structure was adopted to extract multi-scale semantic features of the original images. Finally, the features obtained from the dual channels were fused by an adaptive fusion module to further optimize the features. The discriminant network adopted the structure of the Markov discriminator. In addition,by constructing mean square error, structural similarity, and perceived color loss function, the generated image is consistent with the reference image in structure, color, and content. The experimental results showed that the enhanced underwater image deblurring effect of the proposed algorithm was good and the problem of underwater image color bias was effectively improved. In both subjective and objective evaluation indexes, the experimental results of the proposed algorithm are better than those of the comparison algorithm.

文摘Seismic data reconstruction can provide high-density sampling and regular input data for inversion and imaging, playing a crucial role in seismic data processing. In seismic data reconstruction,a common scenario involves a significant distance between the source and the first receiver, which makes it unattainable to acquire near-offset data.A new workflow for seismic data extrapolation is proposed to address this issue, which is based on a multi-scale dynamic time warping(MS-DTW)algorithm.MS-DTW can accurately calculate the time-shift between two time series and is a robust method for predicting time-offset(t-x)domain data.Using the time-shift calculated by the MS-DTW as the basic input, predict the two-way traveltime(TWT)of other traces based on the TWT of the reference trace.Perform autoregressive polynomial fitting on TWT and extrapolate TWT based on the fitted polynomial coefficients.Extract amplitude information from the TWT curve, fit the amplitude curve, and extrapolate the amplitude using polynomial coefficients. The proposed workflow does not necessitate data conversion to other domains and does not require prior knowledge of underground geological information. It applies to both isotropic and anisotropic media. The effectiveness of the workflow was verified through synthetic data and field data. The results show that compared with the method of predictive painting based on local slope, this approach can accurately predict missing near-offset seismic signals and demonstrates good robustness to noise.

文摘Named entity recognition(NER)is an important part in knowledge extraction and one of the main tasks in constructing knowledge graphs. In today’s Chinese named entity recognition(CNER)task, the BERT-BiLSTM-CRF model is widely used and often yields notable results. However, recognizing each entity with high accuracy remains challenging. Many entities do not appear as single words but as part of complex phrases, making it difficult to achieve accurate recognition using word embedding information alone because the intricate lexical structure often impacts the performance. To address this issue,we propose an improved Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers(BERT)character word conditional random field(CRF)(BCWC)model. It incorporates a pre-trained word embedding model using the skip-gram with negative sampling(SGNS)method, alongside traditional BERT embeddings.By comparing datasets with different word segmentation tools,we obtain enhanced word embedding features for segmented data. These features are then processed using the multi-scale convolution and iterated dilated convolutional neural networks(IDCNNs)with varying expansion rates to capture features at multiple scales and extract diverse contextual information.Additionally,a multi-attention mechanism is employed to fuse word and character embeddings. Finally,CRFs are applied to learn sequence constraints and optimize entity label annotations.A series of experiments are conducted on three public datasets, demonstrating that the proposed method outperforms the recent advanced baselines.BCWC is capable to address the challenge of recognizing complex entities by combining character-level and word-level embedding information, thereby improving the accuracy of CNER.Such a model is potential to the applications of more precise knowledge extraction such as knowledge graph construction and information retrieval, particularly in domain-specific natural language processing tasks that require high entity recognition precision.

文摘Terrestrial laser scanning(TLS)accurately captures tree structural information and provides prerequisites for treescale estimations of forest biophysical attributes.Quantifying tree-scale attributes from TLS point clouds requires segmentation, yet the occlusion effects severely affect the accuracy of automated individual tree segmentation. In this study,we proposed a novel method using ellipsoid directional searching and point compensation algorithms to alleviate occlusion effects.Firstly, region growing and point compensation algorithms are used to determine the location of tree roots.Secondly, the neighbor points are extracted within an ellipsoid neighborhood to mitigate occlusion effects compared with k-nearest neighbor(KNN).Thirdly, neighbor points are uniformly subsampled by the directional searching algorithm based on the Fibonacci principle in multiple spatial directions to reduce memory consumption. Finally,a graph describing connectivity between a point and its neighbors is constructed, and it is utilized to complete individual tree segmentation based on the shortest path algorithm. The proposed method was evaluated on a public TLS dataset comprising six forest plots with three complexity categories in Evo,Finland, and it reached the highest mean accuracy of 77.5%,higher than previous studies on tree detection. We also extracted and validated the tree structure attributes using manual segmentation reference values. The RMSE,RMSE%,bias, and bias%of tree height, crown base height, crown projection area, crown surface area, and crown volume were used to evaluate the segmentation accuracy, respectively.Overall, the proposed method avoids many inherent limitations of current methods and can accurately map canopy structures in occluded complex forest stands.

文摘Water hammer diagnostics is an important fracturing diagnosis technique to evaluate fracture locations and other downhole events in fracturing. The evaluation results are obtained by analyzing shut-in water hammer pressure signal. The field-sampled water hammer signal is often disturbed by noise interfer-ence.Noise interference exists in various pumping stages during water hammer diagnostics, with significantly different frequency range and energy distribution.Clarifying the differences in frequency range and energy distribution between effective water hammer signals and noise is the basis of setting specific filtering parameters, including filtering frequency range and energy thresholds.Filtering spe-cifically could separate the effective signal and noise, which is the key to ensuring the accuracy of water hammer diagnosis. As an emerging technique, there is a lack of research on the frequency range and energy distribution of effective signals in water hammer diagnostics. In this paper, the frequency range and energy distribution characteristics of field-sampled water hammer signals were clarified quantita-tively and qualitatively for the first time by a newly proposed comprehensive water hammer segmentation-energy analysis method. The water hammer signals were preprocessed and divided into three segments, including pre-shut-in,water hammer oscillation, and leak-off segment. Then, the three segments were analyzed by energy analysis and correlation analysis. The results indicated that, one aspect, the frequency range of water hammer oscillation spans from 0 to 0.65 Hz,considered as effective water hammer signal. The pre-shut-in and leak-off segment ranges from 0 to 0.35 Hz and 0e0.2 Hz respectively.Meanwhile, odd harmonics were manifested in water hammer oscillation segment, with the harmonic frequencies ranging approximately from 0.07 to 0.75 Hz.Whereas integer harmonics were observed in pre-shut-in segment, ranging from 6 to 40 Hz.The other aspect, the energy distribution of water hammer signals was analyzed in different frequency ranges. In 0e1 Hz,an exponential decay was observed in all three segments. In 1-100 Hz,a periodical energy distribution was observed in pre-shut-in segment,an exponential decay was observed in water hammer oscillation, and an even energy distri-bution was observed in leak-off segment. In 100-500 Hz,an even energy distribution was observed in those three segments, yet the highest magnitude was noted in leak-off segment. In this study, the effective frequency range and energy distribution characteristics of the field-sampled water hammer signals in different segments were sufficiently elucidated quantitatively and qualitatively for the first time, laying the groundwork for optimizing the filtering parameters of the field filtering models and advancing the accuracy of identifying downhole event locations.

文摘A new two-step framework is proposed for image segmentation. In the first step, the gray-value distribution of the given image is reshaped to have larger inter-class variance and less intra-class variance. In the sec- ond step, the discriminant-based methods or clustering-based methods are performed on the reformed distribution. It is focused on the typical clustering methods-Gaussian mixture model (GMM) and its variant to demonstrate the feasibility of the framework. Due to the independence of the first step in its second step, it can be integrated into the pixel-based and the histogram-based methods to improve their segmentation quality. The experiments on artificial and real images show that the framework can achieve effective and robust segmentation results.
文摘An approach for color image segmentation is proposed based on the contributions of color features to segmentation rather than the choice of a particular color space. The study shows that the feature encoding approach offers great promise in automating and optimizing the segmentation of color images.

文摘Brain region-of-interesting (ROI) segmentation is an important prerequisite step for many computeraid brain disease analyses. However, the human brain has the complicated anatomical structure.Meanwhile, the brain MR images often suffer from the low intensity contrast around the boundary of ROIs,large inter-subject variance and large inner-subject variance. To address these issues, many multi-atlas based segmentation methods are proposed for brain ROI segmentation in the last decade. In this paper,multi-atlas based methods for brain MR image segmentation were reviewed regarding several registration toolboxes which are widely used in the multi-atlas methods, conventional methods for label fusion, datasets that have been used for evaluating the multiatlas methods,as well as the applications of multi-atlas based segmentation in clinical researches. We propose that incorporating the anatomical prior into the end-to-end deep learning architectures for brain ROI segmentation is an important direction in the future.
