The contents ofMg, Al, Si, Ti, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Cu, Ga, As, Se, Cd, Sb, Pb and Bi in high purity nickel were determined by high resolution inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (HR-ICP-MS). The sample was dissolved in HNO3 and HCI by microwave digestion. Most of the spectral interferences could be avoided by measuring in the high resolution mode. The matrix effects because of the presence of excess HC1 and nickel were evaluated. Correction for matrix effects was made using Sc, Rh and T1 as internal standards. The optimum conditions for the determination were tested and discussed. The detection limits range from 0.012 to 1.76 ~tg/g depending on the type of elements. The applicability of the proposed method is also validated by the analysis of high purity nickel reference material (NIST SRM 671). The relative standard deviation (RSD) is less than 3.3%. Results for determination of trace elements in high purity nickel were presented. 展开更多

For radar high resolution range profile (HRRP) recognition, three aspects are of great importance to improve the performance, i.e. discrimination for outlier, classification for inner and an accurate description for feature space. To tackle these issues, a novel target recognition method is designed, denoted by the multiple support vectors (multi-SV) method. With the proposed method, a special framework is constructed by a treble correlate support vector model to segment the feature space to two regions with the distribution of density, and then the description and classification hyperplane for each region are achieved. Based on the support vector framework, this method needs less memory and computation complexity to fit practical radar HRRP recognition. Finally, the experiment based on the measured data verifies the excellent performance of this method. 展开更多

Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) radar with multicarrier phase-coded waveforms has been recently introduced to achieve high range resolution.The conventional method for obtaining the high resolution range profile(HRRP) is based on matched filters.A method of synthesizing HRRP based on the fast Fourier transform(FFT) and decoding is proposed.The mathematical expressions of HRRP are derived by assuming an elementary scenario of point-scattering targets.Based on the characteristic of OFDM multicarrier signals,it mainly analyzes the influence on HRRP exerted by several factors,such as velocity compensation errors,the sampling frequency offset,and so on.The conclusions are significant for the design of the OFDM imaging radar.Finally,the simulation results demonstrate the validity of the conclusions. 展开更多

In this paper, we present and evaluate an adaptive scheme devised to on-line estimate the target profile, in order to overcome a limited a-priori knowledge. The transmitting antennas are configured as the single phase center multiple azimuth beams (SPC MAB). The formed two beams point to two different directions to obtain two images of the observed scenario. The receiving antennas are configured as displaced phase center multiple azimuth beams (DPC MAB) to decrease the required pulse repetition frequency (PRF). The de- creased PRF can ensure the high resolution wide swath imaging. Based on the analysis of the character of the return signal, a pro- cessing method named multiple beam multiple channel algorithm (MBMCA) is proposed to separate the aliased sub-beams' echoes. The separated echoes are focused respectively to get the revisit imaging to the observed scenario. There is a growing body of research on the swarm unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)in recent years,which has the characteristics of small,low speed,and low height as radar target.To confront the swarm UAV,the design of anti-UAV radar system based on multiple input multiple output(MIMO)is put forward,which can elevate the performance of resolution,angle accuracy,high data rate,and tracking flexibility for swarm UAV detection.Target resolution and detection are the core problem in detecting the swarm UAV.The distinct advantage of MIMO system in angular accuracy measurement is demonstrated by comparing MIMO radar with phased array radar.Since MIMO radar has better performance in resolution,swarm UAV detection still has difficulty in target detection.This paper proposes a multi-mode data fusion algorithm based on deep neural networks to improve the detection effect.Subsequently,signal processing and data processing based on the detection fusion algorithm above are designed,forming a high resolution detection loop.Several simulations are designed to illustrate the feasibility of the designed system and the proposed algorithm. 展开更多

Naphthenic acids (NAs) are complex mixtures of carboxylic acids that are responsible for the corrosivity of the crude oil with high total acid number(TAN).NAs are difficult to analyze due to their complexity and the lack of commercially available NA standards.This paper describes the use of negative-ion electrospray ionization Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (ESI FT-ICR MS) for the analysis of NAs in Liaohe heavy crude oil.FT-ICR MS resolves thousands of species in a single mass spectrum allowing for unambiguous determination of elemental composition.O2 classes (with two O heteroatoms in one molecule) and their carbon number (revealing the extent of alkylation) distribution were detailedly investigated.We find that 2-5 rings NAs is the dominate component of acidic compounds in Liaohe crude oil,espasically with a high abundance of steroid acids and hopanoic acids.Neg-ESI-FTMS is very well suited to the characterization of naphthenic acids within a crude oil sample.Determination of the nature of the naphthenic acids present provides vital information,such as the acids’ sizes and composition. 展开更多

The principle and method of both radar target imaging and velocity measurement simultaneously based on step frequency waveforms is presented. Velocity compensation is necessary in order to obtain the good High resolution range profile since this waveform is greatly sensitive to the Doppler shift. The velocity measurement performance of the four styles is analyzed with two pulse trains consisted of positive and negative step frequency waveforms. The velocity of targets can be estimated first coarsely by using the pulse trains with positive-positive step frequency combination, and then fine by positive-negative combination. Simulation results indicate that the method can accomplish the accurate estimation of the velocity with efficient computation and good anti-noise performance and obtain the good HRRP simultaneously. 展开更多

High resolution range imaging with correlation processing suffers from high sidelobe pedestal in random frequency-hopping wideband radar. After the factors which affect the sidelobe pedestal being analyzed, a compressed sensing based algorithm for high resolution range imaging and a new minimized ll-norm criterion for motion compensation are proposed. The random hopping of the transmitted carrier frequency is converted to restricted isometry property of the observing matrix. Then practical problems of imaging model solution and signal parameter design are resolved. Due to the particularity of the proposed algorithm, two new indicators of range profile, i.e., average signal to sidelobe ratio and local similarity, are defined. The chamber measured data are adopted to testify the validity of the proposed algorithm, and simulations are performed to analyze the precision of velocity measurement as well as the performance of motion compensation. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has such advantages as high precision velocity measurement, low sidelobe and short period imaging, which ensure robust imaging for moving targets when signal-to-noise ratio is above 10 dB. 展开更多

When range high-resolution radar is applied to target recognition,it is quite possible for the high-resolution range profiles(HRRPs)of group targets in a beam to overlap,which reduces the target recognition performance of the radar.In this paper,we propose a group target recognition method based on a weighted mean shift(weighted-MS)clustering method.During the training phase,subtarget features are extracted based on the template database,which is established through simulation or data acquisition,and the features are fed to the support vector machine(SVM)classifier to obtain the classifier parameters.In the test phase,the weighted-MS algorithm is exploited to extract the HRRP of each subtarget.Then,the features of the subtarget HRRP are extracted and used as input in the SVM classifier to be recognized.Compared to the traditional group target recognition method,the proposed method has the advantages of requiring only a small amount of computation,setting parameters automatically,and having no requirement for target motion.The experimental results based on the measured data show that the method proposed in this paper has better recognition performance and is more robust against noise than other recognition methods. 展开更多

The effects of the pre-deformation on the microstructure, mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of Al–Cu–Mg–Ag alloys were investigated by means of hardness tests, tensile tests, intergranullar corrosion (IGC) tests and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), respectively. The results show that with the increase of deformation amount, the aging hardening rate increases while the strength of the alloy decreases and then increases. The sample with a pre-deformation of 6% possesses the highest tensile strength due to the refinedly and homogeneously distributed precipitations. The pre-deformation aging accelerates the heterogeneous nucleation of Ω and θ′ phases at dislocations, and also refines the precipitations both in the grains and along the grain boundaries. The precipitation of Ω phase is restrained while that of θ′ phase is accelerated in pre-deformed Al–Cu–Mg–Ag alloy compared with the sample without pre-deformation. In addition, the width of the precipitate free zone decreases with increasing the pre-deformation amount, leading to a narrower IGC passageway. This results in an enhanced IGC resistance of Al–Cu–Mg–Ag alloy treated by pre-deformation aging. © 2017, Central South University Press and Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany. 展开更多

This paper presents an all-parametric model of radar target in optic region, in which the localized scattering center's frequency and aspect angle dependent scattering level, distance and azimuth locations are modeled as the feature vectors. And the traditional TLS-Prony algorithm is modified to extract these feature vectors. The analysis of Cramer-Rao bound shows that the modified algorithm not only improves the restriction of high signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)threshold of traditional TLS-Prony algorithm, but also is suitable to the extraction of big damped coefficients and high-resolution estimation of near separation poles. Finally, an illustrative example is presented to verify its practicability in the applications. The experimental results show that the method developed can not only recognize two airplane-like targets with similar shape at low SNR, but also compress the original radar data with high fidelity. 展开更多

The method merely requires lower sample frequency, reduces the computational complexity and the data quantity to be processed. In the process of image transmission, the famous JPEG and JPEG-2000 compression methods need more transmission time as it is difficult for them to compress the image with a low compression rate. Recently the compressed sensing(CS) theory was proposed, which has earned great concern as it can compress an image with a low compression rate, meanwhile the original image can be perfectly reconstructed from only a few compressed data. The CS theory is used to transmit the high resolution astronomical image and build the simulation environment where there is communication between the satellite and the Earth. Number experimental results show that the CS theory can effectively reduce the image transmission and reconstruction time. Even with a very low compression rate, it still can recover a higher quality astronomical image than JPEG and JPEG-2000 compression methods. 展开更多

Where-upon, a template library for target recognition is built by the projection of a class-mean vector made from the radar dataonto the subspace for recognition. By Euclidean distance, a comparison is made between the above projection and eachtemplate in the library, to decide which class the target belongs to.
