High-resolution CT-scan data reveals the tooth replacement pattern of the Late Jurassic tyrannosauroid Guanlong wucaii (Dinosauria, Theropoda)

The Tyrannosauridae,which is characterized by specialized pachydont dentition and putative bone-cracking predatory strategies,is one of the most extensively studied theropod lineages.Although tooth replacement patterns,crucial for understanding feeding behaviors,have been thoroughly studied in this group,studies on non-tyrannosaurid tyrannosauroids are relatively scarce.This study utilizes high-resolution CT data to investigate the tooth replacement pattern in two specimens of Guanlong wucaii,a Late Jurassic tyrannosauroid,and provides insights into the evolution of tooth replacement across Tyrannosauroidea.Second-generation replacement teeth,a rarity observed mainly in giant predatory theropods(e.g.some tyrannosaurids),were detected in the dentary dentition of the juvenile Guanlong.Zahnreihen reconstructions display a consistent cephalad alternating tooth replacement pattern in the maxilla and the dentary of both of the examined individuals,with Z-spacing values exceeding 2.0.As Guanlong grows,the Z-spacing value in the maxillary dentition increases,resembling the ontogenetic changes documented in the Tyrannosauridae.Additionally,like Tarbosaurus,Guanlong also displays a discontinuity between the tooth replacement waves at the premaxilla-maxilla boundary.This study thus demonstrates that some tyrannosaurid-like tooth replacement patterns were acquired before the origin of the Tyrannosauridae. 展开更多

目的分析Charcot-Marie-Tooth病(CMT)周围髓鞘蛋白22(PMP22)基因重复异常患者临床症状、体征和电生理特点。方法61例CMT患者,14例为有家族史的先证者,47例为散发患者,PCR-双酶切方法检测周围髓鞘蛋白22(PMP22)基因重复异常片断,详细问... 目的分析Charcot-Marie-Tooth病(CMT)周围髓鞘蛋白22(PMP22)基因重复异常患者临床症状、体征和电生理特点。方法61例CMT患者,14例为有家族史的先证者,47例为散发患者,PCR-双酶切方法检测周围髓鞘蛋白22(PMP22)基因重复异常片断,详细问病史和神经系统查体、部分患者行腰穿和腓肠神经病理检查。结果检出PMP22基因重复异常患者41例,主要临床特点为以双足背屈力弱为主的双下肢无力,伴双侧小腿为主的四肢远端萎缩,80%伴上肢远端肌萎缩,97%踝反射减弱或消失,68%伴有深浅感觉障碍,少数脑脊液蛋白增高,神经电生理和腓肠神经病理提示为脱髓鞘伴有轴索变性。结论PMP22基因重复异常的CMT患者的临床表现为以下肢远端肌萎缩和肌无力为主,伴有感觉异常;周围神经髓鞘和轴索均有病变。 展开更多

A complex geometric modeling method of a helical face gear pair with arc-tooth generated by an arc-profile cutting(APC)disc is proposed,and its tooth contact characteristics are analyzed.Firstly,the spatial coordinate system of an APC face gear pair is established based on meshing theory.Combining the coordinate transformation matrix and the tooth profile of the cutter,the equations of the curve envelope of the APC face gear pair are obtained.Then the surface equations are solved to extract the point clouds data by programming in MATLAB,which contains the work surface and the fillet surface of the APC face gear pair.And the complex geometric model of the APC face gear pair is built by fitting its point clouds.At last,through the analysis of the tooth surface contact,the sensitivity of the APC face gear to the different types of mounting errors is obtained.The results show that the APC face gear pair is the most sensitive to mounting errors in the tooth thickness direction,and it should be strictly controlled in the actual application. 展开更多

臼齿构造(Molartooth),简称MT,是一种仅发育于前寒武纪碳酸盐岩地层中的特殊沉积现象。在全世界的许多地区广泛发育。中国辽宁大连地区新元古代碳酸盐岩中发育了大量的臼齿构造。野外和室内的观察研究将MT形态划分为2大类(原地MT和异地M... 臼齿构造(Molartooth),简称MT,是一种仅发育于前寒武纪碳酸盐岩地层中的特殊沉积现象。在全世界的许多地区广泛发育。中国辽宁大连地区新元古代碳酸盐岩中发育了大量的臼齿构造。野外和室内的观察研究将MT形态划分为2大类(原地MT和异地MT),5亚类(条带状、杆状、蠕虫状、斑状和碎屑状),主要发育浅潮下带—潮间带环境。通过对MT形态及发育的微环境特征分析得出,大连地区MT形态与沉积微环境存在一定的对应关系。泻湖中以MT1-1和MT1-2类型为主,潮间带中部主要发育MT1-3和MT4类型,潮间带中部—潮间带上部常见MT2和MT3类型,浅潮下带风暴浪基面附近或潮间带下部高能环境多见MT5类型。由此推断,在水体安静并且陆源碎屑物质干扰小的环境中,容易产生平直或弯曲的宽、长条带状MT,而在动荡的水体中或是陆源碎屑物质含量高的环境中,往往形成短小的MT。因此,MT的形态类型一定程度受到沉积水动力条件和陆源碎屑物质混入的影响。此外,大量的陆源碎屑物质的混入或抑制MT形成或减小MT的发育规模。 展开更多

目的探讨X-连锁隐性遗传Charcot-Marie-Tooth病5型(CMTX 5)表型和基因型特点。方法回顾分析1例确诊CMTX 5患儿的临床资料,并复习相关文献。结果患儿男,自幼听力丧失,6岁时行走无力,步态异常,并进行性加重。肌电图提示多发性周围神经源... 目的探讨X-连锁隐性遗传Charcot-Marie-Tooth病5型(CMTX 5)表型和基因型特点。方法回顾分析1例确诊CMTX 5患儿的临床资料,并复习相关文献。结果患儿男,自幼听力丧失,6岁时行走无力,步态异常,并进行性加重。肌电图提示多发性周围神经源性损害肌电改变,主要累及感觉、运动神经轴索损害伴脱髓鞘。基因测序提示PRPS1基因存在c.344 T>C半合子变异,患儿母亲该位点为杂合变异,父亲无异常。该变异位点既往已有报道,与以往报道的表型不完全相同,该患儿无视力受损。文献检索到8例CMTX 5患者,8种基因型,均为错义突变,8例患者均有听力丧失和周围神经病,4例出现视力障碍。结论即使CMTX 5的基因型相同,临床表型也不尽相同,表型与基因型相关性需进一步大样本研究。 展开更多

A dynamic model of a helical gear rotor system is proposed.Firstly,a generally distributed dynamic model of a helical gear pair with tooth profile errors is developed.The gear mesh is represented by a pair of cylinders connected by a series of springs and the stiffness of each spring is equal to the effective mesh stiffness.Combining the gear dynamic model with the rotor-bearing system model,the gear-rotor-bearing dynamic model is developed.Then three cases are presented to analyze the dynamic responses of gear systems.The results reveal that the gear dynamic model is effective and advanced for general gear systems,narrow-faced gear,wide-faced gear and gear with tooth profile errors.Finally,the responses of an example helical gear system are also studied to demonstrate the influence of the lead crown reliefs and misalignments.The results show that both of the lead crown relief and misalignment soften the gear mesh stiffness and the responses of the gear system increase with the increasing lead crown reliefs and misalignments. 展开更多

Cycloid speed reducers are widely used in many industrial areas due to the advantages of compact size, high reduction ratio and high stiffness. However, currently, there are not many analytical models for the mesh stiffness calculation, which is a crucial parameter for the high-fidelity gear dynamic model. This is partially due to the difficulty of backlash determination and the complexity of multi-tooth contact deformation during the meshing process. In this paper, a new method to calculate the mesh stiffness is proposed including the effects of tooth profile modification and eccentricity error. The time-varying mesh parameters and load distribution of cycloid-pin gear pair are determined based on the unloaded tooth contact analysis (TCA) and the nonlinear Hertzian contact theory, allowing accurate calculations of the contact stiffness of single tooth pair and the torsional stiffness of multi-tooth pairs. A detailed parametric study is presented to demonstrate the influences of tooth profile modification, applied torque and eccentricity error on the torsional mesh stiffness, loaded transmission error, Hertzian contact stiffness and load sharing factor. This model can be applied to further study the lost motion and dynamic characteristics of cycloid speed reducer and assist the optimization of its precision, vibration and noise levels. 展开更多

In this work,synchronous cutting of concave and convex surfaces was achieved using the duplex helical method for the hypoid gear,and the problem of tooth surface error correction was studied.First,the mathematical model of the hypoid gears machined by the duplex helical method was established.Second,the coordinates of discrete points on the tooth surface were obtained by measurement center,and the normal errors of the discrete points were calculated.Third,a tooth surface error correction model is established,and the tooth surface error was corrected using the Levenberg-Marquard algorithm with trust region strategy and least square method.Finally,grinding experiments were carried out on the machining parameters obtained by Levenberg-Marquard algorithm with trust region strategy,which had a better effect on tooth surface error correction than the least square method.After the tooth surface error is corrected,the maximum absolute error is reduced from 30.9μm before correction to 6.8μm,the root mean square of the concave error is reduced from 15.1 to 2.1μm,the root mean square of the convex error is reduced from 10.8 to 1.8μm,and the sum of squared errors of the concave and convex surfaces was reduced from 15471 to 358μm^(2).It is verified that the Levenberg-Marquard algorithm with trust region strategy has a good accuracy for the tooth surface error correction of hypoid gear machined by duplex helical method. 展开更多

A novel spiral non-circular bevel gear that could be applied to variable-speed driving in intersecting axes was proposed by combining the design principles of non-circular bevel gears and the manufacturing principles of face-milling spiral bevel gears.Unlike straight non-circular bevel gears,spiral non-circular bevel gears have numerous advantages,such as a high contact ratio,high intensity,good dynamic performance,and an adjustable contact region.In addition,while manufacturing straight non-circular bevel gears is difficult,spiral non-circular bevel gears can be efficiently and precisely fabricated with a 6-axis bevel gear cutting machine.First,the generating principles of spiral non-circular bevel gears were introduced.Next,a mathematical model,including a generating tooth profile,tooth spiral,pressure angle,and generated tooth profile for this gear type was established.Then the precision of the model was verified by a tooth contact analysis using FEA,and the contact patterns and stress distributions of the spiral non-circular bevel gears were investigated. 展开更多

Form milling cutter is built-for-purpose cutter which process the form surface, for example, usually process male and female circular arc face and form trench and so on. From the traditional concept, form milling cutter is divided into pointed tooth and relieving follow its structure. Relieving shaped cutter is more convenient than pointed tooth milling cutter, because only its rake face is needed to grind after it turn into blunting, so the current books which are used in college almost select relieving shaped cutter in order to introduce how to design the form milling cutter.The curve of the back of tooth of relieving cutter is the transversal which is formed by the rear face of tooth in the end cut plane of the milling cutter. In the past, because of the limit of the manufacturing technology, the curve of the back of tooth is often selected Archimedes’ curve, in order that the shovel-nose tool acquire the uniform motion when the cutter shovel the back, in other word, the rear face of the milling cutter rotate its axis by the new cutting lip, in the same time, it move uniformly to the axis in order to form the surface. Although this curve of the back of tooth meet the fixedness of the form of blade around grinding the cutter, the rear angle of the dot of the cutting lip don’t keep fixedness. With the development of the modern manufacturing technology, the unmanageable problem of many complex curves is already easily solved. So it is need to study the optimum profile of the curve of the back of tooth in theory, and study the design theory of the relieving shaped cutter under the condition of new manufacture, in order to ensure that the rear angle of the dot of the cutting lip keep fixedness after the relieving shaped cutter is grinded. The paper derive the curve profile of tooth of the form cutter and the modifier calculation formula of the profile of the cutter edge from the definition of the rear angle of the cutter, which establish the foundation for the precision design and manufacture of other form cutter. 展开更多

The equation of undercutting condition was derived from the model. A special epicycloidal tooth profile was also presented. An example gear drive with variation of the ellipse parameters was taken to illustrate the proposed method. The contact ratio of the gear drive designed by the proposed method was analyzed. A comparison of the property of the gear drive designed with the involute gear drive was also carried out. The results confirm that the proposed gear drive has higher contact ratio in comparison with the involute gear drive. 展开更多

目的 :比较研究幼鼠和成年鼠正畸牙齿移动过程中的牙根吸收。方法 :本研究包括两组大鼠 ,其中幼鼠 30只 (年龄约 6周 ) ,成年鼠 30只 (年龄约 912个月 )。大鼠上颌牙一侧用于实验侧 ,另一侧用于对照。实验侧的三颗磨牙用结扎丝颌粘接剂... 目的 :比较研究幼鼠和成年鼠正畸牙齿移动过程中的牙根吸收。方法 :本研究包括两组大鼠 ,其中幼鼠 30只 (年龄约 6周 ) ,成年鼠 30只 (年龄约 912个月 )。大鼠上颌牙一侧用于实验侧 ,另一侧用于对照。实验侧的三颗磨牙用结扎丝颌粘接剂固为一个整体 ,在超弹性拉簧作用下 (力值为 0 .1牛顿 )向切牙侧移动。 1,2 ,4 ,8和 12周时给予大鼠过量麻醉剂 ,材料用于组织学研究。上颌第一磨牙的近中颊侧根为根吸收研究对象。压力侧和张力侧的牙根吸收程度在显微镜下进行长度测量。实验侧与对照侧 ,压力侧与张力侧 ,幼鼠与成年鼠之间的牙根吸收程度分别以实验时间为参照 ,在统计学手段下进行了组间和组内分析和比较 ,以探讨牙齿移动时间和年龄因素对于牙根吸收的影响。结果 :实验侧的牙根吸收在幼鼠与成年鼠之间在 1,2 ,4 ,8周时均没有统计学差异。而在第 12周时 ,成年鼠实验侧牙根吸收大于幼鼠 (P <0 .0 5 )。成年鼠实验组压力侧的牙根吸收明显大于对照组压力侧 ,而在幼鼠组没有发现这一差异。两组年龄幼鼠的实验组其压力侧和张力侧的牙根吸收均高度相关。结论 :相对于对照侧 ,正畸牙齿移动并没有在幼鼠的实验侧诱发更多的牙根吸收。在成年鼠 ,长期的正畸作用力倾向于诱发更多的牙根吸收。这些研究结果表明对于正? 展开更多

Little is known about the response of these curves to treatment. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the results of spinal surgery in these peculiar patients. Methods: We retrospectively evaluated the results of spinal surgery in eight patients who had scoliosis due to clinically and electrophysiologically proven Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. Radiographs were reviewed. The location and direction of the curve pattern, the age at the time of surgery, type of surgery, number of levels fused, instrumentations used, intra or postoperative complications, and results and need for reoperation were recorded. Results: Eight patients associated with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease who underwent scoliotic surgery were identified. The average age and curve at the time of surgery were 21.1 years and 56.4° respectively. 62.5% of the curves had left thoracic component and more than one third was associated with thoracic hyperkyphosis. Long posterior spinal fusion was performed most often, with an average of 11.5 spinal segments fused. Instrumentation was used in all posterior fusions. At an average of 39 months (range, 24 to 72 months) postoperatively, the fusion appeared to be solid in all patients. Conclusion: Scoliosis in patients with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease differs from that in patients with idiopathic scoliosis in regarding to the etiology and the prevalence of thoracic hyperkyphosis, but the surgical management appears to be similar. Spondylodesis does not appear to be associated with a high rate of complications. 展开更多

The contact characteristics of the rough tooth surface during the meshing process are significantly affected by the lubrication state.The coupling effect of tooth surface roughness and lubrication on meshing characteristics of planetary gear is studied.An improved three-dimensional(3 D)anisotropic tooth surface roughness fractal model is proposed based on the experimental parameters.Considering asperity contact and elastohydrodynamic lubrication(EHL),the contact load and flexibility deformation of the tooth surface are derived,and the deformation compatibility equation of the 3 D loaded tooth contact analysis(3 D-LTCA)method is improved.The asperity of the tooth surface changes the system from EHL to mixed lubrication and reduces the stiffness of the oil film.Compared with the sun planet gear,the asperity has a greater effect on the meshing characteristics of the ring-planet gear.Compared with the proposed method,the comprehensive stiffness obtained by the traditional calculation method considering the lubrication effect is smaller,especially for the ring-planet gear.Compared with roughness,speed and viscosity,the meshing characteristics of planetary gears are most sensitive to torque. 展开更多

【目的】解决现阶段玉米籽粒收获过程中籽粒破碎率和未脱净率高的问题,满足黄淮海地区玉米籽粒收获的要求。【方法】设计了纵轴流开式玉米脱粒装置,搭配钉齿式脱粒元件,将其按螺旋等间距排列的方式分布在辐条上。通过EDEM软件对脱粒装... 【目的】解决现阶段玉米籽粒收获过程中籽粒破碎率和未脱净率高的问题,满足黄淮海地区玉米籽粒收获的要求。【方法】设计了纵轴流开式玉米脱粒装置,搭配钉齿式脱粒元件,将其按螺旋等间距排列的方式分布在辐条上。通过EDEM软件对脱粒装置进行仿真分析,确定较佳的滚筒转速参数。以滚筒转速、喂入量、含水率为试验因素对脱粒装置进行单因素试验,得到较优的参数组合:滚筒转速为350.00 r⋅min^(-1)、喂入量为8.00 kg⋅s^(-1)、含水率为25.90%±1%。【结果】正交试验确定了影响的主次因素,先后依次为含水率、滚筒转速、喂入量。当滚筒转速为400 r⋅min^(-1)、喂入量为8.66 kg⋅s^(-1)、含水率为15.90%时,破碎率为3.99%、未脱净率为0.39%,脱粒装置台架验证试验得出该参数组合下破碎率和未脱净率分别为4.27%和0.51%,其中破碎率与理论优化值相差0.28%、未脱净率与理论优化值相差0.12%,试验结果与理论优化值非常接近。【结论】符合国家玉米籽粒直收的标准要求,为玉米籽粒收获机的研制提供了理论依据和新的研究思路。 展开更多

针对采用光学相干层析(OCT)技术进行体积较大的前磨牙和磨牙的隐裂检测时,仅从单一扫描视角采集可能存在误检或漏检的问题,提出一种双树复小波变换(DTCWT)与稀疏表示(SR)相结合的牙隐裂三维图像融合方法。利用扫频OCT对人工牙隐裂模型从... 针对采用光学相干层析(OCT)技术进行体积较大的前磨牙和磨牙的隐裂检测时,仅从单一扫描视角采集可能存在误检或漏检的问题,提出一种双树复小波变换(DTCWT)与稀疏表示(SR)相结合的牙隐裂三维图像融合方法。利用扫频OCT对人工牙隐裂模型从2个扫描视角进行成像,经过三维图像配准后,利用双树复小波变换对图像进行分解。对于低频子带进行稀疏表示,采用“最大L1范数”规则进行融合,高频子带采用“绝对最大”规则融合,最后通过DTCWT重构得到融合后的图像。实验结果表明:采用本文方法融合后的牙隐裂图像可以得到裂纹的完整信息,获得准确的定位和分级,各方面性能均优于单独采用各多尺度分解方法和稀疏表示方法,标准差(SD)、平均梯度(AG)、空间频率(SF)和边缘信息评价因子(Q)的值分别平均提高到36.7、6.0、27.9和0.74,有效提高了OCT牙隐裂检测的准确性。 展开更多
