The operational laws of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers are introduced, and the score function and accuracy function are presented to compare the intuitionistic fuzzy numbers. The intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted averaging (IFOWA) operator which is an extension of the well-known ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operator is investigated to aggregate the intuitionistic fuzzy information. In order to determine the weights of intuitionistic fuzzy ordered weighted averaging operator, a linear goal programming procedure is proposed for learning the weights from data. Finally, an example is illustrated to verify the effectiveness and practicability of the developed method.展开更多

Three classes of typical state constraints, i.e., linear equality, quadratic equality and inequality, are discussed. By using the linear relationships among different state variables, a reduced-order Kalman filter is derived for the system with linear equality constraints. Afterwards, such a solution is applied to the cases of the quadratic equality constraint and inequality constraints and the two constrained state filtering problems are transformed into two relative constrained optimization problems. Then they are solved by the Lagrangian multiplier and linear matrix inequality techniques, respectively. Finally, two simple tracking examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the reduced-order filters.展开更多

By introducing the H2 norm of the transfer function from disturbance to estimation error, sufficient and necessary conditions for disturbance decoupling in matrix second-order linear systems are established and are arranged into constraints on the design parameters via Luenberger function observers in terms of the closed-loop eigenvalues and the group of design parameters provided by the eigenstructure assignment approach. Therefore, the disturbance decoupling problem is converted into an eigenstructure assignment problem with extra parameter constraints. A simple example is investigated to show the effect and simplicity of the approach.展开更多

The generalizations of the usual complete solution formulae of the fractional-order linear control systems are derived not only for time-invariant case but also for time-varying case. Several sufficient and necessary conditions for state controllability of such systems are established and the corresponding criteria for fractional-order time-invariant continuous-time systems are also obtained. To use commonly wideband linear array with tapped delay line (TDL) structure and complex weights, the FIB design is provided according to the rule of minimizing the sidelobe level of the beampattern at the reference frequency while keeping the distortionless response constraint in the mainlobe direction at the reference frequency, the norm constraint of the weight vector and the amplitude constraint of the averaged spatial response variation (SRV). This kind of beamformer design problem can be solved with the interior-point method after being converted to the form of standard second order cone programming (SOCP). The computer simulations are presented which illustrate the effectiveness of our FIB design method for the wideband linear array with TDL structure and complex weights.展开更多
