Investigating the influence of radiation on glass fibre composites is essential for their use in space and aerospace environment.Gaining insight into the damage mechanisms caused by gamma irradiation,can improve the safety and resilience of structures.This paper is aimed at investigating the failure mode and damage of gamma-irradiated repurposed pultruded glass fibre-reinforced polyester subjected to lowvelocity impact using three types of non-destructive techniques.Three sets of differently layered configurations(CRC,WCRW,W2CR2C)consisting of chopped(c),roving(r),and weaved(w)fibre-reinforced polyester are applied in this study.Drop hammer test is applied to evaluate the low-impact resistance properties of Gamma-irradiated composite at 100 kGy,500 kGy,and 1000 kGy.Preliminary flexural and hardness tests are conducted to further assess the behaviour of irradiated polymer composites.Further,the damage modes associated with the low-impact test are characterised using infrared thermography,flat panel digital radiography,and microscope observation.The results show that the composites irradiated with various doses display good impact resistance at 20 J,presenting minor damages in the form of dents on the surface.The irradiated CRC and WCRW display best impact resistance at 500 kGy,while W2CR2C at 1000 kGy.This shows that the layering sequence of reinforcement fibre can influence the impact resistance of irradiated composites.Apart from that,the application of non-destructive techniques show different damage mechanisms in the form resin cracks,yarn splitting/fracture,and matrix splitting when the composites are exposed at high and low irradiation doses.These findings offer valuable data for the defence industry,particularly in the areas of repair,maintenance,and the development of new materials. 展开更多

Factors on degradation of chlorothalonil(CLT) in water by high frequency ultrasonic irradiation were investigated.The effects of initial concentration of chlorothalonil,dosages of tertiary butyl alcohol,humic acid and initial pH value on degradation of chlorothalonil,as well as the reaction mechanism were studied.The results reveal that chlorothalonil could be effectively degradated by ultrasonic irradiation.The reaction constant value kapp decreased from 0.014 1 to 0.010 2 min-1 with the initial concentration increasing from 50 to 400 μg/L during 180 min irradiation.Tertiary butyl alcohol had negative effect on chlorothalonil degradation,while lower concentration of humic acid promoted the sonolysis,and kapp declined with the further concentration increasing.The kapp varied little when the pH value ranged from 3.10 to 10.28.It may be concluded that mechanical and pyrolysis process played main roles on the degradation of chlorothalonil in ultrasonic irradiation rather than ·OH attack.The electrical energy per order(EEo) values for sonolysis degradation of CLT were also calculated to evaluate the cost of the process. 展开更多

Systematic experiments about the antitumor effects of low energy laser irradiation combined with the traditional antitumor medicine of cyclophosphamide were conducted using the experimental model of mouse S180 ascites sarcoma.The three groups of tumor bearing mice were irradiated upon the inner corners with the dosages of 11 00,14 67 and 22 00 J·cm -2 LELI respectively,and injected with CYT intraperitoneally to observe the changes of the survival time,the ascites growth speed,and the kinetic changes of immune functions.The survival times of the three groups of CYT/LELI combination were obviously longer than those of the tumor and CYT control groups.Correspondingly,the amounts of ascites,tumor cells densities and total tumor cells in CYT/LELI groups decreased significantly,while the death ratio of the tumor cells increased.Comparatively,the group of 22 00 J·cm -2 LELI combined with CYT showed the most ideal antitumor effects,and the life prolongation ratio was up to 53 20%. 展开更多

Based on the starch hydrolysis reaction accelerated by microwave irradiation with α-amylase, the circular dichroism (CD) and secondary structure changes of α-amylase under the condition of microwave irradiation and water bath were studied by circular dichroism spectra. The results showed that, both the peak heights (at 2=193 nm) of the CD spectra of the samples treated by microwave irradiation and water bath reduced. The reduced rate by microwave irradiation ranged from 140% to 220%, while the reduced rate by water bath ranged from 60% to 140%. The peak of the sample treated by microwave irradiation for 60 min disappeared at λ=193 nm, while the sample showed a wake peak by water bath. The peak position by microwave irradiation emerged a blue shift in the range of 5-8 nm at λ=204 nm and λ=220 nm, while it emerged in the range of 3-5 nm by water bath. With time going on, the microwave irradiation and water bath have prompted the secondary structure of α-helix, β-sheet, β-turn and the mutual transformations of random coil, but the trends were different. 展开更多

In laser-guided bomb attacking process,the target indication from the laser target designator is the premise for the bomb to hit the target accurately.Considering the lack of quantitative study of the irradiation area of the laser target designator,this paper,based on the existing aircraft motion model and the laser transmission model,uses two aircraft as respectively the carrier of the laser-guided bomb and the carrier of the laser designator and proposes a method to calculate the global irradiation area of the airborne laser designator.By using the proposed algorithm,the global irradiation area when attacking a large flat target or a large spherical target is simulated respectively.Finally,according to the simulation results,the influences of different factors on the shapes of the irradiation area are discussed in detail. 展开更多

PA6/PTFE blends with varying polytetrafluoroethylene content from 3% to 15%(mass fraction) were irradiated by 60Co gamma-ray with various doses(20,50 and 100 kGy) under ambient conditions.Moisture absorption test,U-notched Charpy impact test and quasi-static tension and bending were conducted to investigate the effect of irradiation on moisture absorption and mechanical properties of the blends.It is shown that the exposure of the blend to 60Co irradiation improves the tensile modulus,tensile strength and flexural modulus due to irradiation induced cross-linking in PA6 phase.However,the Charpy impact strength of the blends is much lower than that of the original PA6 and it decreases slightly with the increase of irradiation dose.Moreover,the flexural modulus increases to a maximum value and then decreases with further increasing the PTFE content,and the moisture absorption decreases with the increase of the PTFE content and irradiation dose. 展开更多

The reductive perturbation method is applied to investigate the dust acoustic soliton in dusty plasmas with streaming ions under ultraviolet irradiation theoretically and numerically.The self-consistent dust charge variation is taken into account.It is shown that the ultraviolet irradiation can significantly lower the magnitude of the dust negative charge,and ion streaming velocity firstly raise the magnitude of the dust negative charge and then lower it.With the growth of(Ultraviolet) UV photo flux or ion streaming velocity,the phase velocity and width of the solitary waves decrease, whereas its amplitude increases. 展开更多

The introduction of strain In_(x)Ga_(1-x)As channel with high In content increases the confinement of the two-dimensional electron gas(2DEG)and further improves the high-frequency performance of InGaAs/InAlAs/InP HEMTs.The effect of In_(x)Ga_(1-x)As channel with different In contents on electron irradiation tolerance of InP-based HEMT structures in terms of 2DEG mobility and density has been investigated.The experiment results show that,after the same high electron irradiation dose,the 2DEG mobility and density in InP-based HEMT structures with strain In_(x)Ga_(1-x)As(x>0.53)channel decrease more dramatically than that without strain In_(0.53)Ga_(0.47)As channel.Moreover,the degradation of 2DEG mobility and density becomes more severe as the increase of In content and strain in the In_(x)Ga_(1-x)As channel.The research results can provide some suggestions for the design of radiation-resistant InP-based HEMTs. 展开更多

钨在受到氦离子辐照时,近表面形成的氦泡随着辐照进行逐渐长大、破裂。在不同辐照条件下,钨表面随着氦泡活动而产生不同程度的损伤。氦离子辐照除使钨内部形成氦泡,还会形成位错环、空洞等缺陷。与氦离子辐照相似,中子辐照也会使钨中产... 钨在受到氦离子辐照时,近表面形成的氦泡随着辐照进行逐渐长大、破裂。在不同辐照条件下,钨表面随着氦泡活动而产生不同程度的损伤。氦离子辐照除使钨内部形成氦泡,还会形成位错环、空洞等缺陷。与氦离子辐照相似,中子辐照也会使钨中产生缺陷并与位错相互作用,影响钨的塑韧性。钨作为未来面向等离子体偏滤器首选材料,需克服高能粒子带来的辐照损伤及由其产生的性能变化。针对辐照对钨基材料微观结构演化及变形行为的影响机制,本文对钨基材料受到氦离子辐照所产生的表面损伤及组织演化进行阐述,并对近年钨抗辐照性能,如抗辐照损伤、抗辐照硬化等方面的改善方式进行总结,其中钨抗辐照性能的提升方式以合金化和第二相掺杂为主,并对其他改性方式进行简要的总结叙述,为未来钨基材料在辐照方面的研究提供参照。 展开更多

低表面能氟碳聚合物及涂层是一种有效阻止空间油脂润滑剂扩散迁移的关键材料,为空间高精度长寿命油脂润滑活动机构和重大工程任务及系统的稳定可靠运行提供了重要保障。采用真空电子辐照测试系统对氟碳聚合物辐照前后在不同金属基体表... 低表面能氟碳聚合物及涂层是一种有效阻止空间油脂润滑剂扩散迁移的关键材料,为空间高精度长寿命油脂润滑活动机构和重大工程任务及系统的稳定可靠运行提供了重要保障。采用真空电子辐照测试系统对氟碳聚合物辐照前后在不同金属基体表面形成的涂层的接触角、表面能,以及热分解温度、官能团、元素化学态和化学键等的变化进行了研究。结果表明:经过3.5×10^(5)rad(Si)电子辐照后,聚合物涂层的表面能较辐照前仅增加了约1 mN/m,随着辐照剂量继续增加至9×10^(6)rad(Si)和1.8×10^(7)rad(Si),表面能变化不明显,趋于稳定。聚合物的TG曲线与辐照前的变化趋势相同,且分解温度较为接近;辐照后-C=O键、C-H键和C-F键等主要官能团的特征吸收峰的位置未发生明显变化;辐照前后氟碳聚合物材料的元素组成和特征峰位置相同,氟碳聚合物材料辐照后的特征峰值强度较辐照前略微减弱,但分子结构相对稳定,化学键未发生明显变化,仍具有优异的耐电子辐照特性。 展开更多

基于高温黑体辐射源和双光栅光谱辐射比较测量系统,中国计量科学研究院自主研制了新一代光谱辐射照度国家基准装置,波长范围覆盖230~2550 nm,以一组稳定的卤钨灯作为副基准灯组,保存和传递光谱辐射照度量值。黑体的温度溯源至铂-碳Pt-C... 基于高温黑体辐射源和双光栅光谱辐射比较测量系统,中国计量科学研究院自主研制了新一代光谱辐射照度国家基准装置,波长范围覆盖230~2550 nm,以一组稳定的卤钨灯作为副基准灯组,保存和传递光谱辐射照度量值。黑体的温度溯源至铂-碳Pt-C和铼-碳Re-C共晶点黑体,在3021 K采用钨碳-碳WC-C共晶点黑体进行验证。采用新基准装置,2017年-2019年NIM参加国际计量局组织的光谱辐射照度国际关键比对CCPR-K1.a,比对由全俄光学物理学测量研究院(VNIIOFI)主导,共有12个实验室参加。比对结果表明:除少数实验室外,在250~290、300~1300、1500~2500 nm波长范围,各参比实验室之间的一致性分别为±2.0%、±1.0%和±2.0%。在紫外、可见和近红外波段,NIM与国际比对参考值的平均相对偏差分别为0.13%、0.28%和0.15%。在250~2500 nm全波段,NIM与国际比对参考值的平均相对偏差为0.17%,与2004年平均相对偏差0.9%相比,测量能力提升显著。 展开更多

基于2022年FY-4A地表太阳入射辐射产品和同期地面气象站辐射观测资料,分析FY-4A反演辐射产品在宁夏银川的适用性,探讨其在银川太阳能资源短临预报中的应用情况,结果表明,2022年全年FY-4A整点总辐照度与银川气象站地面观测总辐照度整体... 基于2022年FY-4A地表太阳入射辐射产品和同期地面气象站辐射观测资料,分析FY-4A反演辐射产品在宁夏银川的适用性,探讨其在银川太阳能资源短临预报中的应用情况,结果表明,2022年全年FY-4A整点总辐照度与银川气象站地面观测总辐照度整体变化趋势基本一致,但FY-4A辐照度整体较地面观测偏高6.5%,且其变化幅度小于地面观测;除5、6、12月份外,其他各月FY-4A整点辐照度月平均值均较地面观测高,7—11月份两者差异最大;08:00—10:00和16:00—18:00FY-4A与地面观测辐照度差异较大,11:00—15:00两者差异较小;日照时数小于9 h时,FY-4A辐照度高于地面观测,大于等于9 h时,FY-4A低于地面观测;雨、雾、雪和霾天气下FY-4A辐照度较地面观测高,大风、扬沙、浮尘时FY-4A较地面观测低;基于FY-4A辐射产品的银川太阳能短临预报,随预报时间步长增加,均方根误差呈先缓慢增加后逐渐减小变化趋势,平均相对误差呈逐渐增大变化特点,相关系数无明显波动;全年整点预报时刻来看,12:00、15:00均方根误差略低,13:00、14:00均方根误差略高,4个时刻预报与实测辐照度相关性均较好;夏季预报效果较其他季节差。 展开更多
