摘要
徐霞客晚年毅然选择万里西行,完成了其成果最丰硕的一次出游。《徐霞客游记》记录了西南各民族衣食住行、生产生活、风俗习惯和语言文化,成为反映晚明社会生活的“百科全书”,字里行间体现出徐霞客爱之如一的民族平等观、和合共生的民族互助观、美美与共的民族和谐观和天下一家的大一统观。以正确的中华民族历史观为基点,以“一次文献”——《徐霞客游记》为实证文本,爬梳、分析晚明西南各民族交往交流交融的史料,探究徐霞客民族观的形成机理、思想内涵,进而探寻西南少数民族融入以华夏为核心的中华民族共同体的历史轨迹。研究徐霞客西南万里遐征,对了解中华民族多元一体格局的形成、巩固和发展具有历史和现实启示意义。
XU Xia-ke resolutely chose to travel thousands of miles westward,which turned out to be his most fruitful journey.The Travels of XU Xia-ke depicts the clothing,food,housing,transportation,production,customs,language and culture of various ethnic groups in southwest China.It serves as an“encyclopaedia”reflecting social life in the late Ming Dynasty,and between the lines,it embodies XU Xia-ke’s views on Minzu:equal love for all ethnic groups,mutual assistance based on harmony and coexistence,ethnic harmony featuring appreciation of each other’s beauty,and the concept of great unity that the whole world is one family.Based on a correct view of the history of the Chinese nation and taking the travel notes-a“primary source”as empirical texts,sorting out and analyzing historical materials and facts about the exchanges,communication and integration of various ethnic groups in southwest China during the late Ming Dynasty can provide historical references and practical enlightenment for us to explore the formation mechanism and ideological connotation of XU Xia-ke’s views on Minzu,further trace the historical track of southwest ethnic minorities integrating into the community for Chinese nation with Huaxia as the core,and understand the formation,consolidation,and development of the pluralistic unity pattern of the Chinese nation.
