摘要
客户是企业数字化转型战略的重要利益相关者。采用2011—2022年沪深A股上市公司样本,考察客户稳定性对企业数字化转型的影响及作用机制。研究发现:随着客户稳定性由低到高的转变,企业数字化转型水平呈现先上升后下降的非线性演化趋势,即客户稳定性对企业数字化转型存在倒U型影响。机制分析发现,转型模仿度、认知灵活性和资源约束性在客户稳定性与数字化转型之间发挥中介作用。进一步研究表明,供应链网络中心度、客户地理距离和供应链冗余能有效削弱客户稳定性对企业数字化转型的倒U型影响。当企业兼具高供应链网络中心度、与客户地理距离较远和高供应链冗余特征时,客户稳定性对企业数字化转型的影响将由倒U型转为正向线性。研究结论拓展了客户关系与企业数字化转型之间的非线性逻辑,为企业优化客户关系管理、完善数字化转型战略提供了经验证据和理论指引。
Customers are key stakeholders in a company's digital transformation strategy.Using data from Chinese A-share listed companies between 2011 and 2022,this study examines customer stability's impact on corporate digital transformation and its mechanisms.The findings reveal a nonlinear relationship:as customer stability increases from low to high,the level of digital transformation initially rises and then declines.This suggests that customer stability has an inverted U-shaped effect on enterprise digital transformation.Furthermore,mechanism analysis shows that the degree of transformation imitation,cognitive flexibility,and resource constraints play an intermediary role.Additionally,supply chain network centrality,customer geographic distance,and supply chain redundancy can weaken customer stability's inverted U-shaped impact on a firm's digital transformation.When an enterprise has high centrality of the supply chain network,long geographical distance from customers,and high supply chain redundancy,the impact of customer stability on its digital transformation changes from an inverted U-shaped to a positive linear relationship.This study's conclusions expand on the nonlinear dynamics between customer relationship and digital transformation.This article provides empirical evidence and theoretical guidance for enterprises to optimize their customer relationship management and improve their digital transformation strategies.
