摘要
大学英语课程是本科教育阶段重要的公共基础课程,但其课程目标、性质和定位长期以来存在争议。该文基于合法化语码理论,分析大学英语课程具有知者(knower)语码特征,即强社会、弱认知关系,因此,大学英语课程更强调素养而非知识的获得,结合大学英语课程知识目标泛化、知识结构水平化等问题,分析得出以构建核心素养为目的的课堂教学是解决问题的关键,最后提出落实以核心素养培养为目的的大学英语课堂教学的具体途径。
English courses in undergraduate education are significant public foundational courses,yet their objectives,nature,and position have been subject to long-standing debates.Based on Legitimation Code Theory(LCT),it is analyzed that college English courses exhibit characteristics of the knower code,implying strong social and weak cognitive relationships;thus,they emphasize competence acquisition over mere knowledge attainment,further analysis of issues like the generalization of knowledge objectives and the leveling of knowledge structures in college English courses leads to the conclusion that constructing classroom instruction aimed at core competencies is key to addressing these problems,finally,concrete approaches to implementing college English classrooms focused on core competencies are proposed.
