摘要
人工智能技术作为新一代信息通信技术的核心,正成为引领中国经济高质量发展的核心驱动力。文章基于2007—2022年中国285个地级市的面板数据,探讨人工智能对经济高质量发展的影响及其作用机制。研究结果表明:人工智能显著促进了经济高质量发展,并且通过了多项稳健性检验;机制分析表明,人工智能主要通过创业驱动效应和创新驱动效应赋能经济高质量发展;门槛效应表明,在不同人工智能水平、产业集聚水平和信息化水平下,人工智能对经济高质量发展的影响具有非线性特征;异质性检验表明,人工智能对东部地区、大型城市、高经济维度以及高科技水平地区的经济高质量发展具有更大的提升效应。基于研究结论,应深化人工智能与经济高质量发展的深度融合,激发人工智能创业及创新动力,加强财政支持与政策引导,有效破解技术应用门槛,促进人工智能与经济高质量发展的深度协同,进而实现区域经济的可持续增长。
As the core of the new generation of information and communication technologies,artificial intelligence(AI)has become a key driver of China's high-quality economic development.Using panel data from 285 prefecture-level cities in China from 2007 to 2022,this study investigates the impact of AI on high-quality economic development and ex-plores its underlying mechanisms.The results show that AI significantly promotes high-quality economic development,and the findings are robust across multiple tests.Mechanism analysis indicates that AI primarily facilitates development through entrepreneurial and innovation-driven effects.Threshold effect tests reveal that the impact of AI exhibits nonlin-ear characteristics depending on the levels of AI development,industrial agglomeration,and informatization.Heterogen-eity analysis shows that AI exerts a stronger positive effect in eastern regions,large cities,economically advanced areas,and regions with higher technological capabilities.Based on these findings,the study recommends further integration of AI with high-quality economic development,the stimulation of AI-driven entrepreneurship and innovation,increased fiscal support and policy guidance,the removal of technological application barriers,and the promotion of deeper synergy between AI and economic development to achieve sustainable regional growth.
