摘要
以智慧城市试点为背景,基于长江经济带72个试点地级市2012-2021年的面板数据,构建空间杜宾模型和中介效应模型,实证分析数字经济对新型城镇化的影响机理及智慧城市的中介效应。结果表明:(1)新型城镇化具有空间溢出效应,且数字经济可以显著推动新型城镇化进程;(2)智慧城市在数字经济影响新型城镇化的过程中发挥了中介作用;(3)数字经济对新型城镇化的影响效用存在区域异质性,相对于中部和西部地区而言,数字经济对东部地区城市的影响更为显著。
Based on the context of smart city pilot projects and utilizing panel data from 72 pilot prefecture-level cities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2012 to 2021,this study constructs a spatial Durbin model and a mediation effect model to empirically analyze the mechanism through which the digital economy influences new urbanization,as well as the mediating role of smart cities.The results indicate that new urbanization exhibits spatial spillover effects,and the digital economy significantly accelerates its progress;smart cities play a mediating role in the relationship between the digital economy and new urbanization;there exists regional heterogeneity in the impact of the digital economy on new urbanization,with its influence being more pronounced in eastern regions compared to central and western areas.
