摘要
在数字信息技术发展不均衡的背景下,文章基于2011-2020年中国省级层面宏观经济数据,构建数字鸿沟测度水平指标,实证考察数字鸿沟水平与就业增长之间的关系。研究发现:数字鸿沟的出现抑制了就业增长,特别是私营主体的就业规模受到了更大程度的抑制影响;数字普惠金融的发展能够缓解数字鸿沟所造成的就业增长抑制现象。上述发现不仅理顺了数字鸿沟、数字普惠金融与就业增长之间的逻辑关系,还为政府促进地区就业增长提供新思路。
Against the background of the uneven development of digital information technology,this pa-per constructs indicators for the level of digital divide measurement based on China's provincial-level macroeconomic data from 2011 to 2020,and empirically examines the relationship between the level of digital divide and employment growth.The study finds that:the emergence of digital divide inhibits em-ployment growth,especially the employment scale of private entities is affected by a greater degree of in-hibition;the development of digital inclusive finance can alleviate the phenomenon of inhibition of em-ployment growth caused by digital divide.The above findings not only rationalise the logical relationship between the digital divide,digital inclusive finance and employment growth,but also provide new ideas for the government to promote regional employment growth.
