摘要
在基督教传统中,圣骨匣是用来存放圣物(如:圣人遗骸、圣人使用或接触过的衣物与布料、圣刺与荆棘冠的碎片等)的盒子或箱子,被认为有着超自然的治疗能力。现藏于大都会博物馆的《斐斯齐摩根圣骨匣》就是一件典型的拜占庭式珐琅彩制品。作为后圣像破坏运动时期的工艺品,它为我们提供了拜占庭手工技艺衰退时期的视窗。
In the Christian tradition,staurotheke is a box or box used to store sacred objects(such as the remains of saints,clothes and cloth used or touched by saints,fragments of holy thorns and thorny crowns,etc.),which is considered to have supernatural healing power.The Fieschi Morgan Staurotheke now stored in the Metropolitan Museum is a typical Byzantine enamel work.As a handicraft in the post iconoclastic period,it provides us with a window into the decline of Byzantine handicrafts.
