西南地区青杨派乡土杨树的早期生长性状

Early growth characteristics of the native Populus in section Tacamahaca from southwest China

摘要 【目的】通过对11种青杨派杨树幼树的生长性状和生长节律调查比较,利用早期选择方法缩短乡土杨树的育种时间,同时为选择生长性状优良、生产力水平高的乡土杨树提供参考依据。【方法】以11种青杨派杨树无性系幼树为材料,研究苗木苗高、地径和径容量的差异性及相关性,利用Logistic方程拟合树高、地径的生长曲线,并将11种杨树的生长性状进行聚类分析。【结果】1)树高和地径在11种青杨派杨树间存在较为明显的差异,树高上长果柄亚东杨和金沙杨较为突出,而地径和茎容量指数上滇杨较为突出。2)11种青杨派杨树的生长性状可分为3类,第1类为:滇杨、金沙杨、长果柄亚东杨、藏川杨、小叶杨、亚东杨6个种,表现为树高生长快,地径粗壮,生产力高;第2类为:长叶杨,其特征为树高和地径生长较缓慢,生产力低;第3类为:德钦杨、乡城杨、康定杨、西南杨4个种,表现为树高生长中等、地径生长快,树干粗壮,生产力中等;3)树高和地径生长表现为异速生长,树高生长提前地径生长半个月,总体符合“慢-快-慢”的生长节律。4)树高和茎容量指数均与速生期的起始、结束和速生点的时间以及速生期的长短具有显著的负相关性,地径的生长量与速生期的起始和结束时间呈显著的正相关,而并未与速生期的长短存在显著的相关性。【结论】11种青杨派杨树的生长性状及生长节律存在显著差异,其树高、地径和茎容量指数均可作为早期性状选择的依据;通过这些性状筛选出长果柄亚东杨、金沙杨和滇杨3个树种,这3个树种的树高和地径生长较快,生产力水平较高,可重点作为乡土杨树的开发利用或树种遗传改良对象。 【Objective】The purpose of this paper was to shorten the breeding time of native Populus by the early selection method through the investigation and comparison of the growth characteristics and growth rhythm of 11 kinds of Populus seedlings.At the same time,it provided a reference basis for selecting native Populus with excellent growth characteristics and high productivity.【Method】Using 11 Populus clones in section Tacamahaca as the materials,the difference and correlation of seedling height,ground diameter and diameter capacity were studied.The growth curves of tree height and ground diameter were fitted by the Logistic equation,and the growth characteristics of the 11 Populus species were analyzed by cluster analysis.【Result】1)There were differences in tree height and ground diameter among the 11 Populus species.Populus yatungensis var.pedicellata and Populus fangiana var.microphylla were more prominent in tree height,while Populus yunnanensis was more prominent in ground diameter and volume index.2)The growth characteristics of the 11 Populus species in section Tacamahaca can be divided into three categories.The first category included Populus yunnanensis,Populus fangiana var.microphylla,Populus yatungensis var.pedicellata,Populus szechuanica var.tibetica,Populus simonii and Populus yatungensis,which were characterized by fast height growth,strong ground diameter and high productivity.The second category consisted of Populus wuana,which was characterized by the slow growth of tree height and ground diameter and low productivity.The third category was Populus haoana,Populus xiangchengensis,Populus kangdingensis and Populus schneideri,which showed medium height growth,fast ground diameter growth,strong trunk and medium productivity.3)The tree height and ground diameter showed allometric growth,and the tree height growth was half a month ahead of schedule,which generally conformed to the rhythm of“slow-fast-slow”.4)The tree height and volume index were significantly negatively correlated with the time of the start,end and the point of the fast-growing period as well as the length of the fast-growing period.Meanwhile,the growth of ground diameter was significantly positively correlated with the start and end time of the fast-growing period,which however was not significantly correlated with the length of the fast-growing period.【Conclusion】There are significant differences in growth characteristics and growth rhythm of the 11 Populus species in section Tacamahaca.The tree height,ground diameter and stem capacity index can be used as the basis for the selection of early characteristics.Populus yatungensis,Populus fangiana var.microphylla and Populus yunnanensis were selected based on these characteristics,which showed larger height and ground diameter growth and higher productivity.Thus,they can be applied for the development and utilization of native Populus as well as the genetic improvement of tree species.
