摘要
人工智能"深度合成"技术的发展和应用带来的新科技浪潮,引发了学者们对技术介入下传播生态变革的深刻讨论。但其负面形象"深度伪造"的广泛传播,不利于公众对"深度合成"技术的正确认知,以及该技术的未来发展。本文在分析其纯数学技术特征,从科技哲学角度梳理其超真实仿真技术逻辑的基础上,较为全面地阐释了"深度合成"技术给传播生态带来的巨大变革。"深度合成"技术将人们带进虚拟化生存时代。它加深了算法对新闻生产与传播的参与程度,进一步解放了新闻业者的繁重体力劳动,让更加深刻的新闻选题和更加生动的新闻传播成为可能。在更广泛的传播领域,"深度合成"技术促进了不在场传播细节的进一步还原,虚拟传播场景更具真实感的构建,实现了传播主体由实在个体向非实在个体的拓展。而面对"深度合成"技术潜在的风险,超真实仿真对真与假边界的模糊,以及人们对以往判别真伪方式失灵的恐慌等负面影响,本文从技术内部和社会外部视角提出了几个可能的风险的应对之策。本文认为,通过多方合作共同应对的治理方式,以及通过技术应用场景的合理安排,"深度合成"技术将发挥最大程度的善用。
The current development and application of "deep synthesis" technology based on artificial intelligence has triggered a new wave of discussion about the revolution of communication ecology. However, the widespread dissemination of its negative image of "deepfake" is not conducive to the public’s correct understanding of "deep synthesis" and its future development. Based on analyzing the technical characteristics of pure mathematics and the logic of its super-real simulation technology from the perspective of philosophy of science and technology, this study explains the tremendous changes brought about by the "deep synthesis" to the communication ecology. "Deep synthesis" technology brings people into the era of virtual living. It promotes the participation of algorithms in news production and dissemination, further liberates the heavy manual labor of journalists, and makes it possible for more in-depth news topics and more vivid news dissemination. In the broader communication field, "deep synthesis"promotes the further reduction of the details of absent communication, more realistic construction of virtual communication scenes, and expands communication agents from real individuals to non-real individuals. In the face of the potential risks of "deep synthesis", the blurring of the boundary between true and false by hyper-realistic simulation,and the panic that people have failed to distinguish between true and false by using old-fashioned methods, this study analyzes the response strategies to risks from the perspective of technology and society. The study proposes a governance approach for multi-party cooperation. The author believes that through the reasonable arrangement of technical application scenarios, "deep synthesis" will be used in friendly way to human.
