摘要
在以往的认知范畴中,叙事说理好像并非诗歌的一个优点。但是由于《尝试集》中的叙事说理是处于新旧诗歌的交替之间,所以胡适的这种叙事说理便具有了双重意义:一是把中国诗歌从高蹈、曼妙,可缺少几许人间气息的玄虚境界中,拉回到真实的日常生活感受中来,即让诗歌直接与普通人的普通体验、普通情感、普通语言连接在一起;二是不再把含蓄之美视为中国诗歌的最高美学准则,即强调诗歌除了有“美”的作用之外,还应在隐喻、诠释道理诗的有用性这一点上有所作为。这两大转换意味着诗歌除了是可供欣赏的艺术之外,还是与诗人同呼吸、共命运的一种精神载体。胡适的叙事说理理论,在颠覆了旧诗歌话语体系的同时,也构建起了一套与思想、精神相关联的理性话语体系。他的这一“革命性”举动,在拓展了诗歌表现题材的同时,也扩大了诗歌的意义版图。
In the former cognitive category, narrative exposition of reason seemed not to be the advantage of poetry. Narrative exposition of reason in Hu Shi’s Collection of Attempts was in the alternative period of the new and classical poetries. Therefore, Hu Shi’s narrative exposition of reason had double significance: poetry should be connected with common experiences, emotion and language of common people;subtle beauty of poetry should not regarded as the highest aesthetic principle and poetry’s use fulness should be emphasized. These two transformations mean that the poetry is the spiritual carrier which shares a common rate with the poet, besides an art appreciation. Hu Shi’s narrative exposition of reason subverted the discourse system of classical po etry, and established rational discourse system connecting with thoughts and spirit. Hu Shi’s poetic practice broadened the poetic subject and the poetic meaning scope.
