摘要
本文针对Chinglish回潮的严峻局面,深刻反思为公示语翻译实践、标准建设、应用监管提供理论和智力支持的公示语翻译学术研究所存在的问题;提出以跨文化交际理论为指导,语言环境创建论为依托,重新定义公示语与公示语翻译,形成符合"新常态"语境下的公示语翻译理论研究与实践体系,以期让Chinglish远离公示语翻译。
This essay evaluates problems existing in the academic research of C-E sign translation,which offers theoretical and consultative support to the translation practice,standardization and supervision of public signs,with a view to checking the'booming'of Chinglish signs all over China now. The paper offers a redefinition of the concept of public signs and practice of C-E signs translation in line with both the intercultural communication theory and language environment creation theory,in the hope of forming a system,theoretically and practically for C-E signs translation in the 'new normal'context.
