摘要
在辽金以来土地买卖契约文书中，“畛”是一个较为常见的词，而文献整理及研究者对此有不同的释义，本文认为其义指田地的行垄，非田间小路或界线。“畛”在辽金以后主要用于山西为中心的北方地区，南方方言不见，因此当为北方方言用词。
Zhen（畛） is a frequent word in the land deal contracts since Liao and Jin Dynasties. Docu-ments organizers and researchers have different ideas on its definition. This paper argues that its meaning is the ridge of the field, not path in field or boundary line. Zhen is mainly used in the north ern region centered on Shanxi after the Liao and Jin Dynasties. It hasn＇t been seen in southern dia- lect, so it should belong to northern dialect.
