摘要 地方本科高校向应用型转变是现代高等教育的当务之急。本文总结了宁波工程学院化工学院参加大学生化工设计竞赛所取得的经验及成绩,提出了"以赛促改"的观念,即以化工设计竞赛为基础,以服务地方经济为原则,对化工专业卓越工程师培养方案、教学方法及学生的学习方法进行改革,并以化工专业学科转型,带动学校向应用型高校转型。 It is urgent priority that transformation of local undergraduate universities to those of applica tion type ones for the present higher education. In this paper, it is summarized the experiences and a chievements from chemical design competition attended by department of chemical engineering of Ningbo University of Technology in recent years. It is proposed the concept of 'promotion of transformation by competitions', namely, to serve the local economy on the basis of the chemical design competition. The reform program is proposed for the chemical engineering excellent engineers" education, teaching and study method. Chemical engineering is used as an exemplar to promote the transformation process of lo cal undergraduate universities to those of application type.
