The Latest Trend, Characteristics and Social Functions of the United States CTE Secondary and Higher Vocational Linking

摘要 美国CTE(生涯与技术教育)在新世纪发生了一些重大变革,CTE的内涵、目标、原则、角色注入了新的诠释。在中高职衔接过程中,CTE总体的规模、结构、质量有了较大提升,呈现出目标理念上的一致性、体系构建上的包容性、形式设计上的开放性和质量要求上的严格性特点,对于提高CTE在美国社会认可度、提升学生和民众的受教育水平、适应"再工业化"战略等经济发展需求、促进职业教育机会均等和增强劳动力国际竞争力等具有重要社会功能。 The CTE education in the United States has undergone some major changes in the new century,a new interpretation injects into the content,objectives and principles of CET. The overall scale,structure and quality of the secondary and higher vocational linking has been greatly improved,and shows the characteristics of the consistency on the target concept,the inclusiveness on system construction,the openness on form design,the stringent on quality requirements. It has important social functions on improving the social acceptance of CTE in the United States,enhancing the education level of students and the public,meeting the economic development requirements of"re-industrialization"strategy,promoting the equal opportunities for vocational education and increasing the international competitiveness of labor.
