摘要
基于2010年第三期中国妇女地位调查关于1522个农民工的全国性样本研究表明,农民工是否参与工会与劳动权益的诸多方面存在显著相关。在控制工作组织特性、人力资本和社会环境诸要素之后,参与工会者的工资水平比未参与者高23%,其劳动合同签订、养老保险参与、医疗保险参与等劳动权益也显著高于未参加工会者,这种作用对非国有部门的农民工尤为明显。研究认为,应加大在非国有部门进行工会建设的力度,吸引更多农民工参与工会,进一步提升工会在农民工权益维护方面的作用,并在工会组织建设、工会组织生存环境改善及农民工维权意识培育上增强力度。
The third phase of China National Sample Survey（2010） on the Status of Women, involving 1,522 migrant workers, shows that there is a significant correlation in many aspects between whether migrant workers are involved in the trade union and labor rights. After controlling such elements as characteristics of work organization, human capital and social environment,the workers involved in the Trade Union earn 23% more than non-participants. Their labor rights ,such as as- signment of labor contract, pension participation and health insurance participation, are also significantly higher than non- participants. This is more apparent for the migrant workers in non-state-owned sectors. Studies suggest that we should en- hance the trade union building in the non-state-owned sectors to attract more migrant workers to join trade union, and further strengthen the role of trade union in protecting rights of migrant workers and finally enhance efforts on fostering trade union organizations, improving the living environment of trade union and promoting the consciousness of maintenance of rights for migrant workers unions.
