摘要
多媒体课件的使用使传统的单一课堂教学模式呈现多模态化趋势。课堂教学多模态化实践研究对英语教学具有重要意义,以5名英语教师教学示范课演示的PPT课件为研究语料,从PPT语篇中显现的语篇类型和意义表达过程的模态运用等方面,分析当下外语教师课件制作的特点及存在的不足并提出改进策略,旨在使多模态化的课堂教学更趋合理,从而提高基于多媒体辅助的外语课堂教学的效度。
The use of multimedia-assisted teaching courseware has induced the teaching methodology into a multimodal trend.Based on the PPT designed by five teachers of English,this paper analyzes the aspects of genre and the use of modes of the teaching PPT.The findings are that teachers are inclined to use direct multimodal texts in their PPT presentations,and among them,language and image are two frequently used modes in their PPT meaning-making.On the whole,teachers' PPT making is apt at meaning conveying,but in order to make the multimodal classroom teaching more effective,the paper gives some suggestions for English teachers to overcome their weaknesses in PPT making.
