摘要
曾经有学者认为汉语"民族"一词是古汉语的固有词语,而且在《南齐书》中就已出现。本文通过对西晋王浚妻华芳墓志的解读,指出"民族"一词的出现可以追溯到西晋永嘉年间,比《南齐书》中的实例早约200年。
The term ＂Minzu＂ was believed to be an original phrase in ancient Chinese and found in the book Nan Qi Shu. By interpreting the inscription on the tombstone of Wang Jun＇s wife Hua Fang living in Western Jin Dynasty, the paper points out that the term ＂Minzu＂ was used in the reigning time of Emperor Yongjia, about 200 years earlier than in the book Nan Qi Shu.
