摘要
高等教育学龄人口的下降和高等教育质量竞争时代的来临,使得我国外语高等教育面临前所未有的竞争压力和生存压力。文章首先借助外语专业设置、外贸和外资企业结构等方面的统计数据分析了我国外语高等教育存在的三大供需矛盾:以英语和日语为主的专业设置与语种多元化需求的矛盾;人才培养同质化与多样化人才需求之间的矛盾;研究生教育发展滞后与外语人才需求高层化的矛盾。然后,文章提出了实施基于需求导向的外语教育发展战略的建议,并给出了化解三大供需矛盾的战略路径。
In Chinese higher education field, with the decrease of school-aged population and increase of quality competition, foreign language education is facing unprecedented competition and survival pressure. Based upon statistics of major settings of foreign language higher education, structure of foreign trade, structure of foreign-founded enterprises, this paper begins with an analysis of three pairs of contradiction between supply and demand： the contradiction between English ＆ Japanese-focused major settings and multi-language demand; the contradiction between talents-cultivating homogenization and diversified-talents demand; the contradiction between poor quality of postgraduate education and high-level talents demand. Then, the paper proposes some demand-oriented strategies to develop foreign language higher education, and offer three strategic approaches to deal with the supply-demand contradictions.
