摘要
本文利用语料库方法调查国内初中和高中各一套新课标英语教材词汇,发现广度覆盖上,不少"课标词汇"和"基本词汇"在教材中未呈现或呈现频数较低,尤其是"课标词汇"的第8级词汇。调查也显示,部分教材未呈现的"课标词汇"缺乏作为大纲词汇的充足理据。词汇深度上,不少"基本词汇"在常用语义、典型范式和搭配方面在教材中缺失或呈现不足,尤其是多词性词汇和在教材中出现频数较低的词汇。调查展示了教材词汇评估的多维度框架及语料库工具、方法和实证资源对教材词汇的选择、呈现和评估的重要价值。
The corpus-based study of vocabulary in New-Curriculum-based high school English course books finds that,in width,many Curriculum Words and Basic Words don't occur or occur only once or twice in the course books,particularly the level 8 of Curriculum Words.The width analysis also shows the need of rethinking the rationale of curriculum words selection.In depth,some common senses,typical patterns and collocations of the Basic Words are absent or under-represented,particularly those of several parts of speech or with low occurrences.The research demonstrates the multi-dimensional framework for textbook vocabulary evaluation and the great strength of corpus tool,corpus approach and corpus-based empirical data in the selection,presentation and evaluation of textbook vocabulary.
