摘要
目的了解患者对男护士的认知、接受、需求情况,为培养和合理使用男护士提供依据。方法采用问卷调查法对南京市4所医院的住院患者就其对男护士认知、接受、需求情况和对男性从事护理职业的优势和素质要求进行调查。结果117例患者对男护士的知晓率为79.5%;31.6%接受男护士护理,40.2%勉强接受;希望男护士具备的素质:热爱护理事业(80.3%)、奉献精神(70.9%)、细致耐心(61.5%)、良好的沟通能力(58.1%)及性格开朗(54.7%)。结论年龄大或学历低的患者对男护士的认可度较低;患者对男护士有一定的需求,建议更多的男性从事护理职业,充分发挥男护士优势,提高男护士的认可度,更好地促进护理事业发展。
Objective To understand patients＇ cognition, acceptance of and needs of male nurses, so as to provide a basis for cultivation and reasonable use of male nurses. Method In-patients chosen from 4 hospital were requested to complete the questionnaire concerning their cognition, acceptance, needs of male nurses and their perceived advantages of such nurses. Results Of the 117 patients, the knowledge rate of male nurses was 79.5%, and 31.6% accepted, 40.2% accepted grudgingly, nursing from male nurses. The qualities expected of such nurses included love of nursing （80.3%）, spirit of devotion （70.9%）, meticulousness and patience （61.5%）, good social skills （58.1%） and out-goingness （54.7%）. Conclusion Patients of old age and poor education background exhibit a low acceptance rate of male nurses. Generally, patients have a certain demand for male nurses. It is suggested that there be more male nurses to bring the advantages of males into full play and increase the acceptatnce rate of thses nurses to promote the development of the nursing career.
