摘要
指纹图像中的模糊区域标记属于指纹识别系统中对指纹图像的预处理过程,对于提高指纹识别的正确率具有重要作用。文章在引入指纹图像模糊程度度量因子的基础上,给出了一种指纹图像中的模糊区域标记方法和指纹图像整体质量评价方法。实验结果表明,方法能较好地识别出指纹图像中的模糊区域,具有算法简单、无需人工干预、计算量小、适应性强等优点。
Marking of unrecoverable region in fingerprint images is an important part of pre-process in fingerprint recognition systems, which plays an important role in the improvement of the recognition performance. Based on the local measurement of the blur factor, this paper proposed an approach to unrecoverable region marking and global quality evaluation for fingerprint images. Experimental results show that using the proposed approach the blurring region can be detected correctly. This approach is with more simplicity, less computation amount and has no need for training.
