摘要
自海湾战争以来,伊拉克问题一直是国际社会关注的焦点。英国通过对美国采取追随外交,在历次伊拉克危机中扮演着和美同样重要的角色。本文试以海湾战争、伊拉克战争和伊战后重建为研究个案,对英在伊拉克问题上的追随外交进行了梳理,认为其传统的“三环外交”在后冷战时期已发生了重大变化,不仅将英美“特殊关系”置于三环之首,且对美的追随外交愈演愈烈。
Since the end of Gulf War, Iraq has become the focus of the international community. The U.S is the leading actor in Iraq issue, while, by pursuing bandwagon diplomacy towards the U.S., the UK also plays an important role in all the previous Iraq conflicts. By interpreting British bandwagon diplomacy in the Gulf War, Iraq War and Iraq reconstruction, the paper argues that Britain has initiated great adjustments to its ＂Three Circles Diplomacy＂. Ever since the end of Cold War, the UK has not only placed top priority to its special relations with the U.S. , but also intensified its bandwagon diplomacy.
