摘要
短光敏雄性核不育水稻是与农垦58S光反应相反的一种新的光温敏雄性核不育水稻。从籼稻B3与粳稻红粳配组的F1代异地结实率差异发现了水稻短光敏雄性不育现象;利用异地异季光温条件及人工控光施压选择,从杂种分离群体中定向选择育成短光敏雄性不育系宜DS1;以宜DS1为基因供体与紫圭杂交转育,育成籼型短光敏雄性不育系D38S。研究表明,宜DS1和D38S具有短光不育、长光可育的育性转换特性,在23—28℃的光敏温度范围内,短于13h的光照诱导不育,长于13.5h的光照诱导可育,光长主导育性转换。D38S具有优良的植株形态,可直接用作亲本选育两系杂交稻新组合。
The short-day male sterility rice (SDMSR) is a new kind of PTGMS rice whose male sterility is induced by short daylength, contrary to Nongken 58S, whose male sterility is induced by long daylength. It was discovered from the difference in seed setting rate of the F. hybrid of B3 (indica) and Hongjing (japonica) when the hybrid was grown at different locations. Yi DS1, a SDMSR line, was developed by directional selection from single plants in the segregating populations of the F1 hybrid under the natural conditions of different growing seasons at different locations, combining with the artifically-controlled daylength treatments. Using Yi DS1 as the gene donor of short-day male sterility and crossing it to Zigui (indica), a new SDMSR line, D38S, was developed. The experimental results showed that Yi DS1 and D38S had the fertility/sterility alteration characteristic that short daylength induced male sterility while long daylength induced male fertility. Within the range of daily mean temperature at 23 - 28℃, when the daylength was less than 13 hours, they were male-sterile; when daylength was more than 13.5 hours, they turned to be fertile, thus the daylength played a dominant role in the fertility alteration of SDMSR. D38S, belonging to indica rice, had a good plant type and could be used directly as the parent to develop new hybrid combinations in two-line hybrid rice breeding.
