摘要
对“双刃剑”比喻缺乏正确解读和对科学价值缺乏具体分析是学术界对“科学‘双刃 剑’”观点存在分歧的两个原因。维纳的“双刃剑”比喻实质上是指技术之于主体具有的“利弊共存 性”。由此来解读科学①,科学也是一柄“双刃剑”,即科学精神以“求得客观之真”为其终极价值的 “价值向度”之于主体具有“利弊共存性”;由科学方法的“方法域”所规定的制约和限定科学方法 有效性的相对界限之于主体具有“利弊共存性”;由科学知识的不确定性所带来的“科学风险”之于 主体也具有“利弊共存性”。
Vera's metaphor “a sword with double blades” actually refers to the “coexistence of advantages and disadvantages” of technology. When it is used to explain science, we can find that science is also a sword with double blades, i.e. scientific spirit's dimension, which takes “seeking the truth of objectivity” as its ultimate value, has a coexistence of advantages and disadvantages, science's relative limits, which are restrained by the range of scientific methods, has a coexistence of advantages and disadvantages, and “scientific risks”, caused by the uncertainty of science knowledge, has a coexistence of advantages and disadvantages.
