摘要
新公共外交时代,赢得他国公众好感的目标并未改变,新媒体技术的不断演进,为公众个体实践公共外交提供了技术条件。本文聚焦于2019年热议的李子柒个案,用Python语言爬取了海外公众对李子柒视频的评论数据,从个体叙事和情感连接两个层面分析李子柒视频如何引发海外公众的共情与认同,进而发挥公共外交效应。本文继而认为,在新公共外交时代,公众个体应成为实践主体,在与他国公众分享日常生活经验中建立情感连接,获得好感。而在主体和技术手段背后,最重要的是形成文化自觉,将中国独特的传统文化资源应用于公共外交实践之中。
In the new era of public diplomacy,the goal of winning public friendship of other countries remains unchanged.The continuous evolution of new media’s technologies has provided enough technical tools to individuals to engage in public diplomacy.Focusing on the case of Li Ziqi,who has been viral online since 2019,this paper analyzes the data of overseas public’s comments on Li Ziqi’s videos through the Python language,and analyzes how Li Ziqi’s videos have triggered the empathy and recognition of the overseas public and have made very good public diplomatic effect from two aspects—the individual narrative and emotional connection.In the new era of public diplomacy,public individuals will become the main players of public diplomacy while developing emotional connection and winning good feelings by sharing their daily life experience with people in other countries.Even with the feature of playing a major role and with many technical means,the most important for the new public diplomacy is,however,to have cultural consciousness and make use of China’s unique traditional cultural resources in public diplomatic practice.
