摘要
句法复杂性指语言产出中句法结构的多样性及复杂性,是衡量二语产出的重要指标之一。学习者二语写作句法复杂性可以体现学习者对目的语习得的实际情况,是衡量二语写作者语言行为及目的语发展整体水平的标准。与以往研究从词汇层面和体裁分析入手不同,本研究以句法为切入点,旨在对比中外作者科技论文英文摘要的句法复杂性,从而为今后中国科技论文英文摘要写作及教学提供启发。
Syntactic complexity,also known as grammatical complexity or syntactic maturity,refers to the diversity and complexity of syntactic structures in the language production.Syntactic complexity in L2 English writing reflects learners’actual proficiency of second language acquisition and the overall level of L2 English writing.Different from previous studies from the perspective of lexical level and genre analysis,the present study aims to compare the syntactic complexity of Chinese and foreign scholars,so as to provide implications for the writing and teaching of English abstract of Chinese science and technology papers.
