摘要
历史政治学不仅拥有独特的本体论和认识论,而且在方法论上也具有鲜明的特征。过去十余年来,社会科学的历史转向以及定性方法的发展都为历史政治学奠定了坚实的方法论基础。历史政治学中的"历史"并非仅仅指代曾经发生的事,它更强调研究者"历史地"看待政治现象。历史政治学通常以案例研究为基础,尤其关注非对称性的因果关系,其构成概念具有多维性与层次性的特征。作为一种研究传统,历史政治学重点关注情境与时间是如何对那些影响着政治经济社会关系的观念、制度和行为的起源与流变发挥作用。近些年,越来越多的学者开始强调时间与情境在政治分析中的重要性,并通过历史视野与国际比较重新审视政治学研究中的基础理论与重大问题。我们有理由相信,历史政治学完全有能力在未来的研究议程中占据重要地位。
Historico-Politics is unique not only in ontology and epistemology,but also in methodology.Thanks to the historical turn in social science and the development of qualitative methodology,the field of Historico-Politics has in fact grown by leaps and bounds over the past decade.While not unified by one theory or one method,all work in Historico-Politics shared a concern with case-based analysis,an emphasis on asymmetric causal relations,and the use of multidimensional concepts.Historico-Politics is a research tradition that examines how contexts and temporal processes influence the origin and transformation of structures,institutions and ideas that govern political,economic and social relations.In recent years,more and more social scientists use the core elements of history as building blocks of their theory to rethinking the first-order questions in our lives.That means the future of Historico-Politics will be very bright indeed.
