摘要
唐继尧作为近代云南的长期主政者,曾数次参与影响中国近代历史的事件,其本人虽不乏作为军阀的局限性,但在关键时刻,唐继尧都挺身而出,与"五四"共舞,为边疆发声,为中国领土主权发声。从这个意义上说,唐继尧所主政的云南在"五四"前后极大地影响了"西藏问题"的走向,阻止了"西藏问题"滑向英国帝国主义的预设轨道,不仅为日后解决"西藏问题"奠定了基础,也为今天我国各民族团结一心打下了历史基柱,对筑牢中华民族共同体意识起到了积极作用。
As a long-term leader of Yunnan,although Tang Jiyao has the impression of a warlord,he has participated in several events that affect the modern history of China.Fore-and-aft the May 4 th Movement,Tang intervened into"Tibet issue"and became an important factor to keep Chinese territorial integrity.This event has laid a groundwork of solving so called"Tibet issue",established a foundation of uniting ethnic groups of China,has positive effect on building community with shared consciousness of Chinese nation.
